Not to put a dampener on anyone’s celebration, but good God, people...must you really impersonate cannon fire every time there’s an all-night celebration? Really? Somehow, I feel a kinship with the beach at Normandy...

Ok...no reason to make this all sour-grapes. Today was not one of my better days. Pretty much all morning and most of the afternoon I spent not feeling well at all. I tried taking that Emergen-C stuff, and it really didn’t help that much. But we left Grandmere’s around 12 something for Raising Cane’s, where we met my cousin Angel. After lunch with her, we headed to Wal-Mart for a thing or two we needed, then to the mall where we got some stuff at Bath and Body and JCPenny’s. Then, we headed to Aunt Batty’s house. She was making supper - beef and potato stew with corn, green beans and rice. We hung out till it was time for supper, and now we’re full and I’m bedded down for the night. Mom and Aunt Batty are watching movies. I figured I’d take this time to post, last post of the year.

The internet connection isn’t great here, it comes and goes. But I’ve been able to keep myself occupied at least. Now that I’ve had my shower, I feel much better. Problem is, I’m really sleepy, and between the fireworks and the dogs barking, I’ll probably not get much before 1 =..= Oi vey. Still, we’ve been welcomed into both homes we stayed in, so at least that was nice. I think we may be headed to my Aunt Carolyn’s tomorrow...I dunno. I, personally, would be content to stay here for the remainder of our stay...but that’s just me.

I’ll go ahead and sign off now. I can’t keep a thought in my head for more than 5 seconds...good indication to shut ‘er down. Night, Sunshines.

You Remember 50% of 2008

Okay, you were somewhat paying attention during 2008.

But you're not going to impress anyone with your knowledge of what went down.

You know the basics about what went down, but little else...

Let's just say you won't be writing the history book for 2008.

Yesterday was really enjoyable. The four hours in which I was driving alone wasn’t perhaps as fun as usual, considering that I don’t have any of my CDs, so I can’t really listen to my music. I was alert though, when driving over to pick up Scamp and Bear, so it wasn’t so bad. And Scamp and I talked a lot to fill the drive back. When we got into town, we got right down to business. I just went ahead and ordered the good stuff we’d grown accustom to eating at Zen. 2 Cucumber wrap rolls, a Zen roll, a Saints roll, and the glorious Tempura roll. We all agreed that the Tempura roll was no longer really epic....it was legendary ^..^ We had asked why Zen didn't have a web site, and the waitress said that they did if you searched the full name I tried it, but it didn't work out; all I got was the yellow pages reference to Zen. Anyway...After we gobbled down our rolls, we ordered a thing of Green Tea ice creame...sure, it sounds unappetising, but it’s really good. They had it in a little margarita glass, drizzled with chocolate syrup, with blue berries and a sliced strawberry on the side. Was delish.

After we ate, we headed over to Books-A-Million.....which is like shoving drugs right into an addict’s face. I did buy a book, but I didn’t go overboard. Oh, and I didn’t buy any of he Twilight series....that’s something to be proud of. We swung by Dairy Queen, because Scamp wanted a moolate. Then, we went to the mall...looked about a bit, but really we just found a bench and plackayed ourselves down. I think we spent upwards of 4 hours sitting on that bench and talking. Sure, we could’ve gone to a movie, but movies really are something you do with people you know super well that you have tons of time to waste. Talking was great because we just got to be relaxed and hang out.

Around 4:50 we headed back to the car....and went back to Zen :D We each just had Tempura rolls for ourselves and once again....legendary. Then....the long ride back. The bad thing about sushi is that it satisfies me so much that I’m really ready for a nap afterwards. I definitely got the same feel from Scamp and Bear....mostly since Bear fell asleep in the back seat and Scamp was dozing and forgetting every five seconds of the conversation. What was funny was when Bear woke up and asked, “....are we in Abbeville?” Scamp and I laughed at that. He missed most of the journey and he was trying his hardest to stay awake.

Oddly enough, I was awake and alert the whole way back. Of course, once I got back, I was exhausted. Mom didn’t get in till 10:40ish, so I didn’t get to sleep till after 11. We’re currently staying at Grandmere’s, and I’ve claimed the couch as my bed. It’s very comfortable really, and I slept so hard. Then again, I’ve had the busiest last four or five days. Friday was rehearsal, Saturday was the wedding, Sunday was recovery and movies with Chibi and then yesterday.....I’m not a good traveller either. I just wish we could still have that hotel room...From Grandmere’s house, well, we intend to stay till Wednesday night. Then we’ll go over to my Aunt Carolyn’s for a while (3 or so days I guess) and then we’ll end up back at Aunt Batty’s. I can’t wait to get home -..-

I know that at some point Mom wants to go to Hobby Lobby with me. She also said she wants to take me to Zen again...but I think I should put that off till we’re almost ready to leave =..= Then again, I may ask if she just wants to go to IHop, because I know Zen isn’t her favourite place. But really, I don’t know what our plans our ...or if we even really have any. Today, I’d like to relax a bit...recover some from the insanity that has been these last few days. We have till the 7th though, till we have to think about leaving. So...hopefully that’s plenty of time.

msmoon: (Warcraft - Wenny's disbelieving O Rly?)

