Catching Up

2009-Apr-18, Saturday 04:30 pm
msmoon: (MsMoon's Crescent)

/sigh. Gosh I suck. No postage for way too long. It’s almost been a week >..> and I cannot have two quiz spams side by side.

Uhhh, I had to order that charger from Amazon to get Makoto up and working. I mean, I tried just holding the charger in place and hoping it'd charge but, no dice. So, I finally have my charger :D It came in and Makoto is back to 100%. Thank you, Amazon.com :)

So! Let's see....I should probably make a list of things to discuss since it's been almost a week. Alicia and I met Tuesday night at
Uncommon Grounds. I busted my bum to get what little I have of my original story typed up properly and put into a folder so she could take it and read it. So far, her only problem is that there's so little of it =..= I'm hoping that if we keep meeting regularly, that I'll find some motivation to write more :) Lord knows, my original needs all the help it can get.

Hey, Scamp? How much of my original did I actually send to you o..o? I'm wondering if I actually have more now or if I sent it all to you...

You know something else that's been bothering me? I have been swinging for about 3 weeks or so now, and it still hurts to do it most of the time. I thought you were supposed to exercise for a time, and then your body would adjust to that and it wouldn't hurt to exercise >..> I have never enjoyed exercise. It's really hard to make yourself do something when you don't enjoy it. I enjoy swinging, and that is the only reason I've managed to stick with that exercise routine. Mom and I do want to get, like, yoga mats and weights with DVDs, and get some sort of exercise routine going. I mean, I've switched entirely to drinking water now, and I feel great, but I've got to get moving more often....and as much as I hate it, that means cardio -..- God, but I do hate cardio.

You really don't know frustration until you have to move. Or when you have to unpack...that's frustrating too. Especially when you have no power or water in your house...and no money. That sucks. Every day, I've been taking boxes and stuff over to my trailer and just stacking some of those boxes. Mom and I went over there today and started unpacking the kitchen....we agreed that all the pots and pans and dishes were dirty and would need to be cleaned before use =..= We also went to Target yesterday, and I got everything I need for my spare bathroom. I've never had a spare bathroom, so it was like, "What can I do there?" I didn't want to over do anything, but I still wanted it to be nice. Oh, and Mom and I unpacked all my clothes and put it in my enormous closet :) That was fun. We did sorta agree that there's no point in unpacking books or DVDs (the main mass of my things really). I mean, till I get those book shelves, my books have no place to go, and till I get a DVD cabinet, my DVDs have no place to go so....yeah. Kinda don't want them spread out all over the place.

It's weird to move and unpack, because you feel almost like you're getting presents when you remember everything that starts coming out of boxes. And you get all nostalgic because you're like, "Oh! This box is full of my movies!" or "Wow! I'd forgotten I had that!" even. It's just strange...good, but strange. The down-side, of course, is when you pull something out of the box and it's broken ;_; quite a few things have taken damage actually.

I've been working on Mom's Mother's Day gift for a while now. Every time I get the chance to stay home alone, I take it. What I'm doing is, I'm scanning as many old photos as I can find onto my log in on her new computer. I'm hoping that I can get a jump drive and transfer them all over the day before Mother's Day, and that'll be her Mothers Day gift :D I'm sure she'll love it, because she has no idea I'm doing it and she absolutely loves surprises. And plus that's something she's really been wanting to do, you know? Safeguard all her memories and such. So, shhh, don't tell anyone. But I've been working like a mad woman to get as much done as possible. It's not easy when the photos are not dated, and most of them aren't >..> Still, it's good to have them safe :)

Oh, our Trailer dude who sold us the trailer and moved it for us and all, he said that during every move a trailer takes some damage. So, we're supposed to take note of the things that are messed up inside the trailer and he'll fix them for us. So far, this is what I have...

1. The screen door has some damage to it on the outside.
2. The siding around the door is coming off in one spot.
3. The front door will not stay closed unless the deadbolt is locked.
4. The outside light fell off...we still don't know why o..o.
5. The floor in the kitchen is messed up, bowing slightly.
6. The joint in the kitchen has come away from the wall.
7. The recessed lighting in the kitchen is not sitting right.
8. The laminent near the stove and on the floor near the dishwasher is crackling.

Considering the hills and thrills they endured coming here, that's really a small list of things :) Every time I go into my trailer, I'm happy. I like how it looks inside, and it's just bare bones, so I know I'm going to enjoy it a lot whenever I actually can move in and put my stuff everywhere.

I haven't heard anything from my Twin recently...which is weird, since I re-sent her the letter that I'd e-mailed to the wrong place -..-' Dad and I were talking, and he figured since she's close to Atlanta, we might just get a round-trip ticket for me and I fly out :) That'd be really awesome. Oddly enough, Reiko has been so lonely lately, when I told her I'd be near Atlanta, she wanted to know if she could come to the wedding o..o' She was like, "I'll bring a gift! That's all that matters, right? The guests need to bring gifts! Atlanta's only 4 hours from here! And I can see you!" ...yeah...

