....anyway. After a nice Sunday School concerning the last supper, I went upstairs to the sound booth. Alicia did not show, and I assume that means she was in too much pain with her knee to make it. I hope she feels better soon....but, I had asked the pastor if we could lower the sound board, because the desk that it’s on is up on pillars. Today was my first day sitting in an actual chair as opposed to a stool, working on the sound board. And aside from one of the chorus guys programming the wrong song into the worship...everything went ok. The pastor spoke of the commandment, Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness/ A.K.A. don’t lie. He went a little further than that though. He said that it means more than just telling falsehoods, but also to be honest in every area of our lives....Good advice to live by...too bad there’s so many sensitive people in this world who say they want your honest opinion of something and then get offended.
There was a spaghetti lunch after church which was a fund raiser for our youth group. The whole church pretty much turned out to support them and give them money (plus, you gotta eat, right). I sat between Mrs. Carolyn (not to be confused with either of my Aunt Carolyns >..> too many Carolyns!) and the pastor. I leaned over to her and said, “You know what they say, keep your friends close and..” and the past slide closer to me and then forked my buttered bread ^..^ He called up to the servers and asked if they’d bring him a piece of bread and then gave that piece to me, but he accidentally dropped his XD!!! Twas funny.
Unfortunately, the noise and the bright lights got to me, I think. My stomach started pitching and rolling and just being uneasy and now I feel like I might be coming down with a migraine =..= I’ve taken some medicine and I’m gonna lay down in my nice, dark room...so if you don’t hear from me till tomorrow and I start asking what I’ve been doing, don’t be worried :)

Hurting and Frustrated
Small update. For some odd reason, my ears deicided to swell and close up. At least, that’s what I think is happening. They’re extremely sensitive to touch, or I should say that they were. Now, they just hurt. It’s like when you get stung by a wasp and the spot swells up. The sensation in my ears is like when you would press against the spot where you got stung. Only, before about an hour ago, it was only my right ear that was swollen, and the left was merely hurting. Also, it feels like where my jaw hinges is soar...Maybe my glands are swollen or something. It could also be sinuses, because they’ve been driving me crazy. We’re gonna see if there are any doctor’s offices open tomorrow and if not we’ll try and schedule for the week some time. I hope this goes away without incident...but it feels like it’s something inside the ear instead of just an ordinary blockage, so there’s no use taking chances.
I shall now try to ignore the tense pain going through my head. Goodnight T_T

Accomplished
It’s been such a busy weekend...Friday was a day that I just relaxed after coming home from work...because work was work and all. Talked to Lacy and she said I could get insurance if I went full time...all the time that is. /sigh But gotta have insurance, so there ya go. At least I’ll have more money though ^_^.
And there’s the Sloths’ Con. That was...fun. Once it finally got started. I went and bought Red vs. Blue season 4, and The Strangerhood from Game Stop. I figured we might be able to watch some of it. Then I fixed the lasagna, loaded up the car and headed over to Chibi’s. I got there around 12:10...and Reiko wasn’t there. She’d said she’d get there around 10...actually she told me she’d come over to my house around 10. So...I’d been kinda wondering if I’d heard her wrong, and she’d said she’d be going to Chibi’s around 10...which she’s been known to do. But anyway, I got there and we tried calling her. She’d just woken up. =___= We had that whole ‘it’s not my fault’ ‘the hell it ain’t’ conversation again. It goes a little like this...
MM: Reiko, it’s 12. I told you to be at Chibi’s at 12.
Reiko: You did?
MM: Yes.
Reiko: Well, I was out partying in New Orleans till 3 this morning!
MM: That’s no excuse, and neither is it our problem.
Reiko: yes it is!..an excuse.
MM: No it’s not! You’re 18 years old! You can set a frikkin’ alarm clock! I’m not here to be your nanny!
Reiko: I’ll be right over! I just gotta get dressed and pick up Ty!

yeah. Then Reiko and Ty showed up and had lasagna and we watched The Breakfast Club...well sorta. Ty and Reiko were playing there little PSP thingies. They stopped periodically to wrestle, bite each other, and make jokes. Anyway. They left after that. Chibi and I watched The Divine Secret of the Ya Ya Sisterhood. I left Ghostbusters 1 & 2 and House Arrest.
Then I went home and watched The Strangerhood. .....it was all right. Not as good as Red vs. Blue, but ok. Then I went to bed. Woke up, went to church, got home and ate. Watched Red vs. Blue season 4, and then proceeded to type of those documents for my boss. Of course, I realized a little too late that I had the template on a floppy disk and my computer doesn’t have a floppy disk, and Mom’s doesn’t work -.- So I had to start from scratch and rebuild a template for the documents. Then I proceeded to type of 14 eight-page documents...which means, that while I did end up earning a good extra pay check, that whole assignment took too long. It was from like 1 – 5:30. Seriously. It usually doesn’t take me that long to finish a typing job. -.-
So, now I’m rewatching the Red vs. Blue season 4 dvd. Now I’m updating and stuff. I’ve also updated Chibi’s DVD List.
...and now I’m tired and I’m going to bed. G’night.