Saturday, I woke up to Mom banging on my door. I stumble downstairs (in all my frazzled glory) with the good sense to wrap a blanket around myself before I open the door. She’s gotten a call from Grand’Mere asking if we’d like to go to Grand Isle. We’ve done it before and I took a bunch of pics. Well, I quickly got ready and went next door for breakfast (I really didn’t have much for breakfast at my house). Then we headed to McDonalds, because after shredded wheat, I was still hungry. Then we picked up Grand’Mere and headed out. I took crappy footage of everything we did and we ended up with a two hour DVD of our trip…yay! But it was fun.

That night I got on WoW and Mat was on. We got on voice chat and we both made each other laugh so hard, I was hurting the next morning. I don’t even remember half of what happened…just that it was hilarious.

Sunday was...what happened Sunday? Ok, first there was church, and Mom had a migraine. She left early without telling me and I had to go looking for her. Got home and I wasn’t hungry so I just got on WoW. Scamp was on…and so was Mat. We went through…Shadow Fang Keep! Yeah! That’s what we did. We went through there and got those quests done. Then Scamp had to go…I don’t know where she had to go, but she did. After a bit, I realized that the laundry wasn’t going to do itself, and by that time I was hungry. So I got off for about 30 minutes to eat and do laundry.

Before I’d left, Scamp had said she would be back on Hothien in an hour. So when I didn’t see her, I was a bit surprised. I eventually texted her, and she got on. We did a lot of stuff in Deatholme...I’m not loving the Succubus that Wenny finally got. Wenny’s not loving her either. Her name is Anriel (which is very pretty) and…I dunno. She’s just not as good as Zangs (Wenny’s voidwalker)…then again, Wenny was awfully attached to her blueberry. We got a bunch of stuff done there, but Mom called and asked me to come over and help her with something. She gets so debilitated when she has those migraines, it’s hard to do anything. So, I told Scamp that I had to go and we set up to meet each other some time tonight.

I helped Mom with food and we just sat for a while and watched TV together. America’s Funniest Videos has always been sort of a tradition (along with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, but nooo Oprah was taking over the channel that night!). Eventually (I think it was around…7ish) I headed back home for the night.

When I’d come back home from Mom’s, I plugged my iPod into my computer to recharge it. And I finally decided to go ahead and buy a few songs from iTunes. It’s odd because, I only buy songs from iTunes when I don’t want to buy the whole CD. But I won’t download an entire CD because I want the physical CD (which I reason I can always rip). So which songs did I get? Which songs to I like, but am not willing to buy the CD they’re on…Cyclone – Baby Bash, A Bay Bay – Hurricane Chris, Lo – Flo Rida, Crank That (Travis Barker Mix) – Soulja Boy, and Do it To it – Cherish. That’s right; the “Dance” playlist on my iPod got a big boost Sunday night. I already have a couple of Destiny’s Child songs along with Usher, and Timbaland songs on that Dance play list. Then there’s the 90’s Club Dance CD I got…a few P!nk songs…and now those…I’m trying to think if there are any other songs I can get for my dance list ^..^ Any suggestions?

….Can’t think of anything else to post. So, I guess that’ll be all. Later, Sunshines!

Eventful Day

2007-Aug-18, Saturday 10:23 pm
msmoon: (WalMart)
Ok, everyone on my friends list that wants to, please e-mail me or somehow send me your address/contact info. My Mom got me this beautiful address directory book (it’s actually a small binder specifically geared for this) and she says if I have my own house I should have my own address book. And I really don’t want my address directory to look puny and pathetic (even though I’m such a geek and all). So, please e-mail me with the following information: Full Name, Address, Home/Work/Cell phone (any or all), e-mail address, & Birthday. That way, no matter where I am…I know where you are...and I can send you wacky letters & cards.

Now that that’s out of the way…Today has been interesting. Mom went out of town with Grandmere Calla (to Mamou I think) and she asked me to do the grocery shopping. She gave me her debit card and the grocery list, and I figured since I was home alone all day it was something that I could easily accomplish.

When I left, I checked the mail. And my calendar came in. That was exciting. I quickly gave it a look-over and then decided to go through my current calendar(s) when I got home and make sure the new one is labeled properly. Then it was straight to Wal-Mart where I spent an hour getting almost everything and more on the list.