Oh, speaking of Reiko. Like I said, she's been really lonely lately. Oddly enough, she has very few friends in NC, and since the army wives she does know have very little in common with her, she's actually transformed into the 'quiet one' of the bunch. I know o..o weird. But, I've been thinking how much I'd love to go to an anime con (not this year, but maybe next depending), and
Animazement is right there in Raleigh. If we want to get together again (and if we actually have money to attend), I could meet up with her and we could go there :) That'd be fun! And Mecha Con was such a blast.... cons really are the best way to get together :D I think. I mean, the Gathering with my Twin and then Mecha Con with Reiko. Both of them were a blast, and more so because of the company than because of the con. The Con's just a great excuse to get together and be crazy :)

Of course, I started looking up conventions close to me. The easiest for me would be the
Arkansas Anime Festival...it looks pretty cheap for a con though (even if they're calling it a festival. It's $17 per day for adults who are pre-registered AND it's in Fayetteville... that's an hour and 40 minutes away (not to mention dirt cheap)! I mean, I know that there's also Kawa Kon (in Clayton, MO) and
Naka Kon (in Kansas City, Mo), but Fayetteville is just uber convenient.

....wouldn't it be awesome, if every couple of years my friends and I could just meet up at a con? I mean, we could take turns since we're all in different places, but each year one of us would have the con in our state/nearby, and we'd all just have a great excuse to go :3

...all that anime/friend talk being said...I really miss my Red vs. Blue =..= I wanted to buy
The Blood Gluch Chronicles after I'd given my individual DVDs to Reiko...but then the Rents told me I was moving so...yah.. And now! they have the new season, Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction, out....and it's totally effin' awesome :D I mean, I've seen it all on the web site, but I really do have to have that <..< eventually...it will be mine..

Meh....I've talked/typed enough...goodness, but did I ever type enough. I really can't think of anything more to say and...I'm wanting to relax a bit. I'll post again later, Sunshines :)

You Are Dusk

You are a naturally idealistic and creative person. You look forward to nights where everything is possible.

You spend most of your energy on play. Work is okay, but the true you emerges after the work day is done.

You're an offbeat type that doesn't like rules or schedules. Life's too short to waste at a desk in a cube.

Whether you spend your night socializing or working on side projects, you like that your time is yours.

Yaviel Isilmiel

msmoon: (SM - Baka)

Reiko came over yesterday. She was going to spend the night and give me my birthday present. I called her when I got home yesterday, and she said she was hungry. I told her I didn’t have any food and asked if she had any money. She said she had planned to take me to Zen as a Birthday treat. She ordered the rainbow roll (raw, ew) and I ordered the Tempura rolls (which, I gotta remember next time to tell them not to put eel sauce on the thing -..-). It was awesome. Then we went over to Victoria’s Secret in the mall, because she wanted to look at lingerie. After agreeing that the mall was too full of stupid gangster-wannabes and sluts, we came back to my place and watched movies.

I think...It was actually closer to 1 in the morning when I finally got to sleep. We didn’t get up till...it was around 8:55 this morning. We ate some cereal and watched The Soup, because we’d missed it Friday night. It comes on at 9pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday. Funny fact there. Anywayz! We thought about going to a movie – I wanted to see
Eagle Eye, and she wanted to see Quarantine (blegh). So, we compromised, and went to see Eagle Eye at 10:30, and then Quarantine at 1:25. Can I just say that Eagle Eye was awesome? I know, I’m biased because I wubs Shia LaBeouf. And yes, there were a few bad words yelled out in anger here and there, but it wasn’t too bad. And for all the goodness that was Eagle Eye....Quarantine was twice as bad. Once again, I’m probably biased, I does not like zombie movies, and this was. A different basis for it, but still a zombie movie. These zombies were super fast and strong and impervious to harm (unless their brains were bashed in) and had the terrible habit of jumping out at you and screaming/growling while trying to eat your face off. The plot basis of the movie was...interesting. But, the ending...well. Most zombie movies end badly, right? I was actually more relieved towards the end, because by that time I wanted everyone in the movie dead...or undead as it were...

We came back here and watched a bit of Red vs. Blue, but she had to leave. I gave her my Red vs. Blue DVDs as I’m hoping to get the
Box Set eventually. It’s really silly of me, but I keep going off to check my e-mail in hopes that Scamp has sent me that fan fic she was working on. We talked about it the other day and she said she made some progress on it. So of course, every time I sit down at the computer, I go and check my e-mail at five minutes intervals. I fail.

Now that I’ve spent too much money on iTunes downloads (great idea for present), I’m gonna go ahead and just chill. I don’t feel well. Later, Sunshines.

Red Vs. Blue again

I’ve had a little time to sit and stew since watching Chapter 16 of Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction. After having it blow my mind and staring in shock, I realized I was late for work. So, I’ve scampered off to work, snuck on to the site and have to talk it all out.

Everyone’s got tons of speculation. Seriously, 109 pages of comments...of course a lot of them are just the ‘zomg’ posts. It was a shocking episode, so I suppose that’s warranted.

Wish I knew more about the Greek Alphabet.. )

Where the hell are Tex, Tucker, Doc, and Donut? I miss them...well, Tucker, Doc, and Donut at least. Tex is cool when she’s there...but, she doesn’t always have to be there.

I suppose that’s all my muddled wonderings. At least everything I’m willing to ramble on about. Most all of it is just speculation of course, but I cannot wait to see how things unfold.

