msmoon: (Politics - Walken for president)

This morning, I went and voted right away. I left the house around 7 and got there at 7:05, and I got out at 7:10. My Car was still warm. There were no people in front of me, and there was an open booth. So, it didn’t take long. Also, there was a sign on the door saying STOP! Look on the Table! And on the table there were all the candidates running and the amendments. Of course, they don’t put them in layman’s terms, but at least they had that before you get in the booth, right?

I had fun with Reiko this weekend, but she nearly made me lame from the 2 hours walking around Wal-Mart and then the other two hours walking around Target. I have to say, regestering at Target is so much easier. They give you a little inventory thingy to compile your list for both stores, but the one at Target has a full LCD display that shows what item you’ve chosen, how many you want and the price of each one. And plus, Target just always seems nicer than Wal-Mart for some odd reason ^..^

Not much else to post really...Here’s all the political quizes. Good to get them out now, right? Later, Sunshines.

You Should Live in a Purple State

Your preferences are 35% Blue, 65% Red

You may not be a swing voter, but you feel comfortable around moderate people.

You tend to do best in states with a red and blue mix - like Nevada and North Carolina.

You are adaptable. You can converse with a church crowd as easily as with grad students.

We Predict You Voted For McCain

We're 75% sure you voted for McCain.

You seem to fit the profile of a typical McCain voter.

We're not saying you should have (or shouldn't have) voted for him.

But if we had to place a bet, we'd guess you voted McCain this year.

Harvest Moon

Eureka!

msmoon: (Supernatural - no good)
Ok! So things going on. Um. Sunday went by uneventfully. Played a little WoW with my Twin and Co...watched a bit ‘o TV and such, but other than that, nothing huge. I was exhausted on Sunday, as always. I suppose it’s because I have to wake up at 6. It didn’t help that I’d had to wake up at 5 the morning before either. But at least I got paid for my time with the seminar thingy.

Also, Sunday I’d received word that my cousin, Gill ([info]wotcherscamp) would be coming for a visit Tuesday when my Aunt Lane came. However, all those plans died when we heard that she and her family fell sick Monday =.= Figures. Oh well. She’ll just have to get better soon so that she’ll be able to come over at the end of the month! Mom and Dad are talking about leaving for Tennessee for Thanksgiving, so if she could come then, it’d be really cool. I still haven’t found out if we have that Friday off, but I know we have that Thanksgiving day off. It falls to the people down-stairs really. If they have the day off, then Mrs. Ellen will give us the day off. I think that if we all end up asking if we can take that day off, she’ll probably let us do so. Not like anyone else’ll be working.

Voted this morning...that was cool. They have a new electronic, touch-voting. They have a board that has all the voting options on it, and there are green X’s lit up behind them. You just press ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to cast your vote and there’s a button at the bottom that says “Cast Vote” and you’re done. S’really cool.

Oh! And I was so excited! Last night, the computer went off at 9 PM, and I took my pills and wrote till I got sleep and/or till my back started aching. I write sitting up, or really hunched over in bed, so it’s more of a strain on my back, but my back and the sleeping pills keep me from staying up too late with it. I was excited because the system seems to actually be working.

I guess that’s all that there is. The urge to post just hit me here on my lunch break so I decided to go with it. If I don’t...I probably won’t post at all.

Well, I guess that’ll be all. I had to take some sinus pills after I got up this morning, and I’m really getting groggy. Not to mention that I’ve developed this chest-rattling cough too so I’ve had enough cough drops to choke a horse all ready. Hope this isn’t an omen of how the winter season will be. Either way. Later!

You Are a Winter
You look ravishing in: Black, burgundy, emerald green, hot pink, icy colors, navy blue, red, royal purple, and white
