Ok, enough of that. The weekend was nice...Any day I don’t have to wake up at 5:45 is a good day. Saturday, Scampers went home. Her parents and older brother Josh came over. Josh played some WoW. We talked a lot. Ate. Uncle Steve went over and looked at the Nexus and gave Mom a page full of stuff that we need to remember. He said if the house is empty as it is now, he can paint the whole thing in one day. That’s very promising. We had wanted to go with paneling upstairs because the paint keeps peeling, but he says that it’d be cheaper and easier to just spray on that stuff that we have on our ceilings now (popcorn ceiling). He says he can smooth it all out and it’ll be all professional. I wonder if we can paint it...I hope so.


After they all hightailed it, Mom and I decided we should go shopping. I had seen some nice tank tops in the JC Penny’s catalog that I wanted to see about getting. We were disappointed to find them in the juniors section. But we reasoned that if we got an XL, it’d fit. Well, it didn’t =.= So, we’re gonna end up returning 4 tops if we can. We did find some uber cool PJs for me. That was nice. We then went to Target and I bought a bunch of crap (and Mom did too!). I got Firefly, Pan’s Labyrinth, Second Hand Lions, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I now have a desire to buy as many Mel Brooks movies as I can lay my hands on ^.^ And Second Hand Lions is still one of the best movies. I’m still not sure if I liked Pan’s Labyrinth….it was beautifully made, and the Spanish language really embellishes it…but, I’m not sure if the ending was really a good one, or if the end justifies the means. It’s just…disappointing. Firefly is still coolness on a stick. I can’t see why anyone would’ve canceled that.

Speaking of disappointments, saw Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End with Mom and Scampers Friday night. /sigh …thanks a lot Disney. Sorry, but I didn’t enjoy the ending. It was all good…until the end. Hate what they did with the Turners. And another thing… um, Disney? Why does everyone of importance on the boat have to scream “FIRE!!” before the cannons can fire? I’m just curious.…I mean, is there a contract somewhere? Or is that just your way of expressing chain of command or something? I Loved Jack. That never will change. Gotta love Jack. Scampers tells me that they’re thinking about making two more movies about just him, and they’ll be like a prequel and a sequel. That’d be much coolness.

I worked a bit on my web site Monday as shocking as that sounds. I’ve been tweaking things quietly for a while now, but just recently I took down the hidden “Original” section that was all about my story and world, and I started working on my Warcraft section. It’s made me want to redesign my City of Heroes section too. I only just noticed that all of the characters that I have up there, are characters from my first run with CoH…So, I might-should update at least the characters that I actually had the last time I played =.=

Mom and I were talking the other day, mostly about our future plans and all. She said that eventually, she and Dad want to travel a bit before he retires (while they can still afford it). There’s a lot of the country that they still haven’t seen, and Mom’s always wanted to sorta tour the US. She was saying that Dad asked her not to get a dog while they’re traveling around (which is totally weird, because Mom’s the last person to have a dog when she’s home in every-day life much less when she’s traveling all over). And she said that while they didn’t want to get a dog, it might be a good idea for me to get one, at least as a guard dog and companion while they’re away. I am on the back half of the two acres and all. Mom and I searched for Large Breed Dogs, and we found a web site that has information about Giant breeds and Lage breeds and even some medium breeds. It has their temperament and such on there along with how they look and what they were bred for.

I think I’ve finally decided….on a Great Dane. I want to get a great dane puppy ^.^ So, that means I’ll be tracking down my cousin Angel to pick her brain about the breed, what type of nutrition and training they’d need and all that. I figure, I’ve got at least an acre to myself and I know my parents don’t mind sharing it with me, so I’ve got plenty of room to exercise her. I think Angel works at Pet Smart with obedience classes and such, so I could start with that while she’s a pup and then keep up the training at home. Plus the temperament is perfect for what I want…and it’d be real nice to have a dog to come home to. The only thing I really want to check out is if the pen that Uncle Charles gave me is big enough for the dog when she’s full size. I’m thinking that I can leave the dog there when I go out to work, and then come home and exercise with the dog by walking or playing or whatever. Then it’ll be time to fix supper and eat. I’m also thinking that if I fix the dog’s food before mine, she’ll be so busy eating, she might not pay me any mind while I fix my food. So…I need to know about space, food, training, and any other needs the dog may have...Should be a piece of cake ^.^

Oh, and guess what? Chibi's home! Yeah, my 'Mouto-san's finally come back. We've talked about getting together sometime this Saturday. I'll have to call Reiko and see if/when she can make it. So, I'm wondering. I had these gifts that I had wanted to give them for Christmas last year, but I forgot that they were there (there was so many other things to remember!). So I'm wondering if I should just give them that now or wait till Christmas again....

I was just thinking how interesting it’d look if I got all set up and I got my dog and all, and then if Scamp came to visit (which I’m sure she will) with her dogs….that’d be a funny picture.

I guess that’s all for now...I can’t think of anything else to write. Pay day comes at the end of this week…so I’ll be broke again soon ^.^ Later, sunshines.

Just got back from seeing Pirates 2 (in case you couldn’t tell). Wonderful movie. Way to go, Disney. That’s one old man Disney never would’ve saw coming. Over all, great movie, loved it all, must see more of the crazy voodoo woman, wake me when the next one starts.

Beware, for I am: Pleased

Wow...yeah, today’s been good. Didn’t get up till 11. I say ‘get up’ because I was awake, I just didn’t want to drag myself out of bed till then. Got up, had breakfast and started playing EQ2.

