Artsy Venture

2010-Aug-21, Saturday 01:30 pm
msmoon: (SM - Moonlight)

I wouldn't say that I'm an artist by any means. Sure, I can get creative and all, but since I don't paint or draw I don't see myself as artsy. Still, I love taking pictures. Not of myself of course -..-' But I love to take photos of flowers, landscapes, the sky, people, events, anything and everything :) So maybe I'm a tad on the artsy side, but I still wouldn't call myself artistic.

But lately, I've been wanting to take some of my photos and actually print them onto canvas. Of course, then it occurred to me that if I'm gonna do that, I need to figure out some way to put my signature on the photo… even if it's just my initials. That's just something that stamps the pic and says, 'yeah, this one's mine :)'. I wouldn't say that I'm a glory hog or territorial, but I know that people will think nothing of stamping their name on another person's work, and that infuriates me.

Still. I'm not even sure about ordering prints on canvas. I've googles "Photoes"+"Canvas" and several services popped up. One place that I really like is
Canvas Pop, just because they have a nice ordering process, and they allow you to see the work in space. Plus they let you specify unique measurements for your canvas. If you want a print that's 5x9 then go ahead and put that in and they'll print it for you. They are a tad on the expensive side tho…but I kinda expected that. Print Your Life is pretty cool too, but I find the only thing I like about their service is in their gallery under Grunge… It's just an intestine style. It's also interesting that they'll Avatar a pic of you… I should tell Jessica about that ^..^ Canvas on Demand isn't too bad of a place either….they allow custom measurements as well …and from what I can tell, they have Ty Pennington as a sponsor o..o Oh and lastly there's Photogonia, which offers a bunch of things other than just photo prints and canvas stuffs… there's like, tile sets and puzzles and keepsake boxes. All sorts of stuff.

…and with all that, is it any wonder I feel mixed about? I mean, there are so many options, I'm just not sure what to pick. I get so caught up in looking at options, that I forget entirely that I still am not sure about that whole signature thing -..-' I'm gonna try just scanning my signature into my computer as an image and then opening my photos with Corel Draw and placing the signature over a corner… see if that works.

The reason most of this quandary started is because Mom's birthday is coming up (Sept. 2 :3), and she mentioned a while back that she'd like to get three pictures of mine from Spring, Autumn and Winter and put them over her fire place. So, I wanna go over there and measure how high all those pictures would be (obviously they'd all be landscape style photos :]) and then choose three of my best prints.

…so that's my latest project. Not sure how far I'll get in it today, but I am working on that signature thing for right now… and gathering up prices on the websites that I'm looking at. o..o other than that, I really don't know what else to do until I'm actually ready to order so..yah.

I guess that's all for now. I'll write later, Sunshines :)

OK, so, my plan worked. I expected today would be no more than a grueling hell pit.... but it wasn't that bad. But when you gear yourself up to expect the absolute worst, you're always surprised by how things aren't so bad. So it worked.

That said, today wasn't that bad. It wasn't good, and I don't look forward to repeating it ever again, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday. But then... yesterday we were expecting a lot out of this place, and were unpleasantly surprised with how terrible it was. Today, all we did was hang about in mingle. There were a few interruptions to our own distractions (jumping rope, jaunts around the place, family photos and hoola-hooping, which reminded me of Scamp), but over all, it was just folks talking and having fun with each other.... them as could that is. My Uncle Buddy is known for being a stick in the mud, and he did not disappoint at this gathering either. But he had a bunk... so he confined himself there and left the rest of us to enjoy ourselves.

Scamp ended up not coming... and then having no reason not to come, which was a bummer. She had to stay home and watch her niece, Tiffany's daughter, who was still feeling ill, because Tiffany would be working. Well, after my Uncle Steve and Aunt Jane left and got here, Tiffany returned home from work saying that she was feeling sick... so she could have come if she would've known -..- But anyway. I had brought Scamp's Birthday+Christmas gift to give to her, and she had given my Birthday+Christmas present to Aunt Lane in case she couldn't make it. So, I gave her present to Uncle Steve. Anyway! Her gift to me is this cool owl with it's wings outstretched, and there are key hooks on the feathers for keys :D It's so cool. Immediately, I started thinking of alternate ways to use it.... like, instead of using it as a key rack, I could put it at the top of my office window and hanging sun-catchers from it instead :D That'd be cool. Still...maybe it'd be better if I just used it as what it was made for .... still :)

The Family photo session was a chaotic mess, but a fun chaotic mess. There were times when I wondered why we had thought we could accomplish such a gargantuan task... but, in the end I think we pulled it off as best we could :)

I hung about with various people, but I think I had the most fun with my cousins Angel and Pat. They're just fun chicks to be around. Not that I didn't enjoy any of my other Aunts/Uncles or Cousins, those are just the ones that stick out (just like always).
Now that I've had a shower, I do feel a bit better. I still can't wait to leave...but at least it hasn't all been terrible.

Oh well. I guess I have nothing else to really say. From here we go to Aunt Batty's (hallelujah), where there will be internet connection (Hallelujah!). I'm very much looking forward to seeing Houma again. I really can't wait. Sure, I won't be in my bed or taking a shower in my shower, but the facilities are much more accommodating than these.

I think I hear Mom and Bernadine getting out of the bathroom. I'm gonna go ahead and go blow-dry my hair. I really can't afford to leave it wet right now -..- Goodnight, Sunshines.

Oh, so much to bitch about and no signal... darn. Good thing I can type up stuff and vent, and then post it to LJ later. Otherwise, I'd have no outlet... Well, it's Friday night, and we've survived the first official day of the family reunion. I'm feeling better today than I was yesterday - heck, I'm feeling better tonight than I was this morning (even if I can't help thinking 'I can't wait till Sunday' over and over and over).

We finally got the kitchen around 1, and all the ladies went in and unpacked as much as they needed and began cooking. Mom knew that I was feeling bad, so she told me to find our cabins and unpack our clothes and such. She gave my cousin Patricia the key to unlock the bunkhouse and all the cabins, and I agreed to follow her and just plah-kay myself down in whichever one of the cabins I choose. So, Pat, Jerry (Bernadine's youngest) and I dissembarked. I was in my little car (which reeked of rotten watermelon) and Pat and Jerry were in Pat's big diesel truck. They lead and I followed through the twisting labyrinth that is Chicot State Park. Finally we came upon Cabins 1-5. So, we parked on the side of the road and went over to cabin 1 to try and unlock it. It wouldn't unlock. We tried again. Still, no go. We went over to cabin 2 and faced the same thing.