Things that were not on the list: The chocolate truffle cake (that Wal-Mart is evil for making since the cake is pure sin) and Shaun of the Dead, which my cousin tells me about all the time. It was on the $7.50 rack so I really couldn’t pass it up. Hey, I didn’t buy the newer movies that I wanted that were over $20...Don’t judge me. I had quite a walk to my car...throw some oil and butter on me with a dash of salt and pepper and I'd have been one tasty meal >..<

I finished up the 5th season of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and I have to say, I really enjoyed it once they got past the whole ‘Killing Iolus’ thing. I actually think I enjoyed his double more than him…not very nice of me, I know. But after I watched all of Herc, I started filling in my calendar...and then I realized that the only characters I have that have birthdays are the Order of Three...and I felt bad about that. So I set up a system for the Dragons in my world as to when which breeds would be born. Then I filled out all o the birthdays for them, and by the time I was done, I was ready to just go to randomly flipping through the calendar and writing names down in blank spaces. I swear, my calendar is gonna look so…colorful. I think I got through 4 of the 14 pages I printed out =..=;; Yeah.

I’m re-watching our Gathering of the Gargoyles dvds and lamenting over the fact that I cannot figure out how to make my damn computer just copy the DVD! I mean, honestly. It should be simple shouldn’t it!? Maybe I should just ask a technology store if they have a machine that copies one DVD to a blank DVD..It might be easier =..=’ It’d help if they actually made it easy to do so with all the software you buy.

OK...I’m done complaining. I need to go shower. Goodnight, sunshines.

Beware, for I am: Tired Tired

You know something funny? I can wake up at 5 a.m. and not really feel tired. Not right away that is. I don’t start feeling tired till much later. Round ‘bouts mid-afternoon. To make matters worse, I pulled a little muscle in my back late last night (somehow), and it’s been bugging me all day. Not so much that I can’t move or anything, but it’s just enough to remind you that it’s there and not let you get on with life.

Tomorrow is pay day and I have 3 things now on my list of things to buy. We all know about World of Warcraft (*cough cough*warcrack*cough cough*), and Supernatural, but the other thing which I was gonna get earlier but didn’t get the chance to...Mom’s birthday gift. I’d been eyeing these special humming bird feeders that she wants in a magazine and thought I’d get one of them for her. But they were extremely expensive so I thought I’d wait. Turns out the ones she actually wants aren’t available. Figures. So, I’m just gonna have to get her the other one, which is very pretty, and I’m sure she’ll love.

That’s my financial dilemma. Moving on. Today, (and some of last night), I totally reformatted the ‘Writing’ section of my web site. Not that I’ve posted anything as of yet, but I’ve got most of the ground work laid out. I just need to write up a few rants to add (yes, I’m adding rants to the Original section -.-), and then I’ll post everything and we’ll be in business...so to speak.

I’ve been so tired after work lately, that I haven’t really done much but loaf around afterwards. Which, I figure I can do since I am a full-time worker and all. But Mom asked if I wanted to go and visit Grandmere tonight, and I was too tired. But it bothered me because I hate missing visits with her. So I told Mom to ask Grandmere if she’d mind us all coming over on Saturday. She said she probably won’t mind unless she already has something planed. So, I’m hoping to spend some time with her then.

Oh also, I got Beatrice and Bill in. So now Bert doesn’t look all alone and undignified up there.

Lookit! )

Anyway...I guess that’s all that there is to life at this point. I’ll talk at ya’ll later. Ja-ne.

Beware, for I am: Frustrated Frustrated

Wow. That’s all I have to say about today. Wow. It was...wow.

Woke up late. That’s always good. At least, since I now have nothing to do, it is. Watched last night’s episode of Bones with Mom. She’s getting to where she likes the show now. Talk about a sad show. It was cool as always, but to think a kid’s gonna die so young. Man. I know it happens all the time all over the world, but when we watch characters on a tv show and get to feel like we know them personally, it just feels that much more sad. Then you realize that it happens all the time and you feel bad that it takes something as superficial as a TV show to get you to remember that, because you always knew it. But still. It was a good show. I now want to go see The Louvre...and that makes me feel stupid because I feel like I’ve allowed the power of suggestion to sink it’s teeth into me. Still, there are worse suggestions I could take.

Next in chronological order came Reiko’s visit, which was short and to the point. She left her copy of Final Fantasy VII – Advent Children in my care, and for that I will be forever grateful. Or something. I must say...I was much happier after she left. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy sharing things with my ‘Mouto-chans, but when it comes to watching something with Reiko that has at least one attractive character in it...things can get...agitating. Things began to take on quite a pattern.

Cloud comes on screen
Reiko: My God! He’s so hot!

Kadaj comes on screen
Reiko: Isn’t he just the hottest!?

Yazoo, and Loz are fighting Cloud
Reiko: Frikkin’ right!