Dun dun DUUUNNNN!

msmoon: (Supernatural - Thursday Cometh)

Last night, after getting home from church, I checked my e-mail to find my cousin had commented on my last post informing me that there was now more to the Red Vs. Blue series….when did that happen? And why did no one tell me!?? I feel like I’ve missed out on something. So! I immediately head over to
Rooster Teeth to see what there was to see. There are 15 “chapters” of the new Red Vs. Blue: Reconstruction……. /zomgsquee! So, last night I watched 5…gotta pace myself or I’d be up all night. Weirdly enough it was like...like watching Lord of the Rings or Star Wars after you haven’t seen it in a really long time. Like, almost a “Ahhh…I remember this…” sense of contentment. Now, I REALLY want that box set, and I figure when I get it, I’ll just give the single DVDs I have to Reiko (she’s yet to see past the 3rd season). First though, I would like to get The Guild — mostly because I already have RvB, but also because the guild is cheaper =..= But, at some point, a few weeks after my birthday maybe, I’ll start on that plan ^..^

So, it’s Thursday! That’s always awesome because that means Supernatural. I cannot wait! After last week’s episode, I really wanna see where they’re going to take this. I must’ve watched and rewatched the episode five or six times, if only to answer some of my own questions. Yes, the half-nekkid girl in the room was Ruby – she was playing dumb. I dunno what happened to her since Lilith banished her to …wherever...but she’s seriously mellowed. Maybe having Sammy in the palm of her hand has given her a better attitude (I know I would have a better attitude if Sammy were in the palm of my hand). And Dean really has been touched by an angel! I cannot wait to see what type of ‘work’ is in store for Dean.

….tomorrow, G, Donna and I are all meeting at a local Sushi & Hibachi restaurant called Samurai Dragon after work. I’m pretty excited. I think I’ve been to Samurai Dragon all of once in my life, and I’m happy that I’m going with two ladies that actually know the place and want to go and enjoy the food. Plus, you know, any chance for good sushi/hibachi, right? Huh? Huuuh? Exactly! So, I have my boys tonight and sushi tomorrow! Is happy kitty =^..^=

I guess that’s all for now. I shall post later (after I recover from Scamp’s baleful glare and the episode of Supernatural). Later, Sunshines!

You Are 30% Normal About Sex

When it comes to sex, you're definitely a freak.

You're entirely abnormal. And you're probably quite wild.

Don't let your weird ways get your down. Embrace them!

…..thanks for clearing that up. I’m sure we’re all very relieved XD

Trying to be Girly today

2007-Aug-25, Saturday 11:03 pm
msmoon: (Trying to give a damn...)
I think, from now on, I should probably either post about my day, or about what’s going on in my brain...but not both. Because then I get giant post that’s all over the place. This one is gonna be about my day, because I actually did stuff...and because emotions are so all over the place right now that I really just don’t want to get into my emotions and explaining them.

So, my day. I woke up late, because I always do on a Saturday. But, when I was so awake that I couldn’t go back to sleep, I got up. Then I fixed a big breakfast for myself. I made two eggs over easy, two pieces of toast with butter and apple jelly, and some strops of bacon along with coffee. I ate breakfast slowly, debating over what I should do since, I didn’t really have anything set for the day. I called my Mom on the cell to see what was up with my Dad, since she’d left Thursday afternoon for Lafayette hoping to pick him up sometime Friday. She hadn’t slept well, because she expected him to call at any time. She said if I was bored, I could go to town and look around at stuff.

So, I decided that was probably the best idea, since it would kill quite a bit of time. And I needed to get gas in my car (I always run it to about a quarter of a quarter of a tank ^..~). I made a list of all the things that I get constantly, then I decided to add groceries to the list like dish washing detergent and 409 and such, then I thought I should add food to it too (so you can see it became a huge list). And I had this idea that I’d go to town and price stuff and see how much my grocery bills might be. Then I had this great idea to go to Pet Smart (where Reiko works) and price pet stuff!..The list is still here on the desk because I gave up after Pet Smart =..=’

So, forgetting the whole list, I headed out of PetSmart and over to Target. I looked at different furniture just because that’s something I enjoy. I also looked at their selection of glasses, because I had seen some that I really liked on Amazon, but I wanted to look around and make sure if there wasn’t anything else I liked better that would be cheaper. I didn’t find anything I liked, and I knew that I needed to at least get one new pair of shoes, so I looked at their shoes. Didn’t find anything that I liked, even though I took 30 minutes looking to make sure. I really don’t like shopping around with tons of people there though...I should shop on weekdays...but I consoled myself by browsing the movies. I got The Count of Monte Cristo and The Holiday and for just $10 too. That was great. I also go the first and second season of The Girls Next Door...one of my few guilty pleasures.

I then went to Wal-Mart and spent another 45 minutes looking at shoes...with no luck. By now, the only good thing was score more DVDs and I had sore feet and I was really tired of town. So, I trekked it over to Sam’s where I got some gas and then headed home. I was really getting hungry by now too, so it was just time to go home. Although, I was a little upset that I didn’t just get all the Star Wars movies…but I knew I’d go over my budget if I did. So. Sad panda. But…eventually.