So...we left my car parked where it was and went back to the front office. Pat explained our problem and then returned to the truck laughing. Turns out, there are 5 cabins behind the kitchen (where we were originally)...... so, we went and got my car, and then went back to the group area. We trekked back to the 'cabins'. It was pathetic. They were little rooms, each with six bunk beds and an AC. That was it. There was a separate building that had mens and womens shower stalls and toilets (two of each). We were told that all these facilities were self contained (meaning furnished with everything you would need)... they aren't. The beds are almost entirely bare. The kitchen, though full of pots and pans, had no seasonings, plates, forks, knives, spoons or glasses. When we told Mom, she was so disappointed and frustrated, she looked like she might cry. I know for a fact that she wanted to. We tried to make light of it, and assure her that we could handle it anyway, but she was still upset by it. Still, they were busy making the gumbo and potato salad for that night, so she had something to occupy herself with... otherwise, she would've thought about it too much and been more upset. You know how that is.

Technically, we got this place at a great deal. It isn't cheap by any means, but it's cheap in comparison for what we want. But still, the pictures of the cabins online are the pictures of plush places, with sofas and beds and flat screen TVs. Not wall-to-wall bunk beds and communal bathrooms. Mom's worked hard to pull this together, and it's upsetting to see so little be supplied considering how much she's put into it.

Most easily put, I hate this place. I'm still sick, though not feverish, so at least that isn't a worry. But still. I'm the type of person that likes my own space. Bunk beds are confining. And the fact that I can't have privacy in a shower... That's just my own private hell. If I were perfectly healthy, I would hate this place.

We've managed to borrow sleeping bags from those that came more prepared. Still. It just isn't what we'd thought it'd be.

Oh well. I'm absolutely exhausted, and it's terribly freezing in here. Goodnight, Sunshines =..=

It has been so beautiful out these past couple of days. My allergies really don’t react to Spring well, but I’ve been managing. I’ve said before that I’ve traded the rain of Louisiana for the winds of Arkansas....it seems the statement just keeps getting more and more real. To be sure, it does rain here in Arkansas...but not like it does in Louisiana. There, everything’s water, and here everything’s air. The rain here comes and goes, a passing day-long drizzle that you barely notice if you don’t happen to step outside. In Louisiana, the sky raged, pounding down upon roof tops, echoing in thunder and startling flashes of lightning. There was no escaping the rain in Louisiana, but here...it’s barely noticeable for me as rain. The locals talk about it like it’s significant, but for me...it’s a simple trifle in comparison.

Another thing about the wind? It makes it difficult to swing. I’ve been swinging every day now - first starting with 15 minutes at a time, then increasing to 20 minutes (today and yesterday). The wind makes walking much more difficult, threatening to blow you down easily, and though I’d hoped leaving the ground on a swing might change that, it has not. The wind both pulls you forward when you wish to swing back and thrusts itself against you when you wish to swing forward. Aside from the normal aches in my legs and lower back, my hands are also very soar, not only the muscles but the skin. I suppose gripping nylon rope for 20 minutes is simply something I’m unused to -..- But I fully intend to keep at it in hopes that the aches will eventually fade as I become more used to it :)

The beauty of Spring is truly noticeable. I wish I had my camera, but Mom absconded it for her trip...though I don’t know why you’d want a camera at a funeral >..> But, there are tiny purple flowers all about that I absolutely love, not to mention the cherry tree is in full bloom! I’ve decided to use my deviantArt page again for the pictures that are really nice, and I’ve got 4 new ones up there so far. I have the picture of the
Crocus flower, two shots of the blossoms on the cherry tree (1 & 2) aaaand the one that Mom took of me on the swing...with my vary appropriate shirt :3 I only wish I still had my camera, because there are tons more blossoms on the cherry tree and more flowers still!

Mom and Aunt Carolyn were supposed to return yesterday (to my knowledge) and they did not...in fact, I haven’t heard from them since Friday night. Dad has called every day, though, and according to him, Aunt Carolyn’s passenger window was busted at some point....soooo, perhaps they are staying a day later in order to replace it and all. She did call me this afternoon to tell me that they were on their way and would probably be getting back sometime later tonight....

Oh! Also, thanks to my friend Alicia, I am now caught up on the Harry Potter series. She loaned me all of the movies yesterday, and I’ve watched them all. And while I find this world/story interesting, it’s not something I would obsess over. Oddly enough, Harry isn’t a character that I love....in fact, I favour Hermione or the Weasley Twins more. (and not just because the Weasley’s last name, and my last name are so similar it almost scares me...seriously, there’s only one letter different o..o). And, while I think the books may be something worth reading...I really don’t feel like spending money on them any time soon. So, until priorities changes, I shall simply go off movies.

Ah well. I haven’t eaten lunch today, so I should probably be about that. Later, Sunshine :)

Volunteer Work

2009-Mar-18, Wednesday 05:54 pm
msmoon: (Slayers - Bawl)

Compared to the last two days, today has been pretty busy. Woke up early and got dressed and ready. Mom and I went to town and I stopped at various places, handing out my resume. I also went to two staffing agencies, and I have an interview for a receptionist at a local insurance place this Friday at 11:30 (wish me luck :3)

After going to the hospital, the doctor’s office, the college (which, doesn’t accept resumes unless they have a position opened >..> lame), and the two staffing agencies, we were hungry and tired. So, we headed to McDonalds and then went home. We ate and watched HGTV (I love Color Splash and Deserving Design), and then we went outside and sat in the swing. We even swung on the new swing, but the board isn’t really wide enough and...alas, I am out of shape. But I would swing for a few minutes, and my syatic nerve would start to act up, so I’d go around the yard taking pictures, and then I’d feel ok again and I’d get back on and swing again :)

The reason I’m taking so many pictures is because everything is blooming! Our bradford pear tree is full of white blossoms, we’ve been having yellow daffodils everywhere that’re just so pretty, now there are two bushes behind our house that are full of yellow blossoms and the cherry blossom tree (the one that split in three from the ice storm?) has white blossoms all over it ^..^ It’s so cool.