Grateful
Wow. So today’s Father’s day. Happy D Day to all you Dads out there, btw. I sent my dad an e-mail telling him how proud I was to have him and how grateful. That pretty much sums it up. I have friends that don’t have great relationships with their parents, and I’ve gotta say, I am so blessed. My parents and I get along so well, we enjoy one another’s company (most of the time ^_^), we have different opinions about things (like whether or not having a fan on in a room actually make that room cooler ¬_¬), but overall, we not only love each other we like each other. And that’s a comfort many people just don’t have.
Speaking of how much I ‘enjoy’ my parents, the other day when I came home from work with that migraine, my parents had a surprise for me. Usually I don’t like surprises very much...but that’s on account of how sometimes a surprise involves me somehow being social, and I ain’t ‘zactly the social butterfly. But this was a nice one. They got me the Magic Bullet. You know that blender they’ve been advertising for ages now? I had only been wanting it for a year or so, and Mom said she and Dad were driving and she told him how I wanted it and they could get it at Walgreen’s and he was like ‘Let’s go.’ I was tickled pink. It comes with it’s own cook book right, so there’s all these recipes about how to make chicken salad sandwiches and soups and artichoke dip and of course the cappuccino drinks alone are enough for me. There is a whole frozen drinks section, but I don’t’ like to drink so I figure I can just make myself virgin drinks and enjoy the fruit and such ^_^
The last couple of days haven’t been my best. I’ve kinda been giving myself grief because of my stories. I mean, I have the EQ Saga, which is my Ever Quest fan fiction; and then I have Different from Me, which is my X-men Movie fan fiction and I just don’t feel like I’m putting enough time into either of them. But I’m too tired to do anything about it. Or when I am awake, I don’t feel very creative and can’t write. It’s the darndest thing. Quite a conundrum.
Reiko said she’d be coming back today...said she’s going back to Kansas though. I really don’t know what to think of it anymore. But I’ve come to the conclusion that it doesn’t really matter what I think anymore. I doubt that she honestly cares. It’s funny, ‘cause her mom says that I’m a good role-model for her and everything...I’m just a bit more stable and down-to-earth than her other friends...well, Chibi notwithstanding of course. I don’t feel the slightest bit qualified to be someone’s role-model. There are times I don’t feel very much like a good person...but I do try...I suppose that’s what counts.
I think I’m gonna go and watch some more of Chibi’s Firefly...before she comes back and takes it away. Gotta memorize it while I can, na no da. Goodnight everyone.

Today’s been kinda weird. I woke up at like 3:45 this morning and I couldn’t get back to sleep. As a result I was so very very very tired through the whole day. After Mom and I got back from church/lunch, I went straight to bed, fell asleep right away (it must’ve been around 11:30) and I didn’t wake up till 6:45. I was all like O_O;...so, yeah.
I did manage to buy Reiko her graduation present, but I don’t know if it’ll get here in time. I was gonna make her something, but I thought buying something might maker her happier...besides the only thing I could make is t-shirts and pillows and she has enough of those.
I went through my friends list, because I recently added a lot of people to it...then I forgot why I added them. So I went around trying to coment saying “Hey. I added you to my FList because I’m a looser and I thought you were cool. That is all.” ...Or something like that. But now the meds are kicking in, so I can’t finish with all of the people I added. Today’s just been weird =.= ...that’s all I got. Later.

Ok, so this morning got up, went to church, Bro. Gary Sap was there. He used to be the director for the LA youth conventions...I remember when we made him shave him shave his head...Man...teens are so easily amused.
Anyway. After coming home and eating, I worked a bit on the web site. Mostly just the Written Word section. I’ve been making a table for my main content to go in and then having a background image inside that table. Then I’ve been putting the chapters in a white table and having a black background. Well, I decided to actually make a few backgrounds for the EQ Saga that’d go instead of the drab old black background. Then it got to be like, 30+ backgrounds /rolls eyes. So then I went and got some X-men backgrounds from the X3 web site, and I decided to use those for the Different from Me chapters. So that sections is all but done. No more worky on that section. I think the only thing I really have left to do is order the movies, tv, anime, and toons lists and give summaries of why I liked certain things, and the whole links section needs serious work. I’ve almost got Toons and Anime done. Gargoyles has been done as well. So, really all I have to is TV and Movies. Movies in itself will be huge because I have such a huge list of movies that I’ve seen/want/like/hate etc. Obsessive? I think so.
So then...I vegged out a bit. You know...just laid in bed for a long time thinking about where I could go with fics and other such stuff. And just thought, you know? I like to just think with no particular goal in mind from time to time.
Then I gave mom a pedicure because they’ll be leaving tomorrow, and I can’t very well send her out without giving her the professional toe treatment ^__^. Oh, and Reiko came over just as I was finishing up. She asked my Dad if he wanted her to do his toe nails, and he said, “Sure, let me go and clean them.” And he went in the other room and got the toe-nail that had fallen off when we went to Toad Suck to visit my cousins =__= Strange sense of humor runs in this family, na no da. I bet you might get pretty grossed out by that. You’d probably prefer that I just stop right there, because things just couldn’t get weirder, right?

Then Reiko got on her MySpace and I showed her something that I’d only discovered about an hour before she got there. I saw the cutest little hamham (hamster) video on there, and when I went to the person’s page I found that it was a page for the hamster, albeit organized by the hamster’s owner. I then stumbled upon the S. S. H.. Apparently it’s a MySpace community just for rodents...Hamster, chinchillas, gerbils, etc. Now, while it did gain me two new spots on my MySpace friend’s list...I must say I find it a bit...interesting. I mean...these people have either made their pet the main character on their MySpace or they’ve just made a whole MySpace page for their pet...interesting. That’s all I have to say about that. As a result of these people and their overwhelmingly cute pets, I now cannot get the Hamester Dance remix song out of my head...and I'm no longer certain that I want to.
Aw, cripes! I really have to get Reiko to show me that button thing again. It was histericle. But anyway. Shower’s taken, pills are kicking in, and I’m getting up early to see the rents off on their grand adventure to Arkansas. Goodnight.