Anyway, I started watching the first season of the Girls and started in on the second when Mom and Dad finally got home! So, I took a break to eat with them and give Dad a hug and all and we watched the DVD that Aunt Batty gave us with the pictures from their Colorado trip. But we didn’t watch much because Dad was so tired and all. And now it’s bed time...wich is just after shower time ^..^ I so cannot wait till the next season of Red Vs. Blue comes out.

Well, I guess that’s all for today. I tried to be a normal girl today and shop for shoes (that rawk) but I couldn’t pull it off…I think I’ll enjoy the DVDs more ^..^ Goodnight, Sunshines.

You prefer to live a fairly calm, relaxed life... with a few surprises thrown in.

You don't tend to get yourself worked up easily. You can roll with what life throws at you.

In relationships, you are steady and solid. You maintain a pretty broad perspective on what's going on.

That's not to say you can't get swept away. You're emotions run as deep as anyone else's.

Your life seems like it has been remarkably easy so far. But that's due to how you manage it.

You never stretch yourself too thinly, and you think out your decisions carefully.

Taking the time to enjoy each day is important to you, and you don't let your emotions rule you.

You stay the course and do what's right... knowing it will all work out in the end.

At your best, you are tolerant and understanding of other people's quirks.

You take "go with the flow" to the extreme. Even if you don't like where you're going.

At your worst, you repress your feelings and end up being a little tightly wound.

You definitely have some explosive emotions that occasionally come to the surface!

Harvest Moon

msmoon: (LJ)
Well, today was fun to start off, a tad on the miserable side towards the middle, and it ended fairly well all thing’s considering. My cousins (Scamp and her older brother Josh) came over this morning (oh yeah, they brought their parents with them too), and I showed Josh Warcarft *cough*warcrack*cough*. I really should see a doctor about that cough too... ^_^ Anyway. Yeah, after showing Josh a few videos on YouTube, I let him get on and play. He made an Orc Warrior, which I must confess is a tyle of character that I never play. Evenditly he’s suited to the big, brutish tank style. Which is really great, because we DoT dealers, Mages etc. really need someone like that around to absorb a foes blows….dude that almost sounded like poetic in some weird, geeky way =) Anyway!

I finally got the Brit boy’s package(s) to Scamp for her to add to her…uh…things she’s sending them O.o And I also got to give her the Red vs. Blue tapes that I made for her….which will go to Josh whenever she moves in with me ^.^ I’m not certain how, but they also managed to make off with a good deal of my anime collection….not that I mind really. I know how funny Scamp can be about the care and condition of such things (books, anime, oh hell, anything!). Besides, no one here is watching it. That reminds me, I really need to finish watching Rune Soldier. I bought the box set and I haven’t even watched it all! I guess that’ll come after I finish Lori’s X-Files. I swear, it’s going on two weeks that I have this, and I’ve yet to get through the sixth disc! I don’t know what’s been wrong with me lately, but I guess my attention has been a bit divided.Or just not there at all O.o But, yeah…anyway. I loaned them /thinks Slayers (the first season along with Next and Try), and Fruits Basket.

Mom had made a nice, big taco soup since they’d taken the trouble to come all the way over here hauling Aunt Lane/Conni’s chair. The adults talked (and ranted) while we camped out in my room and talked (and ranted ^.^). The taco soup was really good...I think the difference is in the Fritos...I’ve eaten it before without the Frito chips and it wasn’t one of my faves. But it is very easy to make, and it is warm and tastey. After some gaming, a bit of talking, and then wishing them well as they went on their way…I came down with a serious headache. It felt like a sinus head ache, so I can only assume it’s just my allergies. Yes, Spring has definatley sprung. I can feel it in my nose =_=

Other than watching a bit of X Files and laying around, I did nothing but feel the effects of the sinus/allergy medicine. Then mom poked her head in and asked if there were any other epsidoes of Bones that we could watch…and considering we’d only gotten the first disc watched, I said there was quite a few. So we got through the second disc today ^.^ And the evening ended really well.

I must say though...I’m afraid that I’m becoming a little obsessed with spending money on Amazon…or anywhere else really. Sure, I don’t do it when I don’t actually have money...but think about it. Friday, once I’d gotten paid and found out how much I made, I went to Amazon and bought The X-Men Trilogy (because even though I dispised the last one I still love the X-men), Robotech - The Shadow Chronicles, Howl's Moving Castle, Can't Take Me Home by P!nk, Don't Fear the Reaper: The Best of Blue Öyster Cult, and Numb/Encore by Linkin Park & Jay-Z (because Amazon stopped selling it or something)…it was like…I really just couldn’t help myself. I had done the math and figured what I’d have left over after tithes, savings and bills and then said “Yeah, I’ve got plenty left over.” So I spent some. /nod nod nod. I really should focus on not doing that for a very long time…

Other than that purchase…and my lingering headach…everything’s pretty ok. Oh yeah. There is that one thing…Mom and I were trying to move that chair that Scamp and Co. brought…and Mom tried to move it too soon and the wrong way and…well…right onto my right big toe. Yeah, the nail kind of cracked down the center to about half way down the length of the nail...and the edge around the nail has turned a different color. Trying to file that nail evenly was terrible. But! Other than that and my headache, I’m doing ok. And now, I’m really tired…so I’m gonna go ahead and close out now that I’ve written here and to Scamp. See you later, sunshines!