Of course, Mom got a call from one of my Aunts....I think Aunt Audrey. They found my Uncle Wilford in his bed today, dead. Mom was a little shaken, because she said she’d just seen him at Richard’s funeral and he’d looked fine. She even said that she went out of her way to hug him... of course, Mom’s now really on the ball about the family reunion thing. She says that it’s a shame that the only time they all get together is when there’s a funeral, and she really wants to have a happy occasion to get together before they loose another one o..o

I have no idea how, but somehow, I got volunteered for helping to organise this monster >..> I can’t say that I really mind, because I know Mom doesn’t really know a lot about these sorts of things - and, I’m not saying that I’m so great at it, but still, I have gone to conventions before, so at least I have an idea of what could/should be done. For one, we’re working on getting a head count of who all wants to go, that way we’ll be able to get a pricing list (this place is going to coast $800 for the 2 nights we’re staying, so it cannot be free =..=). After the head count, we’ll figure out who intends to show up and when...I can’t see charging full price to someone who plans on only being there one night/day, and if people bring campers and don’t actually stay on, what’s the point in charging them, right? Also, I want to get as many e-mail addresses as I can, and actually start a news letter from an official e-mail (not one of my own) with updates and suggestions and all that jazz. I told Mom that for the evenings we can all just eat supper together and talk and enjoy one another’s company, but for the days, we’ll need to think of activities and stuff to do >..> I’m not the best person for that. I also told Mom that I’d like to get pictures of her siblings that have passed away, perhaps both past and present photos, and blend those pictures together and put their names on the photo and frame it nicely....it just would be a nice reminder of those who couldn’t make the reunion...I asked Aunt Lane about that, since I know she has a lot of pictures of everyone with her genealogy project. I have little doubt that during the reunion, I will have my camcorder out as well :)

Aaaand I’ve got church tonight. I’ll be asking Alicia if she plans on going to Wal-Mart this Friday at 11ish. In case everyone has been living in a hole for a while... Twilight comes out this Saturday. Now, I have it on good authority (both Scamp, who’s sister works at a Wal-Mart, and from calling the local Wal-Mart) that at midnight on the 20/21 they will be pulling out the Twilight DVDs at Wal-Mart. Not only that, every Wal-Mart should be having a fairly large Twilight parafinelia section with clothes and accessories....I called the local Wal-Mart to make sure I wasn’t just showing up for nothing this Friday night/Saturday morning, and the dude in electronics said that they’ll be stocking the DVD’s at Midnight on Friday/Saturday, and he’s not certain what’s going on, but in another department behind the jewelry section, they’re setting something up >..> Sounds worth investigating at least. I even called Jennifer (a local family friend who I found out is a Twi-Teen) to see if maybe she and her sister and mom would like to come with us to Wal-Mart and hang out and see what there was to see....but they’re going out of town tomorrow so...yeah. Make no mistake, I fully intend to buy my copy of Twilight from Target. The
Twilight-Target deal is a much better one if I’m asked (and it’s my journal, so I’ll pretend that I was). A 3-disc deal for $17.99? Hello! I am so all over that....but the hard-core fan girl in me(who squees randomly at SpunkRansom’s golden eyes) demands that I show up if only to see what there will be to see.

/sigh. I guess that’s all...I don’t have anything else to add, and it’s about time I started getting ready for church. It’s been so nice out today...I’m glad we got some outside time :) I’ll talk later. See ya, Sunshines

Mom and I have taken on the biggest surprise we can manage for Dad. We emptied out his room, and kilzed every wall. Dad loves blue, right? Well, Mom and I got him this bed spread (a nice one) that’s this deep, rich brown, with small tan and cream wavy lines on it and a light blue line here and there on it too. So we’re painting his room a light denim blue, the trim will be white, his bed and dresser will be white too, and his curtains will be brown. It’s all the colors that he likes :) Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone :D

I will say, and maybe it’s corny since everyone says it, but you don’t realize how much stuff is in a room until you have to empty it =..= The computer and computer desk is the only thing still in the room, and we just covered that with a tarp. What I’d like to do, is after the painting is all done, go to Wal-Mart and get some rich dark brown picture frames, and take pictures of the family, and put them up in that room....but I don’t know if Mom will go for that >..> Anyway, I totally took pictures of the room when we’d emptied it, and I just took pictures of it a moment ago with the kilz dried. Mom and Aunt Carolyn went to town to get some white spray paint, so I’m waiting to see what the plan will be....the little break has been nice =..=

The weather has proven a big help actually. The walls are drying faster because the wind is really gusting. We just opened up the windows and let it. Mom says that we’ll have more of a chance of rain tomorrow though, so I don’t know if she’ll want to finish tonight....or put it off till tomorrow.

..../sigh. I’ma finish this post up and watch Vern Yip on Deserving Design. HGTV, take my mind :) Later, Sunshines.

Ice storm....huge event. I don’t know if anyone’s seen the news but, our area was seriously a disaster area. In the most serious sense of the word. I have tons of pictures up on
FaceBook and MySpace. If there is one thing this experience can prove to me, it’s that while ice and snow storms generate amazing pictures, those pictures will not keep you warm should the power go out....still, it’s a great way to get creative and something to send to friends after the power comes back on.

Let’s see....the last time I posted here was Monday...and we were just hunkering down for the storm to really hit. Tuesday ...there was ice everywhere. About an inch to an inch and a half on the ground, on the roof, on the trees and branches...everywhere. I did manage to get out with my camera and zeiss, and I got footage of it all. It was very miserable thought, because while the ice had already fallen, it was still raining....so, I was constantly getting hit by varying amounts of freezing water. At one point, I stayed out a little too long, and I came back in and had tiny droplets of ice in my hair. It was pretty interesting. Some time in the afternoon, we began to play the only game available during freezing rain... ‘what’s breaking outside’. The tree limbs had just gotten too heavy and were started to just snap off. In one instance I even got a limb falling on camera. And Tuesday night around 10, our power went out. It had been flickering all day long, and we really were just waiting for it to happen. Mom and I made sure the fire was secure and then we hunkered under our microplush sheets. I tell you, that is a product I will always stand by. In the winter, they’re absolutely necessary. The sheets form a cocoon really, and they trap body heat, so you’re consistently warm throughout the night. I had no idea it was even cold while I was sleeping.

