Cracking the Nest Egg

Yo. Yesterday was...nothing special, really. I was just entirely too tired to write by the time I had gotten home. I found out yesterday that I work every day this coming week up till Thursday (Save for Sunday of course). So, that doctor’s appointment I made is gonna have to be bumped back.

Here’s the deal...I used to see Dr. Kelly who works in New Orleans. Well, not only is his office unreachable, but he also retired. So, I’m completely and totally out of birth control...and that bothers me. So I called the last yutz who was my gyno, and they won’t give me anything till I go through the torturous session they call a ‘check-up’. Then they’ll prescribe something. So, I called them and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at 11, but I wasn’t able to talk to Mr. D in time before the schedules came out. So, now I have to call the doctor’s office back and reschedule. What a pain.

In other, more positive news, I finally purchased Slayers Next and Slayers Try. The lowest (and best) New&Used price from Amazon.com was like, $18 and some change, and I couldn’t really pass that up...especially since they only had 13 left of Try. God, I can’t wait till I get it...though I can’t imagine it’ll be any time soon. Though, I did order both things from the same person, so there’s hope in that area. Although that does remind me...I still haven’t gotten the other DVD I ordered off of Ebay...The Alice in Wonderland/Looking Glass thing hasn’t come in at all. I’m wondering if I should be worried or not.

Oh, I sent an e-mail to the WB the other day. I was inquiring about Invasion America and how long it might be (when of if) they would put it on DVD.

Anyway...Dad gave me these things that he printed out from the rig...things he wants me to ‘look up’ on the internet. He has a friend on the rig who needs to buy these things, but they can’t ship them to Mexico (where the man lives), so my Dad tries to buy them and then brings them on the rig. It’s all stuff for his wife, who wants to go into business as a manicurist. Unfortunately, the only place I could find them is Ebay, and even then the selection is miniscule at best. I’ll just have to keep at it I suppose./shrug.

Oh, loved last night’s episode of Threshold. I like ‘the three stooges’ of the show more than I actually like the show. I find myself eager to see and hear their reactions to things as opposed to the things that are happening. Although, the alien mutated cat was a new, cool element. I certainly hope CBS keeps this show. It was be really terrible to start enjoying it only for it to be thrown out. Oh well.

I guess that’s all for now. I’m gonna go eat something and then watch more of Sailor Moon Super. Later.