Whoa...ok, so last night…not the greatest. Better than the two before it but still not the greatest. Mom and I did end up going o Wal mart around 10 last night. It was actually pretty nice considering there was hardly anyone there at all. It was very un-nice because Mom had my list of things I wanted to buy...but she put it somewhere and we never found it -.- It was also un-nice because they didn’t have half the merchandise I thought they would. Honestly. They had one PS2 controller that looked maybe/alright...but even then, it wasn’t that appealing. In the end I decided to just get the controllers from Amazon. The order’s being processed now. But I think I’ll get those memory cards from Office Depot or something...if only because that’s where Amazon said they originated from and I have a $10 off any $50 purchase coupon from there O.o;

We got home and I took my pills for bed time. But I decided to try to hurry up and order those controllers. Anyone every try ordering something online when your computers freezing every second? Yeah. Not fun at all. I finally got to bed around 1. Then …I heard them...The scurrying…the scratching…the squeaking...Now…I like small rodents…but I don’t like them gnawing away at things in my attic. Luckily, I was so exhausted at this point that even their racket couldn’t prevent the inevitable.

Oh, and yesterday, I got Katamari Damacy in. It looks so kawaii. I also got two shirts that I ordered...I got the Red vs. Blue "That's right. I'm a Gay Robot" shirt and the " Chupathingy!" shirt :)

I’m hoping that the movies and such that I ordered and /crosses fingers the PS2 I ordered will come in today. I doubt that both will...but you never know right? I now have all of the gifts I wanted either ordered or here except for.../thinks 2. But I also know what those are gonna be so it’s easier.

Well...it’s freezing down here, so I really feel sorry for all you Yanks up north. Must be agony. I’m gonna go get another cup of coffee and see what Mom wants to do today...this computer’s driving me nuts =.= Peace out.

Harvest Moon

msmoon: (Yikes!)
Beware, for I am: Refreshed Refreshed

Ok, so today. Went to Chibi’s and knocked out a few more movies from the list. We watched the fourth season of Red vs. Blue, which was insanely funny. And we watched The Day After Tomorrow; also, insanely funny (at least, if you’re us it was). We watched the first episode of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon too...talk about funny. There was a lot of other insane stuff we watched that was hers (big surprise -_-), but I can’t remember their names...so yeah.

What was really funny was that right at the end of The Day After Tomorrow, the weather over here started getting really bad. And we’d gone through the whole movie with me saying, “They’re all gonna die.” And Chibi responding with, “Yup, they’re gonna die.” Me: “D-E-D, dead.” Chibi: “Uh huh. Dead.” And then we both look out the back window and Chibi looks at me and said, “We’re gonna die...” That was funny. And the weather was bad too, but I love bad weather. Unless it’s tornados. I don’t like tornados. Unless they’re digital...yeah, we’re all whores for digital tornadoes. /nod nod nod.

I have to remember to bring Sailor Moon – Sailor Stars the next time I go over. Though, I don’t know when that’ll be. Chibi gave me a ton of anime to watch. Then again, I think she has more anime than I do -.-

So, that was the day. I shall now go and watch said anime that Chibi loaned me. I will be giving my opinions of it as I watch it for the next few days (weeks?). Tootles.

PS: Oh yeah. I’ve got so many quiz results saved up that I’m never going to get to, that I think I’ve decided to start posting, like, 10 every Sunday or something. I hardly feel like posting on Sundays usually (because I never get anything done then -.-), so I might as well put the time to good use.

EDIT: oh yeah. I updated  MM's DataBase and added chapter 33 to the EQ Saga. Ya'll thougt I'd forgotten, didn't ya?

Beware, for I am: Drained Drained

Oh wow…work today was so tough. I got there around 9ish and after faxing maybe 3 things, I went straight into the hot room to file. Lacy joined me about 30 minutes in. We periodically came out for little breathers from the heat, and lunch breaks, but we never really got out of it till around 1. That’s when the mail (finally) came in. There were 69 charts in today’s mail. It took me till just after 4 to get them all sorted, labeled and logged...and that was with Lacy’s...help. Although, Lacy found MusicMatchbox not long after we sat down and we pretty much lost her to the tune. Man, that was hilarious.

Oh, and my shirts are in. The Soup one came in a few days ago and I just got the Red vs Blue one in today. At first, I thought that my Soup shirt didn't really fit, but after trying it on, I realized that it fit just right. It just makes it glaringly apparent that I have boobs. But, I'm female so I can do that. My Red vs Blue shirt is much more comfy. But I got a dude's shirt -.- Yeah. Sucks to be me. Anyway, here's some pics.

So, yaeh. I also put together some of my written stationary. So, let's see...I have my two 'fandom' t-shirts. I have money, and of course the stationary to write all my friends and tell them 'yo, got you a souvenere!' and such...What else should I be bringing? I know there's gotta be more...If anyone coments with 'clean underware' I'll so slash you with Tucker's big thing.