Wednesday ....was a different. Mom and I put on 2 layers of clothes just for around the house (it helped feel comfortable). Then we went outside with the camera, because it had stopped raining and snow had fallen during the night. It was lovely out. The pictures from that morning are also up and they far exceed the ones from the day before. We took pictures, we took video, we clowned about...and then we went back inside. I had hurt my back sometime Monday night - my syatic nerve was killing me, but there was nothing for it. So I moved a little more awkwardly, but I still managed to help Mom get the fire going. We were going to try and use Dad’s butain tank and burners to cook breakfast.....but the tank was empty. So, Mom, insistent on having something warm, put a pot in the fireplace and made herself some coffee (cappuccino, that is). We both had that along with reusing yesterday’s bacon by putting the cold strips between some biscuits. It was an ok breakfast, especially considering the circumstances. We grabbed about 4 microplush blankets, hauled our chairs in front of the (open) fireplace and just hunkered down. It was surprisingly warm really.

I remember calling Scamp at some point, which was funny since, right after I called her I remembered that I had started to reply to her letter the night before and decided to pick that up as well. When I was getting a crick in my neck from that, I turned to New Moon. Mom actually fell asleep in her recliner, and then at about 3:40ish, the power came back on. We immediately hopped up, fixed warm food, resituated the living room, and did what we knew we had to do just in case it might go back off again. I remember writing a little paragraph in the letter to Scamp about the power coming back on, but I couldn’t just sit there and not help Mom with stuff that needed to be done....so, I had to drop that and pick it back up again later. After over and hour of buzzing about, I finally got to send a text to everyone who’d been concerned telling them we had power back. I also got all my pictures onto a jump drive and then onto Makoto-san so I could post them to FaceBook and MySpace. I was still too tired to write an entry then (it took hours to upload all the pictures to every medium I need =..=).

...I honestly do not remember anything that happened Thursday. I know the snow and ice was seriously melting at that point...and I’m sure that I went out with Zeiss and got footage of its progress. But other than that, nothing really sticks out.

Friday, the ice had finally melted enough that we could get out of the house. Our neighbours could as well, some of the less fortunate ones who still did not have power came over and took showers at our place. I was content to stay on Makoto in the living room and lightly pay attention to whatever conversation may transpire...but then the 15 year old Jennifer came out of her shower with an Edward and Bella shirt on....needless to say, my response was “Oh, she’s a Twilighter.” and that got the girl talking. As with all Twilight fans, Twilight is a bridge between ages and backgrounds. It didn’t matter that I was 11 years older than her or that we perhaps had no other common interests....I was a Twilighter and she was a Twi-Teen. I had made a friend :)

Also, as a side note to all my fellow Twilighters, I’d just like to briefly draw your attention the the
Borders web site, where a special edition Twilight is available for $29.99. From what I can tell, this is the cheapest price for this product. Sure, I may not be able to afford it, but perhaps you can :)

Anyhow. Today, was the start of bloody hell week for me. And while I did manage to crank out one chapter of a story for Scamp to beta for me, I doubt anything else will be done for another 5 to 7 days. My back is still killing me, to the point that I can no longer ignore it. At this point, I am going to have to consider finding a doctor to figure out what is going on with this. Yesterday, I was putting my clothes away, squatting down in front of my bedside drawers, and when I began to stand, my legs gave out on me entirely. I tried to grab for something to keep myself from falling, but I was falling so fast I couldn’t get a grip on anything. I toppled backwards into my closet door, and broke the door off its track =..= That...hurt. After I managed to pick myself up off the floor, I limped into the other room and told Mom. She agreed that we will have to get this checked out.

I can’t think of anything else to say...Not that there aren’t things to be said....it’s just that the medicine I took for the pain is making my mind go blank. At least that’s my story and I’m sticking with it. I suppose I’ll write later, Sunshines.

You're not perfect, thank goodness. Your flaws are part of what's lovable about you.

The area we live in right now is under an ice-storm warning. Local officials have shut down pretty much everything for the day (schools, nonessential businesses, etc.), and warned everyone to be prepared. They’re expecting anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 inches of ice to fall, and that could mean downed power lines. Mom and I have gotten pretty much everything we could possibly need for this occasion. We have plenty of water and food and wood for the fire. We’ve charged up our cell phones as well, and cleaned and then filled my bath tub with water (just in case). Over all, we’re pretty set to hunker down and wait till Wednesday or Thursday...whenever the weather decides to brighten up a bit :)

In other news, this morning while we were watching the Food Network, a show came on that I’d never seen before in my life. But it was a show called Giada at Home and the only reason I kept watching it was because they showed some sort of sushi roll and someone in the back was saying “Doesn’t that look good?” Or something like that. And Mom was like, “Oh look, she’s gonna show you how to make sushi.” and so...you know, I taped it (naturally). But the sushi she was making...well, it just didn’t thrill me. So, I did what I always do, turn to my dear friend Google. From my search I found 2 web sites:
Sushi Recipes and Sushi Links. From the Sushi Links place, I found the Sushi Magic Kit which looks fantastically awesome (it’s also awesomely fantastic :D), and that is now the top priority on my Amazon.com Asian Theme Wish List. Among the myriad of books in my Book Wish List, the one at the top of the list is Sushi For Dummies (for obvious reasons :D). Also, if you scroll down a little, you’ll see after all the sushi books the Where’s Waldo? The Complete Collection book XD Feel free to laugh, I usually do.....my goodness but I did love those books.

Anyway...it has been a busy day. Mom didn’t sleep well, so she’s gone off to take a nap. I plan to stay in the living room for a while and hang the clothes up when they’re done...and make sure the fire does not go out. Other than that, it seems it will be a very slow, lazy day.

Last night, before I went to bed, I managed to upload a bunch of pictures to my
deviantART page. I now have 2 small galleries, one is Trees and the other is Sunset. I’m actually really happy with all of them. Sunset especially, but I did manage to get some really good shots of those trees in Bayou Blue. So, I’m happy with both.

....I really can’t think of anything else to write...Ice storm - check. Sushi obsession - check. Photos on deviant - check. Guess that’s everything. :) Later, Sunshines.

Bringing It On Home

2009-Jan-07, Wednesday 02:54 pm
msmoon: (OMG! ONOZ!)

So! Slight change of plans... See, we thought that the weather would be too rough for Dad to come in, and they were really really rough, but they went ahead and took them in. We got a call about an hour ago, he said he was around Slidel, but there was a huge accident so he wasn't certain how long he'd be. So, the plan now is that he'll come in and we'll pack everything up but what we need tonight, and we'll be heading out around 3 or 4 in the morning.