Tifa and Loz fight scene
Reiko: This is so frikkin’ cool! I love Tifa!

scene where Cloud finds Tifa in Aerith’s flower beds and falls unconscious
Reiko: This is my favorite scene!

I’m sure you get the picture -_- However, after she left, I found I couldn’t watch the movie in peace. Mom and the Renters had decided to bar-b-que...and I was hungry. So at this point, nothing would do till I’d cleaned off the table outside, set it with napkins, paper plates and plastic cubs, and hauled everything Mom had fixed from the kitchen to said table. We then ate, made merry, and watched as humming birds darted to the feeders and then fled the scene.

After that I went in and watched the movie...then I rewatched the movie...I was interrupted by d-monthly pains and then I came in and watched the movie again; this time in English. I hated the English and have since decided to stick with the Japanese. The only time one should watch an anime dubbed is when they’ve already seen the original a few times and they’re in the mood for a laugh or otherwise can’t bring themselves to stare at the screen and read subtitles. At least that’s my opinion.

After that, I played a lot of Black&White 2. Then I looked up and realized it was frikkin’ 9 and I’d once again missed Supernatural/sigh why the hell cant this show rerun at another point in the week like every other show? I mean, CSI comes on 3 nights (Miami – Monday, NY – Wednesday, Vegas – Thursday) and yet it’s on every other night as well, rerunning. Gilmore Girls reruns in the mornings, and in the afternoon every weekday. Even the Soup reruns on Saturdays twice and then on Mondays and Tuesdays (the original episode being on Friday nights). Why can’t Supernatural rerun on Saturday or Sunday? I keep missing my doses and it’s driving me crazy /weep weep.

Ok. Enough about that. Mom had gone off to Grandmere’s house, and she didn’t get back till like...10. So we both sat down and watched CSI. It was great tonight. I was so hoping for a new episode. They finally took advantage of the whole ‘mother of the groom’ stigma thingy. And the thing about the bridesmaids? Did anyone else know that the purpose of the bridesmaids was to shield the bride from harm? In folklore it’s their cause to wear a dress that’s similar to the bride so that evil spirits will get confused and not know which woman to attack. I really had no idea that’s what they were for. You learn something new every day. Oh, and they did the perspective thing again. You know, where they take the same story but from four different people’s point of view so it always seems different. I love it when they do that, but Mom and Dad hate it. I think it’s cool.

Well, that’s all for today. I’m gonna watch FF VII – AC again till I get too tired and konk out. Goodnight.

Not much happened today. Wait...that’s not right. Stuff happened. Lot’s of stuff. What happened today? /thinks Ok..I called the boss-lady and asked if there was any time that she wanted me to come pick up my stuff, and she said any time. I apologized and she ‘accepted my apology’. ...Mom and I went walking. We walked 2 miles and decided to go check out Nanny McPhee at the dollar theater. I think Mom wants to perk me up or something. Truthfully, the only thing that really bothers me besides the lack of income is the lack of productivity. I’m afraid I’ll get lazy if I don’t have something to keep me going. Anyway. Mom and I walked. We saw a few things around the stores to look at on our last lap (the cool-out lap). We ended up going into Bath&Body Works, and I finally got to see (or smell as it were) the Cherry Blossom fragrances that [livejournal.com profile] chaineddove had told me about. OMG, Odango, you weren’t kidding. I have to admit that I like the white and pink products more than the yellow colored ones. They had a white, yellow, and pink variety of cherry blossom stuff and the yellow was way too strong. I like subtle fragrances. Your perfume isn’t supposed to announce you, it’s supposed to accompany you...and all that jazz.

After the walk, we deposited my check into checkings and then we headed over to Burger King to visit with Grandmere. She’s always at Burger King between the hours of 9:30ish to about 11. Allways with gets her biscuit (well done), her medium diet coke (which she refills throughout the day) and sits and talks with her sister and whoever else should wander through the door and be in the mood to talk. We stayed and talked for a while, then Mom had to deposit some money in her bank.

Then we headed over to the agency to pick up my stuff. We got everything cleaned out in record timing; packed it all in a box and was ready to go. I did forget to get Mrs. R to sign my time sheet, but I can sign it and fax it to her and she can sign it and send it on. I hope...Mrs. A has always loved my chocolate treasure candies, and she always finds an excuse to sneak in and get one. So I grabbed a handful and put them on her desk and said “For the road” she thanked me and we were on our way. No one else talked to us. No one else so much as looked at us. /shrug I’ll assume they were all too busy and leave it at that.