Oh, and my parents are gone...I can't remember if I mentioned that. They left yesterday morning to go to Texas. Dad's got some testing that he has to do for work and Mom just goes and relaxes at the hotel...she tends to do that whenever she can. Anyway, they're not coming back till Thursday night sometime...I was thinking of inviting Chibi to come over for an evening, but it'd have to be after 5 and I don't know if her mom would appreciate that. I still wanna watch Red vs Blue with her. And ask her what she thought of the other movies I left there and all.

I'm so tired. I think I might just try to turn in early tonight. Or at least make the attempt. For some odd reason, even when I take my pills early and all, I still can't seem to get to sleep till 11 or something. Just my luck. Oh well. 'Night.

Bow chika bow-wow

2006-Jul-30, Sunday 09:30 pm
msmoon: (RVB - Tucker Box)
Beware, for I am: Accomplished Accomplished

It’s been such a busy weekend...Friday was a day that I just relaxed after coming home from work...because work was work and all. Talked to Lacy and she said I could get insurance if I went full time...all the time that is. /sigh But gotta have insurance, so there ya go. At least I’ll have more money though ^_^.

And there’s the Sloths’ Con. That was...fun. Once it finally got started. I went and bought Red vs. Blue season 4, and The Strangerhood from Game Stop. I figured we might be able to watch some of it. Then I fixed the lasagna, loaded up the car and headed over to Chibi’s. I got there around 12:10...and Reiko wasn’t there. She’d said she’d get there around 10...actually she told me she’d come over to my house around 10. So...I’d been kinda wondering if I’d heard her wrong, and she’d said she’d be going to Chibi’s around 10...which she’s been known to do. But anyway, I got there and we tried calling her. She’d just woken up. =___= We had that whole ‘it’s not my fault’ ‘the hell it ain’t’ conversation again. It goes a little like this...

MM: Reiko, it’s 12. I told you to be at Chibi’s at 12.
Reiko: You did?
MM: Yes.
Reiko: Well, I was out partying in New Orleans till 3 this morning!
MM: That’s no excuse, and neither is it our problem.
Reiko: yes it is!..an excuse.
MM: No it’s not! You’re 18 years old! You can set a frikkin’ alarm clock! I’m not here to be your nanny!
Reiko: I’ll be right over! I just gotta get dressed and pick up Ty!
MM: Whatever. *hangs up*
Chibi: So?
MM: She’ll be here in a couple of hours. -___-
Chibi: oh u___u

yeah. Then Reiko and Ty showed up and had lasagna and we watched The Breakfast Club...well sorta. Ty and Reiko were playing there little PSP thingies. They stopped periodically to wrestle, bite each other, and make jokes. Anyway. They left after that. Chibi and I watched The Divine Secret of the Ya Ya Sisterhood. I left Ghostbusters 1 & 2 and House Arrest.

Then I went home and watched The Strangerhood. .....it was all right. Not as good as Red vs. Blue, but ok. Then I went to bed. Woke up, went to church, got home and ate. Watched Red vs. Blue season 4, and then proceeded to type of those documents for my boss. Of course, I realized a little too late that I had the template on a floppy disk and my computer doesn’t have a floppy disk, and Mom’s doesn’t work -.- So I had to start from scratch and rebuild a template for the documents. Then I proceeded to type of 14 eight-page documents...which means, that while I did end up earning a good extra pay check, that whole assignment took too long. It was from like 1 – 5:30. Seriously. It usually doesn’t take me that long to finish a typing job. -.-

So, now I’m rewatching the Red vs. Blue season 4 dvd. Now I’m updating and stuff. I’ve also updated Chibi’s DVD List.

...and now I’m tired and I’m going to bed. G’night.

Rambling on and on

Beware, for I am: Image hosted by Photobucket.com Contemplative

Wow, what a day. After I posted here...what did I do? Hm...I know I watched the second season of Gargoyles again. Oh yeah, I was making raspberry green tea and Reiko called. She has a new boy friend (wonder among wonders), but this one actually seems to have his act together. 24, has a good job, makes $500 a week. We’ll have to see how things go. Anyway. I started watching Gargoyles while we were ‘talking’...she was crunching on ice and talking about...what the hell was she talking about? At one point it was about a Mexican rapper or something...And somewhere in there my sexuality came into question since I kept saying that Fox was really hot. But, come on, her name is Fox for the love of pizza! They don’t call her Fox for nothing, ya know! Reiko said something about me being a lesbian, to which I responded with something like ‘Nuh-uh! I’m bi!’ and she’s like ‘Seriously?’ and I’m like, ‘No, dumbass.’ And she’s like ‘Oh, cuz sometimes…’ and I’m like, ‘Oh, you backstabbing, cockbite!’ and she laughed because it’s a red vs blue thing! I then calmly explained that I like guys, but even I can tell when a chika is hot. After all, I didn’t hear her complaining when I compliment her very nice ass.