The past couple of days have been so full of activity. Just today, we went to my bank and closed out my accuont (no Chase banks in Harrison :( Sad panda), went to the drug store and picked up my last batch of pills here, paid half of a bill that we owe, and then I went to Edward Jones and got the paperwork to roll my current 401k funds into an IRA done.

Oh, and those wonderful nails I got on the 26th of December for Reiko's wedding? They're all gone. A few days ago 2 of them just popped out (without provokation!), and slowly all the others have either been catching and pulling or breaking. So today, Mom and I got some stuff that you soak the nail in, and it removes it.....it was not fun, because in the end, you either are rubbing your fingers in there for about 20 minutes to get it off, or you rub it for 10 and pull it the rest of the way. And afterwards, all my skin and fingers and nails looked terrible!

I did managed to take pictures of some trees on Bayou Blue road. There are these beautiful oak trees that hang over the bayou next to a car wash. I stopped and took a bunch of pictures.

le tired...I figured while we were taking a break I'd just pop in and update but...gosh I'm tired. And we're going to be packing and doing all the last minute things soon. I'm so eager to just be up there so I can crash and not have to worry about all this. Traveling is not for me. I love exploring and seeing new things but it wears me down eventually (and besides, there's little new things in Houma >..>).

I guess I'll go ahead and sign off now. Miles to go before I sleep and all that. Later, Sunshines!

msmoon: (Christmas Kitty)

Merry Christmas!! ...ok, so it’s not Christmas for everyone else, but it was for our family. I just finished uploading the pictures from the Ice Storm and our Christmas on MySpace and FaceBook. I figured I’d go ahead and post here with all the crazy quizzes I’ve collected for the season.

We had a time with Mom’s present, but that happened last night. For Christmas Mom got a whole new bedroom set. Since Mom was down with a migraine, we had to unpack her bed, her two night stands and her huge chester drawers...it took ages. Dad had spent the whole day with Pastor Sam, helping him to fix up his new house, so he didn’t get the furniture till...I dunno, maybe 5 or 6. So we started to assemble the bed and manoeuvre the other stuffs. It took us till around 10:30 to get it all done, because it wasn’t really...I dunno....there were difficulties -..-

So, Mom got her Christmas gift last night, and she loved it. She said it’s so pretty and so comfortable. So, we were a little tired this morning when we woke up. But we got up and ate some Tomato gravy and biscuits with some bacon. Was so good. It’s well past breakfast time, and I might just have seconds >..> Anyway, Aunt Carolyn got here, and Mom’s satellite TV has a channel that has holiday music, so we set it on that. Mom read the birth of Christ from the Bible, and then we commenced opening presents.

...I think Dad had the most...He got and update CD with a anchor for his GPS from Mom. He got 4 fancy shirts from Mom from Sadie’s in Houma (going out of business sales, yay!). He got some fleece PJ pants from me, and he got some micro plush sheets from me. They’re awesome, because they come with a fitted sheet, pillow cases and a top sheet. He’ll be warm now :D Aunt Carolyn had presents too! She got the Bible on cassette tape and a small radio to play them on from my parents. Of course, I had presents too. Mom and Dad got me a breakfast tray that has photos in it. Aunt Carolyn got me some bath stuffs and some lotion. Is nice. Of course, I’ve had my biggest Christmas present for quite some time, and I enjoy Makoto-san very much XD

And that was our Christmas so far. Mom’s cooking our dinner right now (ham, green been casserole and mashed potatoes /drools.), and when things settle down a bit, we’ll watch the Home Alone movies! But for now, we’re just straightening up the house, enjoying our gifts and talking.

I guess I’ll write later, Sunshines.

Discoveries

2008-May-05, Monday 02:11 pm
msmoon: (Gargoyles - Ooooo)

This weekend was all about coolness…and not so coolness. Friday, after the family photo thing at church, we headed to Wal-Mart for groceries. It wouldn’t have been overly expensive if Dad hadn’t insisted on buying me a new VCR right there. And not just any VCR, oh no! It had to be a DVD recorder + VCR. Now, we went home and hooked the thing up, and it works wonderfully. Except…well, I can’t tape anything off the TV. Now, there’s a set of those Red/White/Yellow cables that connects the TV to the VCR, but there’s another place where it can be hooked up to something else. I was thinking, maybe if I hooked that part up the TV it’d receive that signal...but either way I’m confused by it. I’ll have to tinker with it.

Uhhhh, oh yeah. Saturday, there was some awful weather that moved through. It knocked the power out around 8:45/9ish. It was awesome though. I slept in till…late. I think it was almost 11. But I got up and ate breakfast and got on Warcraft. Scamp was on so we manage to play a bit together. Carandole has this adorable rat that sniffs about and then plays dead ^..^ Tis cute.

Then I went next door to my parents place (I had a package) and Dad asked if I wanted to go to dinner/supper with them in town and we could go to Lowe’s and get the only parts he needs for my mail box. I said I’d love to if we could go by Target. I had decided to go ahead and buy that FLY Fusion pentop computer thingy.

So we ate and were joined by Aunt Batty. That was fun. We went to Target, and my dad ended up paying for the pen….which I’m grateful for, but it really did sorta surprise me. So, I got the FLY Fusion pen, a spare notebook and the journal (which I fully intend to use in conjunction with ruby_unicorn).

Not much happened Sunday. At least except that there’s another freakin’ WASP in my house! I told my dad and he said he’s spray today. It’s long over due.

Tonight, Mom and I are going to the 7:40 showing of Ironman (yayness!). I also intend to buy some tickets for Prince Caspian either when we leave or before the show. I’m sure my next entry will be all about my opinion of that.

...I can’t think of anything else to post….Later, Sunshines!

Harvest Moon

Working Weekend

2007-Sep-04, Tuesday 11:08 am
msmoon: (Obsessions)
Whoa...ok so, quite a bit of activity since I last posted. Friday afternoon...we worked a lot in the house. Dad said he’d laid all the trim out so that could paint it all. So, I primed and then painted all the trim that needed it...and aggravated my Syactic(sp?) nerve making it really hard to walk. Dad said that I would have to rest up Saturday because he didn’t want me over there if I was just going to be hurting myself more.

Saturday I was feeling terrible. My whole right leg and part of my right side was really killing me. So, I hobbled around the house for a while, trying to slowly put weight on my leg so that it would just adjust (or I would adjust to the pain, whichever). Mom and Dad stayed over at the house for quite a while, and I made myself useful by doing the laundry and brining them food and drinks.