I now have six characters on EQ2; all of my characters are on the Premafrost server. First is Illisse my Barbarian Mystic. She’s level six. Then is Silivren my Dark Elf Wizard that is currently level 3. Followed by Miiriel, my Erudite Illusionist that is level 7. Followed by Vicraxx my Iksar Bruiser of level 5. Next is Allasante my Ratonga Warden of level 3. Finally I have Anvanime, my Wood Elf Ranger of 3 levels. And I must say, it has been a fun day. The names of all but one are all elvin to my knowledge...Illisse means All Sweetness, Silivren is Glittering Silver, Miiriel is Glittering Jewel, Allasante is Joy Bringer, and Anvanime is Most Beautiful. Vicraxx is just a mix of Vicari and Caxrass. Most of it’s been fun, the only real drag is when tons of people get on and my computer gets all jumpy when I (or anyone else for that matter) moves. There was this time when Vicraxx grouped and I knew I shouldn’t have done it, but the guy kept bugging me! He asked me to group four times, and I kept declining. Finally I just accepted. I hardly ever group, because I have to do things at my own speed. Most guys that play operate on years of experience and just do things all ‘bam-bam-bam-bam-bam!’ like. I like to take my time, look around, smell the roses so to speak. These guys would just attack stuff and then move on, and then go on and I wouldn’t know where they were and they’d have to come and get me, and then the computer got all laggy. I think my chat bar was going crazy too, because I’m pretty sure they were talking but it never showed what they were saying. Finally I was just like, “Melt down!” and logged off. I went and ate lunch and came back about an hour later. Things were a tad bit better by then. So, for future reference, never group! Anyway..so yeah. All new characters, all new game (you can see them here).

In other RPG news: I got an invite on MySpace to join an RPG Message board all Pirates of the Caribbean-ish. I was tickled that someone actually went through MySpace and said to themselves ‘oh, she might enjoy this type of thing!’ and invited me. Of course, I’ve done Message Board RPGs before and I’ve never had much luck with them. To me their too slow. By the time some people reply to what’s going on others have lost interest and you can’t move forward without everyone interacting. It’s why I prefer IM-RPG; it’s all instant (well mostly -.-). Of course that got me thinking about the Tenshi again. Man, we would’ve rocked a Pirate-y RPG. Of course, that for us would’ve been someone playing Jack Sparrow and/or Will Turner and every other character dressing like pirates (whether they wanted to or not). I can so see Lina as a pirate /nod nod nod. Buffy too probably. And maybe Magoo would through in Larry as her pirate person. And Duo would be the finest looking one of the bunch! Not that we’d all be limited to one. The Tenshi are many things, but we’re never limited ^____^. Man, that brings back old times. I miss our RPGing, but I think I’m probably the only one who’s interested in it anymore. /shrug What ya gonna do?

And that’s been my day. All-in-all, not a bad way to start off the first of the month. I shall now conk out and have peaceful dreams and then tomorrow try to dream up more to either the EQ Saga, Different from Me or the EQ2 characters’ bios...that is, if I don’t get exhausted from being up so early and all that. Ja!

I cannot find my notebook anywhere! For those of you who know me, you know how stressful this can be for me. I have looked high and low in both my and my dad’s room, and I’ve yet to find the damn thing! I hate it too, because I was just in the mood to type up stuff that I’d written in there. In fact I really wanted to write up the gargoyle story that I rambled on about in this post. This is one of the things I hate about cleaning. Mom’s always saying that once you clean you can find everything a lot more easily. Yet whenever I clean I can never find a blessed thing!

/deep sigh. Ok...focusing on a new topic that will hopefully put my heart rate back to normal. Oh, Dad gave me like $100 today. Why? ...”In case you need it.” I think it has to do with something I’d said before when I was working. Dad hates to see me work in a job that I hate, so he’s always encouraged me to quit said jobs. One time I said that I didn’t want to quit ‘cuase I wouldn’t have any money coming in. To which he said he wouldn’t mind giving me money not only to pay bills but to spend as well. So now, every time he comes in he gives me a little money. Usually it’s like $20 here and there, but this time, he’d made $50 off his candy money, and we’d just gotten the $150 rebate from the computer in, so he gave me $50 of that. I was psyched. I intend to put that in savings or checkings (or something) and keep it stored up for later.

What else happened today? Oh, at the wedding Andrew showed up. My cousin from Arkansas. He and his family came down early for the wedding and to celebrate Christmas with my Aunt and Uncle (their grandparents). We cut up like nobody’s business at the wedding. Till of course, the bride and bride’s maids actually started to come down the isle. It was fun.

Oh, I watched Underworld again today. God, I love that movie. It’s the only vampire movie that Rieko and I both agree totally rocks. I guess I’m just not into vampires viewed as immortal gods. I think of them more like fallen elves. ‘Cause if you think about it, elves (at least Tolkien-style elves) are immortal and perfect their skills in archery, and are beautiful, and graceful and glorious and captivating. Vampires are just people who’ve been given a ton of time on their hands as long as they play right and drink blood nightly. So, they probably are still in fact human, they just can use their time to perfect their darkness instead of honing a virtuous ability. I cannot wait for Underworld II to come out next year.

Speaking of such, I also can’t wait for X-Men 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest to come out too. This coming year is gonna see some awesome movies...and I cannot wait. I talked with Mr. D from Hancocks and he said that they’ll have not only Juggernaut in this next one, but they’ll have Beast and they’re even gonna go as far as Rachel Gray when it comes to the Phoenix saga. So totally cannot wait.

Ok. I’m starting to sound like a valley girl. So I shall now get off of here before I, like, totally embarrass myself and stuff…oh God..
