OCD+ADD=OMG

I finally got the Brit boy’s package(s) to Scamp for her to add to her…uh…things she’s sending them O.o And I also got to give her the Red vs. Blue tapes that I made for her….which will go to Josh whenever she moves in with me ^.^ I’m not certain how, but they also managed to make off with a good deal of my anime collection….not that I mind really. I know how funny Scamp can be about the care and condition of such things (books, anime, oh hell, anything!). Besides, no one here is watching it. That reminds me, I really need to finish watching Rune Soldier. I bought the box set and I haven’t even watched it all! I guess that’ll come after I finish Lori’s X-Files. I swear, it’s going on two weeks that I have this, and I’ve yet to get through the sixth disc! I don’t know what’s been wrong with me lately, but I guess my attention has been a bit divided.Or just not there at all O.o But, yeah…anyway. I loaned them /thinks Slayers (the first season along with Next and Try), and Fruits Basket.

Mom had made a nice, big taco soup since they’d taken the trouble to come all the way over here hauling Aunt Lane/Conni’s chair. The adults talked (and ranted) while we camped out in my room and talked (and ranted ^.^). The taco soup was really good...I think the difference is in the Fritos...I’ve eaten it before without the Frito chips and it wasn’t one of my faves. But it is very easy to make, and it is warm and tastey. After some gaming, a bit of talking, and then wishing them well as they went on their way…I came down with a serious headache. It felt like a sinus head ache, so I can only assume it’s just my allergies. Yes, Spring has definatley sprung. I can feel it in my nose =_=

Other than watching a bit of X Files and laying around, I did nothing but feel the effects of the sinus/allergy medicine. Then mom poked her head in and asked if there were any other epsidoes of Bones that we could watch…and considering we’d only gotten the first disc watched, I said there was quite a few. So we got through the second disc today ^.^ And the evening ended really well.

I must say though...I’m afraid that I’m becoming a little obsessed with spending money on Amazon…or anywhere else really. Sure, I don’t do it when I don’t actually have money...but think about it. Friday, once I’d gotten paid and found out how much I made, I went to Amazon and bought The X-Men Trilogy (because even though I dispised the last one I still love the X-men), Robotech - The Shadow Chronicles, Howl's Moving Castle, Can't Take Me Home by P!nk, Don't Fear the Reaper: The Best of Blue Öyster Cult, and Numb/Encore by Linkin Park & Jay-Z (because Amazon stopped selling it or something)…it was like…I really just couldn’t help myself. I had done the math and figured what I’d have left over after tithes, savings and bills and then said “Yeah, I’ve got plenty left over.” So I spent some. /nod nod nod. I really should focus on not doing that for a very long time…

Other than that purchase…and my lingering headach…everything’s pretty ok. Oh yeah. There is that one thing…Mom and I were trying to move that chair that Scamp and Co. brought…and Mom tried to move it too soon and the wrong way and…well…right onto my right big toe. Yeah, the nail kind of cracked down the center to about half way down the length of the nail...and the edge around the nail has turned a different color. Trying to file that nail evenly was terrible. But! Other than that and my headache, I’m doing ok. And now, I’m really tired…so I’m gonna go ahead and close out now that I’ve written here and to Scamp. See you later, sunshines!

Yo. Well…today made me feel terrible about myself. I did nothing today. At least nothing that really denotes merit. I didn’t leave the house…I barely left my room. Why? Because I don’t have to! Such a looser.

Anyway, here’s basically my day in a nutshell.

1) Woke up around 10ish.
2) Ate breakfast while ripping tracks off my music cds with the Musicmatch Jukebox.
3) Completely updated my web page favorites. That is done.
4) Haven’t finished copying tracks from CDs yet, but I do have a total of 530 songs now.
5) Watched Slayers Next
6) Rewatched Threshold and shuddered and cringed all over again.
7) Made a small lasagna for myself.
8) took a shower.

And that is the sum of my day. Nothing huge. The only time I poked my head out of the door was when our renter came over to tell me he’d have the rent money Monday. Our token response is that as long as it’s before the 10th we don’t care.

Oh yeah. I have a nice little collection of original Disney sound tracks. I don’t know why exactly (maybe it’s because I love music so much), but when I was little, I saved up allowance money and bought soundtracks. I now have The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Rhythm of the Pride lands (a album by Lebo M inspired by the Lion King), The Lion King Broadway soundtrack, Anastasia, Hercules, Quest for Camelot, Mulan, Return to Pride Rock, The Prince of Egypt, Tarzan, Treasure Planet, and The Road to El Dorado…and that’s not counting the five Classic Disney Collections that each have 25 songs from various Disney movies. Wait a sec…is Brother Bear a Disney and Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron Disney too? I don’t know off the top of my head, but if they are, add those to the pile too…You know, I was going somewhere with this, and I’ve totally forgotten what I was gonna say! Hmm…it might’ve been my idea to take the songs at the end that are done by professional singers and put them on my own CD…that might’ve been it. Either way, I do know that I wanted to mention this obsession, so here it is.

Ok, well, church is early tomorrow, and I’ll have to get up around 6:30 a.m. So I’ll be turning in early tonight (I hope). Goodnight!

Yo. Since today I’ll be closing at work and I’ve no idea what that’s like, I figured I’d post now. I doubt very seriously that I’ll want to post tonight, that’s for sure. But I’ll probably post tomorrow before I head out to work again to relate what the Hancock’s closing experience is like.

This morning, I started out eating biscuits and white gravy for breakfast. Mom and Dad had gone to town to shop for a new lawn mower as our current one keeps eating up belts. Deja vu. For some reason this family buys mowers that start out wonderfully, but end up eating belts like there’s no tomorrow. It’s gotten to such a bad thing that we can’t actually mow the lawn when we want to.

So anyway. I watched last night’s episode of Ghost Hunters that I’d taped. It was ok. But kinda disappointing. They never catch concrete stuff on video or audio so they can never actually prove hauntings. Oh well.

Then I got on here and checked e-mail and all that. I visited Black&White 2’s section on the Game Spot web site. They had a review of it and a bunch of new screen caps. So I was checking that out most of the morning. Then I went over to Amazon and checked the status of my package which should come in today. It’s in Jackson MS...so there’s some chance of it getting here, but I doubt it. In a way I would rather it come in tomorrow anyway, because if it comes in today, I’ll be agonizing over wanting to play it and not being able to. But if it comes in while I’m at work tomorrow, I’ll just be able to wake up Saturday and play.

Speaking of Amazon, after looking through my wish list, I’ve realized that I really need to buy the rest of Slayers (Next & Try). Because they actually only have them new and used, and there’s only 11 of Try left. So, I shall try to place an order for that soon...but I’m not sure when. How weird would it be if I got Try before Next? I mean, I love Next as much as I love Try, but I could still get Next whenever I wanted to...I’d just really rather get them both at the same time. /shrug.

Well, I need to go and heat up my food. I’m getting hungry...I also need to finish up the clothes that are washing and drying. Then at 1:30 I’ll be leaving for work...I might leave later and buy some food for tomorrow...then again I could just do that tomorrow /rolls eyes.