Reiko called that afternoon/evening and asked if I’d mind hanging out with her for a little while. She said that her grandpa had died the day before and she was depressed and just wanted some company while she did chores and stuff. I didn’t mind since she drives me around and then drops me back off. Plus it’s nice to spend time with her when I can. She actually gave me my birthday/house warming preset. She said she couldn’t wait to give it to me. She got me Stardust...and the page is evidently not fully constructed yet. It’s the blue one on the end. She knows I collect them so when she was on vacation she saw this one and got it for me. Now isn’t that sweet? So, I decided to name her after Reiko so that I always remember where I got it. She had to take care of all her critters and clean up her room a bit. Milo’s cage needed to be cleaned out, her beta fish’s vase needed to be cleaned out, the litter box had to be changed and she wanted to show me her new snake. It’s a pink girl snake, which I assume will look great next to her red snake Mephisto. But we got the chance to talk a bit, and she just needed to keep busy so she wouldn’t be so depressed and she didn’t want to be by herself.

Sunday was Mom’s birthday. I had gotten her Wolfgang Puck 18 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set, Quigley Down Under, Rachael Ray 365: No Repeats, and Sterlng Silver Filigree Dragonfly Hook Earrings with a matching necklace…that doesn’t appear to be in stock anymore. I had put the Quigley Down Under DVD in a box with the Necklace & Earrings, and I placed the Rachel Ray book against the back of that box and wrapped both together. And I’d been telling her for a while that I had all her gifts taken care of for the year, so she was fairly excited to see what I’d gotten her. So, after breakfast I gave her the small gift that I’d wrapped all together. She opened it and loved everything. Then I pretended to get confused and went in my room and brought out the huge box of pots (which I probably should’ve gotten Dad to do, since it aggravated my back all over again). She really loved all her gifts and was in a great mood before we left for church. Se was bragging about it to everyone she could.

After church, we had dinner at Sicily’s, which I enjoy if only for the salad bar ^..^ ...and desert =..= Heh. But yeah, we were supposed to go to Outback, but there was such a long line that we decided to head over to Sicily’s with my adopted grandparents. I swear, I enjoy throwing a lot of crap in my salad and Sicily’s is the only place I know that has a huge bar just for that. Anyway, after that, we headed home to get the other car. Dad had to go to the nursing home because it was his Sunday to sing. Mom and I headed to Budget Cuts and I got a hair cut (that I’m not totally happy with, but it’s hair, it’ll grow on me). Then we went to Wal-Mart to shop for groceries...and I ended up buying the first season of Heroes...I couldn’t help myself. We got all our groceries and headed home. I ended up watching disc 1-4 Sunday night and I didn’t really get to bed till about 3 a.m. O..o

Monday...I think I slept till around 10. Dad woke me up and I ate breakfast, then I got ready and we headed over to the Nexus again. I painted all of the bathroom trim, which is the only trim in the house that is a different color. Then we realized that we needed to paint the trim around the doors and windows =..= I guess it was more like, I realized the white trim was still on the wall, and Dad realized he’d forgotten to tape off or take off that trim for me to paint. So, after I painted the bathroom trim, I put first coats on all the stair rails, the sides of the stairs and the upstairs rail. Dad had to take a break for lunch, and I figured I would too. We took a break for a while and then headed back. I put second coats on everything and Dad put the first coat on the beams after cleaning them. Then we went to town and looked at trim. I found some that’s partially decent. We ate at Rally’s that night which is one of my favorite places even though I never eat there.

Last night, I got up to disc 6 on Heroes and I started reading Writing Out the Storm. It’s a pretty good book so far, but I’m kinda getting tired of the “Don’t be afraid, just write” theme that keeps repeating in the four chapters that I did read. I’m still planning on reading it though, just to see if it gets better.

I have to say, this weekend without internet wasn’t too bad. It was more like an annoyance than a crisis. The only purpose I had for internet was buying stuff from Amazon (and other places), chatting (which I don’t do much of lately), e-mailing (which no e-mails me much lately), and gaming (which I really want to just quit). It did suck that I couldn’t check mail or anything, but I did that this morning and didn’t have any mail...no love for MM. Sad panda.

Oh well...I’ll go ahead and sign off. I’ll talk later (if/when I can), Sunshines.

Your Score: House Tully

45% Dominant, 72% Extroverted, 63% Trustworthy

Dutiful. Affable. Total doormats. The kindest and gentlest of the houses, you are of House Tully.

You are a submissive personality, meaning that ruling is not something that intrigues you. You posses an odd kind of wisdom in knowing that the throne has too many drawbacks; your interests are far more domestic. You are no threat to the ruling powers, but your strong loyalties to hearth and home make you too difficult to be bought--and if you can’t be bought, you’re usually destroyed.

You are also introverted. You don’t enjoy broadcasting your devices and ambitions to the entire world; instead, you prefer to confide in a close-knit support system of friends and family. You’re very talkative with those you trust, and you’re the type of person who will review plans endlessly. Trust from you must be earned, and you’re very cautious around new people. In Westeros, that’s probably a good thing.

Perhaps most notably, you are trustworthy. Once you are connected to someone, you will stick with them, come Hell or high water. Your loyalties run very deep, and you’re definitely not the type to run willy-nilly betraying friends and destroying alliances. Unfortunately, you lack both the physical strength and the cojones to stand up to those who do you wrong. To those seeking power, you’re an obstacle--but a lawn mower doesn’t fear the garden gnome. Lions, dragons, and krakens all eat fish like you for breakfast.

Representative characters include: Catelyn Stark, Edmure Tully, and Brynden "Blackfish" Tully

Similar Houses: Stark, Targaryen, and Tyrell

Opposite House: Greyjoy

When playing the game of thrones, you play it as best you can, even when your best isn’t good enough.

msmoon: (RVB - Caboose Toast)
Wow…what an eventful weekend. I think we did more than during the weekend than during the week. I have pictures up on FaceBook and my scrap book here of the whole bed fiasco. We had to go pick up my bed Saturday, but we got there at 9, and they weren't open. So Mom wanted to show me some dishes and things at Target that she thought I might like. Dad ended up buying me some uber-cool silverware that I love and a little coffee pot just for me ^.^ Hapyness. So, yeah, then we got my bed...and we ended up having to tavel back and forth to two 3 times for it =.= I’ll show you the album in a second.Let’s just say that it was trying, and we were all very tired after the whole hoopla was over, but I now have a very nice bed and I enjoy it very much ^.^ So that’s what matters. However, I must say, this is the first time that I've ever gotten something from Ashely's Furniture, and it will no doubt be the last.