We got home and my Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe was in. I love special edition stuff. It’s great so far, and all I’ve watched is the bonus footage. I thought I recognized Mr. Tumnus from the movie, and I know where now. He’s the same guy that played as Leto in Children of Dune. He’s got this really sexy Irish accent. It’s absolutely adorable. I also have this wonderful Unicorn Coloring book that I ordered with it (shut up! It was like $2 and the shipping was free if I added $2 so..so...shut up!). But really, it’s the coolest coloring book I’ve ever seen. But I’m not going to color it till I get a new Printer/Scanner/Copier. I want to scan the pages so I’ll be able to color it as much as I like, whenever I like.

That’s another thing. Poor old Madison hasn’t been working right at all. She says that her black and white print cartridge is not installed properly. But every time I check it, I only find that it is installed properly, and then I take it out and put it in again and all she’ll do is blink at me and say it’s not done right. /sighs Oi, these machines. I can print on her though, which is odd...She just won’t scan or copy anything. I was going to get a new one as soon as I’d saved up enough money to get a really good one, but…well. The best laid plans, no da.

Anyway. Mom was feeling sleepy, so she went and napped while I dove into obsessive fan-girl heaven watching the CON (Chronicles of Narnia) bonus footage. These children are charming...Really. I mean, forget the fact that William Moseley (Peter) is extremely cute. They’re all just such a delight. It was a pleasure to watch them be themselves and have fun. This isn’t a occurrence that I’m accustomed to. I have made it evident on several occasions that I loath children to the very core of my being. And to find myself enjoying watching these children was a surprise. Maybe it’s because they’re British...that must be it.

Anyway. Mom finally got up from her nap. She went outside to read on the patio and she spotted two small wood-peckers. She called me out to take pictures, but my camera was kinda dieing and they were too far off anyway. And much too fast to catch on camera.

I came back and Mom wanted to fix her famous strawberry popsicles. She takes sugar, water and freshly grown strawberries and puts them all in a blender, then into little wax cups and puts a pop cycle stick in the center and freezes them all. She makes like 200 and we slowly eat them over the summer. I washed the strawberries and she blended and poured.

Then I went and made this little colorbar.

Kidd Kraddick is my favorite morning radio show. I was upset that I wasn’t waking up early enough to listen to them on a regular basis after the job thing. So I made this for fun.

Then, I watched half of tonight’s Bones. I’d taped it but I couldn’t get through it and check mail and stuff before CSI: NY rolled around. It was really good...both of them, I just don’t know how Bones ends.

Now, I’m showered and the pills are kicking in (thus the shorter sentences), so I’m off to bed. G’night everyone.

Well, today was fun. I didn’t wake up till around 10:30 even though I thought it was much later. Then I just hung out and did a lot of nothing. Mom and Dad got home from a shopping trip to Sam’s, which is now open in our town. And Dad announced that he wanted us to go see a movie today. When I asked which one, he said The Pink Panther. So, we ate and got ready and headed over there for the 2:00 showing, and of course it was sold out. So we bought tickets for the 5:00 showing. We went to Wal-Mart to get a few things, and then got some paper at Office Depot (if you bring in empty ink cartridges they give you a free pack of paper!). Then we came home, and waited for an hour and a half till we went back to the theater.

The movie was great. I loved it. There were certain parts where it was just, /shake head, but for the most part it was all good. I gotta say though, I’m a bit surprised at the theater. I mean, used to be that any time after 6:00 p.m. was matinee, but now they have 4:00 p.m. being the cut-off. And it used to be $5.50 before 6 for everyone, $4.50 for children, and $7.50 in the evening. Now it’s $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for students, $5.50 for seniors and $4.50 for children! That’s ridiculous!

Funny thing too! We go to the theater, pick a spot not too far away from the front, sit down, and I turn around and who do I see? My Grandmere is sitting right behind me! I thought that was so funny.

That’s really all that’s happened today. I had to reprint the next draft of the EQ Saga because I lost the old one I had in my notebook. And that’s it. Tomorrow’s gonna be early, so I’m going to bed now. Goodnight!

Yo. Today was nice. I did mostly nothing, really. Other than break in those new orthodics(sp?). And that took about, oh, 20 minutes before it really started hurting. But then, if it is like exercise, I suppose I’ll just have to go with the whole ‘start slow’ method.

I also spent a small amount of time looking up Video cards...mostly because old Irene here (this computer that is) doesn’t have a good enough video card to play Black&White 2. I was shocked at how much it actually cost for that type of stuff! And since all I know is that the one I get has to be compatible with I’m assuming that I’ll either need to buy one, or make sure that the new PC I get has one. The trouble is, I’m not sure exactly how to find out if the new PC will have one considering it doesn’t actually mention it in the specs on the web page I looked at. Either way, it’ll be forever till I actually get the new PC...but do I really wanna spend that much money on something like that, when I could just be patient and get it with the package. That is the question.

