My Question to You the Viewer: What electronic device are you majorly dependant on?
Yeah, I keep meaning to write a blog entry and then...I keep getting distracted or not caring or having something else to do...hate that. And for some odd reason, my Twitter posts haven't been posting <..< hm.
So...what’s new? Well. Paid for tuition at school. Never thought I’d spend so much money on something that wasn’t an electronic o..o’
I kid you not, I just started typing this and then immediately got distracted -..-
Anyway! Yeah...paid for tuition.
Also, my laptop, Makoto? Yeah, it’s sort of gone down for the count. It kept shutting itself off for no reason. I assumed it was that it had somehow over heated and just needed to cool of...but then, the other day, it shut down and started making this very weird buzzing noise in a repetitive almost beep-beep-beep- fashion -..- Bub seems to think it may just be that the fan in it has broken and it’s not turning on until that’s fixed. I’m hoping that he’s right...and that it isn’t too much to actually fix it. We both laughed about the irony. Just about to start school next month and the laptop dies. And I am very unwilling to actually bring it in to be fixed until I’ve bought the books I’ll need for this semester. And no one seems to know what books I’ll need or when I’ll be told what books I’ll need. I’m hoping that is what orientation on the 10th is for.
Oh yeah! Bub is visiting us again. He just moved into a new apartment, but he has literally nothing to put in it as he’s been rooming in a single room no bigger than the size of my guest bedroom. So he came over to stock up. Luckily, Contact was on my Netflix queue, and we just got through watching it. A thoroughly engaging movie if ever there was one. I absolutely loved it :)
Also, I joined a group on FaceBook called Make a REAL “Gargoyles” movie, Disney!. They say that Disney is looking at making a live action Gargoyles movie...but isn’t basing it at all in or from the old show. So, they’ve given out work addresses and asked fans to write in, with a polite tone, notifying the higher ups on the projects that the original show is what we love. I fully believe this, so I have written up two letters to go to both of the addresses they’ve given us. I really hope they listen to us about this too. It wasn’t too long ago that The Last Airbender disappointed its fan base so horribly, and a few people had mentioned that it was kind of why they were glad no one had tried that with Gargoyles. Kind of ironic really. If they do move ahead with this project, I really hope they realize the gold mine they’ve been sitting on and take cues from the fans.
That’s really all that’s going on...I still haven’t filmed anything new. I really just haven’t been able to force myself to do so. But, maybe I’ll get around to it later on. I did do 4 videos all in one week, so that should buy me some time...least-ways, that’s my opinion of it all.
Well, it’s pretty late and I have to wake up early for church tomorrow. I’ll write later.

I’ve mentioned it to a few people (2 people to be precise)...and they didn’t seem overly adverse to the idea. I mean, I made myself a You Tube account and all, but I had been mulling over the idea for quite a while. The problem is that I’ve really been thinking about it. I mean, if I spend this money on it, then I want to use it and all. So...I thought, ‘what do most people with a web cam…do?’ For the most part, they either vlog, goof off, or specialize in something. I really…don’t know much about doing any of those. I tweet as means of blogging lately, I dunno if goofing off on webcam, while I’m all alone in my house would be enjoyable, and God knows I specialize in nothing (nata, zip, bubkis).
But I can talk about things that I love. My fandoms are vast and varied. It would be very easy for me to go on about them. And who knows, it might be enjoyable to talk about what I love and why I love it :) So, if ever that dream of getting a webcam does actually come through, at least I have an idea of what I could talk about. Either way, I do think it’d be a fun way for my friends (now separated by vast distance) to see me and my incorrigible self :D So it might be worth having...
Of course, I have to fix this on-again-off-again internet here. Seriously. I had no internet on AMOS for months and then, it’s on…but not all the time. Right now it says the signal strength is good, but that doesn’t mean it won’t go any time. Whenever we actually get around to taking Mako into the shop, I’m going to have to ask about repeaters or whatever it takes to actually get this working.
In Totally Unrelated News, I just discovered WoW Radio... and I’ve subscribed to the pod cast of ‘But Wait! There’s Lore!’ which, to my understanding, goes through all the lore in detail :) Not that I need an extra excuse to nerd out, but I really do live for this stuff.
…Yeah. I got nothing else really. I’m gonna check on my downloads and maybe leave AMOS on to make sure they get downloaded and all. But I’m calling it a night. TTYL, Sunshines :)

Alas, Mako-kun still isn’t working right. So I’m on AMOS, and despite a few hiccups, it’s doing wonderfully...But then Mom called me... she had some shrimp, avocado and cucumber, and she wanted sushi. So I got out my seaweed and sushi rice along with the Sushi Magic kit and we tried to make some sushi. We sautéed the shrimp in Cajun seasoning, garlic and then cooked them in butter…the shrimp alone were to die for. Now… I’m gonna go ahead and be honest here. Our sushi wasn’t much to look at…but it tasted freakin’ uber. I found that the seaweed was too small to really roll the sushi on the Sushi magic thingy the right way...and it may be weird, but I did a better job rolling it by hand. We’ve also figured out that it’s best to buy a bunch of Annie Chung’s sushi rice as opposed to just one packet. The seaweed comes a dime a dozen, but the rice? Not so.
After hanging with Mom for a while and watching TV (OMG, how could Laura not win America’s Next Top Model?), I started hurting and just came home. Since then...I’ve been formatting and printing out WoW fics -..- Getting a headache here too. I got most of them printed off really!...but there’s still 6 files to go =..= A part of me says to put it off, but I know I’ll be feeling worse tomorrow so...I dunno. I want to get it all over with. I guess I’ll continue…at least for a little while.