Ok...so after that, I read some more in my new D&D book. I enjoy reading RPG books for the simple fact that they get my creative juices going. It makes me want to write stuff. And MM writing is a very happy MM. I think it’s one of the reasons I enjoy buying RPG books so much. I’ve got all these ideas for my different races inside my head, and I’m not sure how I should describe them, or how the science of the race will work. Seeing how other people work science on the other races gets my brain working in a scientific way, thus solving the problem. [personal profile] rattgirl sent me a guide to the Dark Sun RPG, which I will be eternally grateful for. They have some races and classes in there I’ve never even heard of before, which is a first for me. Usually when someone mentions Wizards I have an idea of what they are, but it sounds like they’re something completely different in Dark Sun. And the Half Elves seem way different from what I’m used to. I mean, I’ve mostly got all the EverQuest RPG books, and I’ve only recently started getting the D&D books...I only have the Draconomicon and now I have the Races of the Wild book. Other than that, I got nothin’ D&Dish. Which, in an average RPGers collection, is basically nothing. I swear, this has become a terrible obsession >___< Oh well, it’s helping me to develop my world and all the characters in it better. Either that, or it’s bogging me down, and I’m drowning in the fountain of too much information.

What else did I do today? Oh yeah, I updated Sloths Gone Mad. Nothing really huge, I just removed the frames...which, was really huge...for me, but not for anyone else. I’m getting ready to put up new stuff...the Orvil page along with the Color Bar page. I just have to tweak the graphics.

Watched Gilmore Girls rerun with Mom right after we watched Wife Swap or...Trading Spouses...I think it was Wife Swap. One comes on on Fridays and the other is Mondays. I just can’t keep them separate. Then we watched CSI: Miami. So glad that they aren’t rerunning anymore.

Speaking of not rerunning, can’t wait for Survivor this week. I used to have that show, but since I started taping it for the rents, it’s become a family tradition. We all watch Survivor together and talk about the craziness. And CSI should be interesting as well...then again they all are. I find myself even watching reruns...I know what’s gonna happen. I remember everything. But I still enjoy watching them. I’m pretty sure that’s some part of the OCD contract.

My hair is now dry...and it’s crinkly and curly and sticking out from my head with strange twists in it...The bad part about cutting my hair is that it makes it high maintenance. I told Mom that I’d love to be able to just shave my head. She said I could, but then I asked her what she think that’d do to my job prospects. We both agreed that it wouldn’t be a good career move considering my chosen profession.

Man...there are a lot of tags on this entry. Maybe I should shut up before it gets to be too long.

On that note, I’m hungry. I’m gonna go get something to eat and then take my pills. Goodnight.

My head is spinning O___o

God, today was...interesting.

Woke up around 9. Ate, had coffee, Mom went to town with Aunt Batty. I got ready to go to that Staffing place and Reiko called. She said she wanted to borrow Red vs. Blue and I said I didn’t mind. She even brought me my calendar that I’d ordered, lo, those many months ago. She came over and when she saw what I was wearing she was all, “Why are you dressed up?” so I told her I was going around and passing out resumes and all that. She left and I got on the road.

Unfortunately, I got to the place around 11:30 a.m. and they stop taking applications at 11...of course they start taking them again at 1:30. That is one seriously long lunch break. So, I took an application plus all the paperwork, and headed to town. I went to Burger King and filled out the applications there. Then I went around to Wal-Mart and Office Depot. I was checking to see their prices on computer microphones. I’ve always wanted to buy one for myself so that I could do recordings too, like on Sloths Gone Mad. Well, Wal-Mart had a desk microphone for $9.98, but Office Depot had a lapel/monitor microphone for $7.99. I expected Wal-Mart to have a better price, but Office Depot had better.

After that I headed back to the staffing place and had my interview. The nice lady there said they would test my skills in office and then they would start seeing if a position came in. So, my appointment to ‘test my skills’ is on Tuesday the 17th at 2:00 p.m. Which is good, ‘cause that gives me plenty of time to wake up and have lunch. She said that the test usually takes like 2 hours or something so that means I’ll need to eat a nice big lunch and perhaps I should go comfortable. I dunno. I think I might like it better if I go comfortable, but if I go dressed up and in make up it’ll give me an idea of what professional life would be like. God, I hate wearing make up. I mean, guys don’t wear it. And if charm is deceitful and beauty is vain then why bother? But then, everyone judges everyone else by appearance. Except me of course. I don’t give a damn either way.

Ok, so I got home, and had a sandwich. But since I had been nervous about it all, I wasn’t that hungry for lunch and I kinda skipped it. That was a bad idea. I should’ve made myself eat. Because after everything was over, I was starved and got super hungry. Then, I got a sinus headache and took some meds for that. Consequently, I was really really really spaced out at church tonight.

I will be posting my church entry in [profile] ruby_unicorn, because there are some things that I don’t want the whole world seeing that I wanna say.

Anyway. We picked up Fred from Aunt Batty. They’re going out of town this weekend, so we’ll be dog-sitting for them. We really don’t mind, ‘cause Fred is really low maintenance. He’s really cute too. Here’s a picture of the little guy.

Pic of Fred )

But anyway. I’m really tired from this crazy sinus medication. I’m gonna go shower and then it’ll probably be off to bed for me. Goodnight.

Anxiety strikes again

Yo. The things that happened today…:

1) Got surprised by Dad coming in early today.
2) Got Mom and Dad’s e-mail accounts onto my ‘Visitor’ name. They can now check their e-mails.
3) Set up Mom and Dad’s list of favorites.
4) Started Watching Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
5) Got interrupted by Reiko. She came over.
6) Showed Reiko my new computer. Let her play Achaea for a little while.
7) Went to a local snow ball stand with Reiko.
8) Started watching Red vs. Blue season 3 with Reiko
9) Read over the first book in the W Juliet manga series.
10) Noticed Reiko was asleep
11) Woke Reiko up
12) Came home after leaving Reiko at her house.