I didn’t get a chance to go to the movies with Mom today. Grandmere kidnapped her early this morning (like 6 am and stuff), and they went all the way to Lake Charles. Grandmere has friends down there, and Mom wanted to see how things were since the hurricanes. I let Mom take my camera, so we’ll have to see how those pics come out. We did promise to go see either War of the Worlds or In Her Shoes tomorrow. That’s still kinda up in the air. Mom doesn’t like paying any more than the the early price of $5.50, so if we can’t go to the Palace to see In her Shoes before 6, we’ll be going to see War of the Worlds at the local dollar theater. I saw that the dollar theater has Charlie and the Chocolate Factory playing now. That brings back memories of Chibi-chan([profile] amai_tenshi) since that was the last movie we went to see together at the theater.

When we got back home I watched Threshold. It was good. It made me want to make icons. So, I spent my time making icons, and now I am extremely sleepy. My meds are so kicking in. I’d better bed down before I resist too long and they wear off -.- Goodnight.

Yo!!!!! I LIVE! *cough cough sputter, clears throat*. Um...Yeah.

So, the last few days have been...trying. To say the least. Not knowing whether you’ll have a home to return too is almost as bad as having that home and it not being fully functional. We are only now completely up and running (internet and all ^.^ ). So, I shall now post what has happened over the past following days. I’ve been writing a lot...that is your only warning. This entry is gonna have some serious tags...Enjoy!

What comes after 59?

2003-Mar-12, Wednesday 10:59 pm

Hey Mina. Today was very tiring. Woke up around 6:49—actually my Dad woke me up. He came in Monday night. Ate breakfast, got ready, watched some Designing Women—still love that show—and went to school. Took a test. Don’t know how I did but I felt pretty good about it. I was the first to turn in my test.

And so I’m thinking; now I got a full day to relax before church...maybe I can get on and see my Twin-san. She told me she’d be online or on EQ but the hours were very vague...anyway. I had just eaten some Ramen noodle soup with I get a call from Courtney at work. Turns out she needs someone to work 3-6 in the box. So I checked to make sure my uniform was clean and told her sure, I’d do it.

Well, I knew it’d be a bit hard for me to go to work, get off at 6, go home, change eat and then leave for church at 6:30. But it became even harder. Jeremy’s counting me out ‘cause some lady called about an investigation, which is to be kept confidential. I get off the phone and Jeremy’s counting my ones and he’s like,

“55, 56 57, 58, 59...” and he turns to me and I go,

“60?” and he says,

“60! For a second there I was gonna ask you ‘What comes after 59?’” hence the title.

But anyway he counted me out and I clocked off and I saw my locker and looked at my keys to get the key to unlock it and realized, I’ve got my mom’s set of keys...My mom’s set of keys doesn’t have a key for my locker...-.-;;;;

Called home and Dad brought the keys over really quickly. So I got my stuff, got a burger at Burger King, headed for church, and got there at 6:55. Sis. Janet was already up in the sound booth and she said it was ok for me to eat my supper in the booth. So I did. I ate the fries during song service and then the burger was gone not too long after.

Then after church we went to my Grandmére’s house and worked on my special project for a certain someone who’s having a birthday soon. I just hope it works. It looks like it’s all coming together. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Anyway, after that we’re home, I’m taking my pills, then my shower and hopefully having a full ten hours of sleep.

I’ll write later Mina, but for now I’m really really tired. That’s all she wrote.

Well Mina, that's what sticks out in my mind about today. First of course was school, and we had a fascinating section on Adjectives -.-;; Then for Speech only one person had their speech ready, so for the rest of the time all we did was talk. And boy did they ever talk. At first it was about the voting and all and then it went to Scooby Doo—don't ask me how, I wasn't really paying too much attention.

Then they started talking about that joke about Disney putting subliminal messages in their tapes. Like they said in one of the songs in Aladdin the Jennie turns into a bee and if you listen you can hear this voice whispering "All good teenagers take off your clothes." And of course there's the thing with the Lion King and that thing with the dust spelling out Sex or something. I jokingly said it was the Disney people's own private behind the scenes joke, and Rikki said, that way it's for all ages. That was actually pretty funny..^.^

Then I came home and tried to relax a while. Thomas has been doing pretty bad. He's been trying to find a job and hasn't been doing so well. He's been selling his own plasma just to get by, and one of the wheels on his car blew out again, and he doesn't have the money to go fix it. So I told Mom I'd send him some money, and she said that'd take a big load off of her mind.

Also I had been filling out applications like mad these days. Well the other day—Tuesday to be exact—I got a call. Where from, you'd never guess. It was from the Palace and they wanted to interview me. Since they're run by AMC now instead of Gulf States I'm hoping the working experience will be much better than it was last time I worked for them. But really I have little choice. My parents have decided to trade in the car and buy me a new car. And I'd have to pay the notes and insurance. So I really need a job. I was saying the other day that I needed something to get me away from the house at times, and now I guess I have it.