Oh, another cool note to touch on. Mom went over to my Aunt Carolyn’s Sunday after lunch. But Dad wasn’t feeling good. So, he and I stayed home, ate ice creame and watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding. OMG, that was histericle. I never get tired of that show! And Dad and I laughed so much through the whole thing. And the fact that I was watching this chick flik with Dad, and he enjoyed it just as much as Mom and I, makes it so much funnier.

Oh, Scamp finally sent me the 4th chapter of her story. And since I got my new black print cartridge, I decided to reformat the Scamp Binder. So now, I have an index of the story followed immediately by the story, then I have a divider and her character descriptions, followed by another divider and her races. It looks all official and crap and I’m very pleased with it ^___^.

Other than all that, nothing much is going on...I love my new furniture. Things are tiring, but we still make them fun somehow. See ya’ll later, Sunshines.

You know, I never understood exactly what that phrase came from...I might have to look it up. So today’s a good day and a bad day all at once. Imagine that. Let’s look at the score board, shall we?

Pros -
+ Dad comes home
+ It’s the beginning of the weekend.
+ I get paid.

Cons -
- Scamp Goes home. Geek fest is officially over.
- Did not get a good night's sleep from constant thunder & tornado warnings
- My paycheck is virtually gone from spending money on gifts for others...

For some odd reason when Scamp visits, I want to play Warcraft more...why is that? Maybe her enthusiasm for it jumps on me or something. I ended up interacting with two people I didn't know, and I wasn't even rude ^.^ Go me.

On another good note, I got Mom’s Christmas present, Chibi’s Birthday Present (or Christmas…I’m still not sure yet), and even Reiko’s next Birthday gift. Go me. I plan on finishing everything else up next paycheck…God be with me till then =.= It’s not that I have so little to work with, it’s just that I’m obsessed with having that cushion in the bank….and I try to forget that I even have a savings unless I’m transferring funds to it. So, I have money, I just like to save it so that I don’t run out before I get more =.= S’complicated.

Well, last night Scamp and I cleaned everything out from under/around my bed, including the bed-side tables. That was interesting. I have pictures. This morning, my legs and hips are a little sore from moving those books too…I’ve been thinking that once I start exercising, I’ll start holding the books while I do squats, because those suckers are just as good as weights =.= I wanted to do a voice post with her, but in the end we were both so tired that I never got around to requesting it. But we had a lot of fun anyway. I need to send her the pictures of her character as soon as I get through with my chores at home tonight. I gotta vaccume and make my bed...then I’ll do that.

Well, I gotta be clocking back on. This has been your not-so-regulare check up. Later, sunshines.

You know...I’ve wanted to post all weekend about things, and I’ve been putting it off or just forgetting about it. Sad, no? This weekend was fun and sucked all at the same time. Funny when that happens. Bloody hell began Saturday morning early and it has been a very rough cycle so far. Reiko had called during the week, wanting to know if we could get together Sunday. So, of course, I put off straightening up my room till the weekend. So, I cleaned a bit Saturday, then Mom and I had to head to Thibodaux (tib ih dough, people. Say it with me ‘tib – ih –dough’). She’d bought something there, and even though she actually purchased it they didn’t give it to her =.= So, we’re both feeling like petrified crap on a stick, but we’re out getting the stuff we need. I remembered that I hadn’t wrapped Reiko’s presents, and I wanted to get some paper for that (just in case). I also stocked up on candy for the office (Milky Ways & Musketeers), and we bought a boatload of those fuzzy socks since it’s freezing out and they were $1 ^____^.

After we left that we were pretty hungry. So we stopped at Rally’s which we love but rarely go to for some odd reason. The burgers we got were inconsequential and forgettable, but the fries...we only just discovered that Rally’s has three different type of cheese fries. We tried the Bacon Cheddar Ranch fries…omg, you guys. I don’t know if it’s because I’m menstrual or what, but those were the best damn fries I’ve ever eaten! They were so good, I told Mom that I wanted to rush home and write an entire post just about those fries. Then again, we were both starving by that time...so yeah. Maybe that’s it.

I was gonna get on World of Warcraft and play with my Twin, but by that time it was late and she had to be at work. So I figured there was very little point. I did dabble around on AMOS and figured out that a program I have called PicPerk can convert the pictures I took from WoW into Jpegs, which was a real concern. I’ve got hundreds of pictures of my characters that I’ve wanted to share, but without the help of CorelDraw, there was very little I could do. After that, I watched a lot of the second season of the X Files. I still have mixed feelings about seeing Mulder in a Speedo...swimming or not, there are just some things that should not be done. Over the weekend I watched all the way up to disc 5 (there are 7 episode discs and 1 bonus). So, not too shabby.

Anyway. Sunday was probably the worst day for me. I woke up in incredible pain. Mom had a terrible headache and couldn’t find her headache medicine. Figures. So we both ended up hunkering down and skipping church. After straightening up a little more (making the bed look a tad more presentable and tucking Reiko’s now-wrapped presents away), Reiko called and informed me that she was getting sick. I told her I wasn’t feeling well either so we’d just have to cancel our meeting. I IMed my Twin and played some Warcraft on my new Blood Elf Warlock. We played for a while, but I started to feel bad (after a couple of hours) and logged off. Reiko then called and said she was bored out of her mind watching Puppy Bowl and asked if I could bring her Wolf’s Rain. So, I did. Borrowed Accepted and Scourge of Worlds from her...Scourge of Worlds was fun when I finally figured out what had to be done. It’s an interactive DVD, so you actually get to choose which path the character’s choose. It was interesting. After looking over Reiko’s menagery and trading DVDs, I went and got Mom and I something from Subway for supper. We watched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and then ...I don’t really remember, so I assume we went to bed =___=

I don’t feel quite as bad today as I did yesterday…that’s good. Not that I feel good, mind you…. I still feel like petrified crap on a beatin’ stick. Oh well. That’s all for now. Ja.