That’s the day. For some reason, Reiko cannot stop herself from falling asleep when we watch the third season of Red vs Blue…maybe it’s cause she’s always watching it on my bed…she has said that it’s very comfy. Oh well. None of this seems the same without Chibi…

I would just like to mention that I’ve gotten 2 fan mails in this week from the EQ Characters Stories, and it feels really good. However, having my stories and writings and ideas on a hard drive that I can’t even access..feels really really bad! It’s like, I feel like I can’t even continue writing because I can’t remember everything that I’ve written and I can’t access it either! I just keep reminding myself that I’ll be able to talk to Brian tomorrow. /sigh of relief

Other than that, I shall now eat, take pills and continue reading the mango Reiko so graciously loaned me till I become sleepy. Goodnight.

The Tiffany Show!

Mood: Image hosted by Photobucket.com Achey

Yo. So it’s late now, and I have to get up early, so I’m gonna try and make this as short as possible.

Work was the same; never terrible, but never wonderful either. Holly had me rearranging the discount tables where bolts of fabric are just laid and people have to rummage through them. The truth is those tables are supposed to be organized to a certain degree, but after people have rummaged through them so much, they get sloppy. Well, in my normal OCD fashion, I started throwing bolts this way and that and started from the bottom up, till I was satisfied. At the end of the night, Holly said ...well I don’t know if I should say exactly what she said as it was full of four letter words...and a few three letter words...that I only use when I feel I absolutely must. Anyway, she loved the table. She ranted about it all night long to anyone who knew what a table was supposed to look like.

We had a lot of fun laughing at Tiffany tonight. Tiffany’s a girl that works there, she’s a clerk like me. But she says things that just pop into her head a lot, and it’s so out of left field. We were talking about something and she was like,

“The other night I fell, and the door should have caught me but it didn’t. And I could see everyone looking at me about to laugh as I was slowly sliding backwards. And then I saw the ceiling and it was just like in the Matrix.” And we all cracked up! Because the way she said it, it sounded like she could see the ceiling and it was just like the ceiling in Matrix or something. It was hysterical. And then Andrew, another worker who’s also an English Major (it’s always fun working with him), makes up a poem about it out of no where. Something like...

The Door should have caught me
The Ceiling Didn’t care
I fell just like the Matrix
And the carpet was in my hair

Of course that made us crack up more. Andrew went on to say that whenever he’d have to write a paper, he’d call up Tiffany and say,

“What are you thinking right now?”
“Puppies smell funny!”

Then he said it’d be funny to have a class that was all about studying Tiffany. The funny thing was that Tiffany said, “I could probably pass that.” Then Andrew promptly started singing,

“Circles have one side! Triangles have three!” and everyone just couldn’t stand it from laughing so much.

Ok, so then we all got off, and Mom and Dad met me at Wally-World to look and see if they had the computer I wanted. The trouble is, no one knows how to find out what Video and Sound card the computers have and whether or not those products have integrated sound & video cards. It’s so frustrating. Dad says we might have to ‘break down’, as he puts it, and go to the actual Computer stores. I just hate to see us paying over $800 for a computer we could get a Wal-Mart, if the people there actually knew how to find out what their merchandise is!

Ok. So we’re home. It was funny here, ‘cause Dad turned on the TV to check on Wilma, and they were showing footage of the people in Florida chain-sawing their way through logs. And they zoomed in on one of the logs, and it had PUMA written on the side of it. So I giggled and said, “What in sam-hill is a puma?!” all Sarge-like, and my dad looks at me cluelessly and says, “Baby, a Puma’s a chain saw.” And that just made me crack up more.

And that’s all for tonight. My pills are kicking in and I’m tired and aching all over. Goodnight!

Yo. I didn’t really have a proper post for the last two days, but the world seems to have gone on without it, hasn’t it? Ah well. Yesterday seemed kinda boring with the exception of that quiz and getting the call from that other job. The lady who called me asked if we could meet that night, but I had to work 5-9. I told her I worked 5-9 today too, and that I was off Wednesday. She said she’d call me Wednesday. So that’s cool.

I found out that my boss and Andrew (another guy at work) are both big into anime, and Andrew even has all 3 seasons of Red vs. Blue. So we got to talking about anime and RvB and all that. It was actually fun. They both think that it’s amazing that I own Black&White 2, and they both think it sucks big time that I can’t play it. They keep talking about all the things I could do to build old Irene here up to code, but I’m thinking I’d rather just wait till Dad buys me the new computer. It’d be so much easier that way.

That’s something that keeps bugging me too. My Dad had to get me to ‘start looking’ for a computer when he knew he couldn’t get it for me. Now all I can think about, is the computer that I want...that I can’t have. Oh well...life sucks that way, I suppose.

So that’s that. Other than that, there’s not much to talk about. I work 5-9 tonight, I’m off tomorrow, I work 5-9 Thursday & Friday, and I work 4-9 Saturday. That’s my life for this week. I’ll post tomorrow about the whole ‘new job’ thing.

Otherwise...I’m gone. Later.