Also I started my cycle this morning and it was in full swing. Mom still hasn't gotten her replacement credit card so we couldn't buy my new medicine with it. So I volunteered to pay for it myself. It works very well. It only makes me a little sleepy, but if I'm moving and active I don't feel it. If I'm sitting still or laying down, then it's a different story. And this is the last cycle I'll have in a while. The doctor decided that since my Endometriosis is getting worse he's going to try me on some shots that will take my cycle away without making me go through menopause. So that might work out very well.

In Twin-san news...I've yet to see neither hide nor hair of her. We were supposed to meet Monday, and she never showed. Didn't see her Tuesday and of course Wednesday I had Orientation at 5 and church at 7 so I couldn't have possibly have seen her. I hope I see her tomorrow 'cause I'm working Friday Saturday and Sunday. Friday is 6:30-CL, Saturday is 1-8, and Sunday is 11:45-4:30. I'm not complaining at all. I need the money. And having something to occupy my time will get me out of this stupid depression.

Well, I'm really exhausted. After the orientation—5:00 to 6:35—we went straight to church, then to McDonalds then to my Grandmere's and then home. We thought we were gonna need to hem my pants legs but they were fine, go figure -.- And since I've showered I'm totally ready for bed. I tried to send Dad an e-mail twice but it kept coming back. I hope their weather isn't too bad out there. That can disrupt their computers and all. Oh well. I'm going to have to call it a night before I just keel over in front of the monitor. Goodnight Mina. That's all she wrote.

Hey Mina. Well, I finally got over everything—not really but you know. You don't really get over it, you just...move past it. The world moves so fast, if you don't keep moving then you get left behind. So I'm just ambling along.

Yesterday was...Thursday right? Yeah it was Thursday. Well, School was...school. Kayla and I took a nice trip down memory lane, and the computers froze about 20 minutes before class let out. So the teacher gave us a copy of vocabulary words that would be on the T.A.B.E. test. Came home...did lots of nothing. Got on at 6 and Twin-san didn't show (big surprise there). Watched Survivor Thailand with Mom, but we were both so sleepy we didn't stay up for CSI and Without a Trace.

Today was interesting. Woke up a little early—an hour to be precise—and got dressed and went to a funeral. Brother Blaine's father's funeral. Brother Blaine used to pastor our youth group, and he did a good job. He was one of the few that always tried to include me. So I went to pay my respects. Stayed for a while, and then at 10:00 left for school.

School was boring as usual. We did a tad bit more in English than I thought, and we're having a spelling test this Monday. Speech was interesting I guess. Amanda gave a nice speech on the need for prayer in schools. It was nice. I still don't know what I made, but it's no big deal. He'll tell us when he tells us...which might be some time late next week -.-

Came home and Mom had gone with Aunt Batty to...to...somewhere. They were out in town or something. I think New Orleans though. Whatever. Anyway, I re-watched Survivor and then stopped and made Mom a banana pudding—it's one of the few deserts she can have on her diet—then I got on the PC and repaired some things in my web pages and all. Then Mom got home and we watched CSI and Without a Trace together.

Twin-san didn't get on...but...I'm not really surprised. She has her sempai (boy friend) now and she's enjoying her time with him. At least that's my guess, 'cause last she told me she was grounded. Guess it was a liberal grounding. I really miss her but I can't begrudge her of her happiness. I can only envy it. Dad told me it wasn't fair, and that I shouldn't have to be the only one who's trying to be the friend...but then I'm the good forgiving Twin so...Ah well. Such is life.

I suppose I'll close out now Mina. Before I get all mopey. That's all she wrote.

Haunted

*sigh* Hey Minna. Well things were going ok. Took the Speech test, did more English work than I needed. Fooled around on the computer for a little bitty while and helped Mom clean up the house. Grandmere and Grandpere came over for a nice dinner with us, and then they sat and talked with Mom and Dad for a while. I got on the computer and then EQ to meet Twin-san, but she had to leave like right away so that wasn’t much fun. So all in all everything was going ok

....then Thomas called and now my parents are all anxious to hear from him. I told you how all his tires blew. Well, Thomas called tonight after I got off, and they’re waiting for something from Selective Service before he can start. And then they want him to pay two months rent which would be a lot of money...I think they said $900 to $1,000. And since he’s only got about $500 that doesn’t help. So Dad told him to call between 6 and 7 and that means I’ll be an hour late to meet my Twin-san, if I even get to see her at all. I probably won’t.

I’m slightly frustrated at that, since I haven’t had a good Non-EQ RPG with her in forever. I mean I feel like I’ll always be in my brother’s shadow. And now since he’s farther away and Mom and Dad can’t actually see how he’s doing, they’re more worried and they want to focus on him more. Of course it doesn’t help that he needs money we don’t have and all. Mom’s upset ‘cause she’s half afraid they’ll turn him away if he doesn’t have all the money he needs.