Harvest Moon

Life and Mists

msmoon: (MM - laughing)
Work has been helping me to get through every day life very well it seems. Without the internet at home, work is the only place where I can actually have my online life anymore. I’ve been able to check e-mails and have a few conversations through my FaceBook (thank God for FaceBook since no one really e-mails me that much). I’m very grateful that we’ll be serviced by Com Cast soon, but I still worry over poor AMOS being so slow and degratitated (if you’ve seen Little Women you’ll laugh at that). I’m fortunate to be blessed with coworkers that are as fun to be around as any whom I’d choose to hang out with. They may not all be like me, but none of us really condemn each other for that sin. Each new story is so fun and delightful, it’s as if I’m learning something new of myself when they tell me of their lives. So today, I have to bits of Lacey.

Lacey is my giddy, girly buddy at ISR. The two of us rant, ramble, babble and giggle on about the silliest of things. But there are many times when Lacey tells stories about her home life that make my sides hurt from laughter. Two cases in point for yesterday.

1) Lacey told us about something her son Trystin did over the weekend. She said that he told his dad that he was writing a letter ‘to the fairies’. Of course, the kid had me at ‘a letter to the fairies’. But it gets better. Evidently, Trystin had a cat named Milo some time ago. And this Milo went missing. So Trystin had thought up this idea to write a letter to the fairies and ask them if they would mind checking on Milo wherever he was. He wanted to tell Milo that he missed him very much and he hoped he was happy and not dead. Ok, now this is a kid that I could really get along with.

2) Secondly was the cake. Ok, so not only are we (evidently) throwing Lacey a party, but she’s gonna be having one for herself at home. So, her hubby, Justin, tells her to go ahead and order her own cookie cake because he’s gonna be on his motorbike so he can’t very well pick it up or anything. Of course, Lacy thinks this is kinda …’frou-frou’ but it’s not like there’s anything she can do about it. So, Lori and I hear this and we tell her, “You know what? Since you’re ordering the cake, you should put something like ‘All Hail Queen Lacey’ or ‘Happy Birthday Queen Lacey’ on it!” She loved the idea! So now she’s gonna have a cake at her party tomorrow (at home at least) that’ll be all ‘happy birthday Queen Lacey’!

What else is there to talk about…? Oh yes! I almost forgot. I watched The Mists of Avalon the other night...gotta say: didn’t love the whole mover over-all, but there were several interesting spots here and there. For one thing movies full of gloom, despair, agony, arranged loveless marriages, incest and other such things are not my cup of tea to start out with. Though I do like the way the movie showed the original Christian, Pagan and Catholic religions. Especially showing how the Catholic religion was a lot like mixing Druid and Christian religions. Maybe I haven’t grown up enough yet, but in any movie in which there are more than a handful of characters and only one or two live (and even then do not necessarily live happily) is not a movie in which the ends justify the means.

Each day that passes, I try to clean a bit more than the day before because I know that ComCast will be coming in here on the 14th and I really want my room to be at least partially decent...which is quite a feat, I can assure you. But, alas, I don’t seem to be making much of a dent. Aye, there aren’t pillows and books and blankets all over the floor anymore, but all the tables and everything look just as bad as they did before. The down-side of picking stuff up off of the floor is you have to put it somewhere...and that’s what tables and such are for right? I’ll really crack down on it tomorrow. For now though, I’m just too tired.

Oh...I’ve such a sinus headache. What with the weather’s constant change, I can’t seem to get inoculated. Last week were in the mid 50’s. Then Friday we were in the 40’s. Saturday saw the 50’s again, Sunday it was in the 60’s and now we’re in the 70’s! Honestly! And they wonder why people can’t seem to get well =_= Oh well.

That’ll be all for now. We’re about to have Lacey’s birthday lunch and then have her surprise cake. I brought my camera, so I’m hoping I’ll have pictures up on my FaceBook later. Ja!

Harvest Moon

Bow chika bow-wow

Beware, for I am: Accomplished Accomplished

It’s been such a busy weekend...Friday was a day that I just relaxed after coming home from work...because work was work and all. Talked to Lacy and she said I could get insurance if I went full time...all the time that is. /sigh But gotta have insurance, so there ya go. At least I’ll have more money though ^_^.

And there’s the Sloths’ Con. That was...fun. Once it finally got started. I went and bought Red vs. Blue season 4, and The Strangerhood from Game Stop. I figured we might be able to watch some of it. Then I fixed the lasagna, loaded up the car and headed over to Chibi’s. I got there around 12:10...and Reiko wasn’t there. She’d said she’d get there around 10...actually she told me she’d come over to my house around 10. So...I’d been kinda wondering if I’d heard her wrong, and she’d said she’d be going to Chibi’s around 10...which she’s been known to do. But anyway, I got there and we tried calling her. She’d just woken up. =___= We had that whole ‘it’s not my fault’ ‘the hell it ain’t’ conversation again. It goes a little like this...

MM: Reiko, it’s 12. I told you to be at Chibi’s at 12.
Reiko: You did?
MM: Yes.
Reiko: Well, I was out partying in New Orleans till 3 this morning!
MM: That’s no excuse, and neither is it our problem.
Reiko: yes it is!..an excuse.
MM: No it’s not! You’re 18 years old! You can set a frikkin’ alarm clock! I’m not here to be your nanny!
Reiko: I’ll be right over! I just gotta get dressed and pick up Ty!
MM: Whatever. *hangs up*
Chibi: So?
MM: She’ll be here in a couple of hours. -___-
Chibi: oh u___u

yeah. Then Reiko and Ty showed up and had lasagna and we watched The Breakfast Club...well sorta. Ty and Reiko were playing there little PSP thingies. They stopped periodically to wrestle, bite each other, and make jokes. Anyway. They left after that. Chibi and I watched The Divine Secret of the Ya Ya Sisterhood. I left Ghostbusters 1 & 2 and House Arrest.

Then I went home and watched The Strangerhood. .....it was all right. Not as good as Red vs. Blue, but ok. Then I went to bed. Woke up, went to church, got home and ate. Watched Red vs. Blue season 4, and then proceeded to type of those documents for my boss. Of course, I realized a little too late that I had the template on a floppy disk and my computer doesn’t have a floppy disk, and Mom’s doesn’t work -.- So I had to start from scratch and rebuild a template for the documents. Then I proceeded to type of 14 eight-page documents...which means, that while I did end up earning a good extra pay check, that whole assignment took too long. It was from like 1 – 5:30. Seriously. It usually doesn’t take me that long to finish a typing job. -.-

So, now I’m rewatching the Red vs. Blue season 4 dvd. Now I’m updating and stuff. I’ve also updated Chibi’s DVD List.

...and now I’m tired and I’m going to bed. G’night.