Also Chibi and her family are packing up and heading for Arkansas, ‘cause they’re afraid Isador will hit and blow their trailer away with them in it. I guess. I don’t know if they’ve ever had to weather a hurricane...but from what I see Isador doesn’t look like she’s coming our way. She looks like she’s heading west and south. I suppose she could turn but I dunno. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

*sighs* I’m done ranting and raving now. I guess I’ll go work on the next chapter of the EQ story till my sleeping meds kick in. That’s all she wrote.

Once again

2002-Aug-07, Wednesday 12:55 pm

Hey Minna. Well once again I managed to forget about my own diary. Actually there were times I remembered but then I didn't think I had anything worth writing.

Erg, but my computer's being a pain this morning. I've already shut it off and turned it back on but it still refuses to allow me to stay on for more than five minutes at a time if I'm lucky. But I won’t give up no da!!

Anyway, Yesterday and the day before was far too much fun. Kaa-san, and Tou-san went to Huston with Grandmere and Grandpere (Translation: Kaa-san= Mom, Tou-san=Dad in Japanese. Grandmere= Grandmother, Grandpere=Grandfather in Cajun French.) So I got the house all to myself till tomorrow evening. So after finding this out, I contacted Chibi and Reiko and asked them to come and spend the day with me Monday. Chibi couldn't spend the night but Reiko could so she stayed the night.

We watched 8 hours of Magic Knight Rayearth—Reiko hated the ending—and we also taped ourselves doing stuff, mostly talking. Chibi's Kaa-san picked her up at 10 o'clock exactly, and she had to go home since her Kaa-san was having guests over the next morning or whatever.

Reiko stayed the night, and we went to bed...a little after 12, but we kept talking and so it was about 2AM before I finally got to sleep. I woke up at 6 o'clock exactly and just couldn't go back to sleep. So I got up and took my shower and all and played EQ for a while. Reiko woke up around 10AM and we proceeded to watch Fruits Basket. We taped ourselves a little bit, but we mostly watched Fruits Basket ^.^

At 3:30 I brought Reiko home and she got to show me the next chapter of her fan fic and also all her new wall papers. And then I finally got home. I wanted to fall asleep right away but then I'd end up waking up around 4 in the morning and that's not cool. So I stayed up a while and fooled around on the PC. I was hoping to talk and RPG with Twin-san but she never got on.

So I finally got off the PC...it musta been around 10 or so, 'cause then I took my shower and made myself a roast beef sandwich. I love those things as long as they're warm. I make the sandwich and then put it in the microwave all the time. I swear I'm so spoiled, I can't eat them cold and enjoy them anymore.

Reiko called me around Midnight or so all excited since her writers block had faded to reveal pure genius. She's so happy with her fan fic and I'm so happy she's so happy. She really likes Romantic things, and she's getting really good at writing romantic things so she's all happy that it's turning out to be like a story she, herself would like.

And that concludes this entry. Boy is it ever long. Wonder how many words I have here...oh well, that's all she wrote.

Such a long time

Hey Minna. Really long time no write. Um well at least I didn't write after church. Let's see. Not much has been happening. I've been meaning to write, I've just been putting it off -_-;;;.

I have really been getting into this Dollz site. It's basically paper dolls gone virtual. It's a bunch of heads, bodies, and clothes that you can put together and make dolls. Twin-san and I really got into them, and now Twin-san's Imouto is into them. O.o She told me she found the Original Dollz site, but she failed to mention where it was. Oh well, this is the site URL dollz. Go visit and try it out.

Um, all my people on Rodcet Knife on EQ have raised a level except Shenna. She's still level 12 but she's only got half a bubble left. She's the one that's harder, but it'll be worth it. After I've got that done I'll start on Terris Thule, and then so on and so forth. Now that the web site's up and working well, I can finally start playing EQ again.

Just came back from a visit with my Grandmere and Grandpere. I have an adopted set of grandparents, and I call them Grandmere & Grandpere. Mom, Dad, Thomas and me all went over there around 5:30 and we ate and talked and talked and talked and then ate some desert and then we talked some more. Finally we left, but we'd all had a good time.

I hope I see my Twin-san tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to see her today, and she didn't e-mail me with anytime to get on tomorrow, so I'll just basically be guessing. I'll probably get on around 10:00/11:00 and check to see if she's on, then maybe 1:00/2:00. Usually they go cruising on Saturday night so if I don't see her all day then I wont expect to see her at night.

Ah well, I guess that's all for this entry. I'll try and remember to write more. That's all she wrote.

MM

P.S. Go visit my web site!!
