Beware, for I am: Drugged Allergic...

Ok, so today was fun. Mom woke me up around ten and we went to town. We didn’t find any clothes at the mall but I did get some of the Bath&Bodyworks Cherry Blossom perfume and shower gel (thanks for the head’s up on that chaineddove-san!). Then we went to Target and I got the other half of my Cherry Blossom artwork thingy (man, am I sensing a pattern here? Oh well. It’s not like I can help the fact that cherry blossoms rocketh). Then we went to Wal-Mart (of all places -.-) and found some nice kacky’s and a few around-the-house shirts. We also got some of those plastic storage bins. We’ve been talking forever about getting me some book shelves for those books that I have in Dad’s shed. But I only just realized that with all the new artwork in the room and how small the room is, there’s really no place for book shelves. So I decided to settle on getting a billion of those plastic bins, and putting them under my bed with all my books in them. It’ll be out of the way and I’ll have my books out of Dad’s shed ¬.¬

Then we got home and we piged out on Taco Bell / KFC. Oh! I got the soundtrack to .hack//sign in too! Such pretty music! And I got notice from Amazon that I’ll be getting the other package that I ordered as well soon. At least, it’s been shipped...that was like, late last night though...so whatever. After eating I watched Tenchi Muyo again just for the laughs. If you ever wanna laugh, that’s always a good anime to watch for it. The rest of the day was spent with me kicking myself for missing The Soup, and trying to write the next chapter of Different from Me. I’m making progress, but it’s at a “slow, deliberate thought...distraction...furious typing with massive ideas...distraction.” pace.

Mom and I finished the day with Trading Spaces. I so hate black&red oriental stuff. Just so you know. I really do. Also, I’ve sneezed more within the past two days than I have in the last six months. It’s weird. My allergies and sinuses have made an unholy alliance to torment me...and I must say…I’m not pleased.

Ok well. 6 is gonna come early...and I have a lot to do tomorrow (must clean under the bed so that I can put those bins in =.=). Goodnight.

Lethargic

Whoa...ok, so what happened today. Well, for the first time in...a very very very long time I dressed up to go to church this morning. I wore my brown slacks with a coffee colored shirt that’s decorated with tiny cream, brown and reddish brown beats around the collar along with my brown high heels. Don’t ask why...I guess wearing fancy stuff every day has boosted my confidence slightly. Not so that I think I look good, but I know I can actually pull it off without looking like an ass. Everyone at church seemed really excited about my new job. That was cool. But for some reason, I was really tired...so I wasn’t quite as vocal as I usually am.

When we came home, I changed and made some Raspberry green tea, a couple of egg rolls and Mom fixed us some ramen noodle her way (with Ms. Dash!). Then we watched Trading Spaces together. It’s always fun watching TV with them. At least it is when I’m in the mood for it -.- There are some times when I just wanna shut myself in my room and be left alone. Now wasn’t one of those times. I watched the show and did my toe nails. Since I bite my fingernails into the quick on a regular basis, I often obsess about my toe nails. As a result, I’ve gotten pretty good at giving pedicures. I give Mom pedicures a lot, and since she has problems with her nails, she appreciates it. Plus it’s just time that we spend doing something together.

After the show was over and our toe nails were dealt with, I quit fighting and went to take a nap. I slept from like, 12 – 4:45 in the afternoon. I was shocked. The phone rang a few times, and I didn’t even hear it. While I was sitting watching TV and Mom was getting ready for church, Reiko called. She said she had the wrong number, but she’d been wanting to call me anyway. She asked if she could come over, and I said sure. I didn’t feel like going to church anyway. I find that if I wake up from a long nap, I don’t feel really well, and the last place I want to go is church. She brought some of her anime along with a few manga that I hadn’t read. She hung out for a while and surfed the web. She also brought her camera, and showed me a lot of pictures she’d taken recently.

Turns out that Reiko knows these guys that are in a band, and they’re gonna be recording a new CD or something soon. And they want to record her saying some things that they intend to put in the background of their music. She also takes pictures of the band and works on graphics for them. That’s really cool.

But, she left for home and then Mom came back after I’d showered. We went to KFC and got something to eat and I got something for lunch tomorrow. And Mom dried my hair and everything. She apologized for feeling so impatient while I was unemployed and having so little faith. She also mentioned how much she loved drying my hair. I figure it’s about as sane as me enjoying giving her pedicures. It’s something we both know we can do and we enjoy doing them with each other.

I am now going to bed. 6 a.m. always comes early. Goodnight.

Wow. Ok, so today was so short...how’d it get so damn short? Oh yeah, we went to town and I started playing Black&White 2 after that. Duh. Actually, today was the best day I've had health-wise in a while..

Ok so things I did today:

1: Woke up at 10 after getting up at 5. If ever I wake up really early and I manage to get back to sleep, I sleep really hard and usually pretty late.
2: Watched Gilmore Girls and wanted to cuddle Luke...again. What is it with my crush on that guy anyway?
3: Went to town with Mom and Dad after they got home from the church. Tuesday mornings sometimes means a meeting for the church staff and that includes the secretary. Mom volunteers to answer phones for her for an hour or more if needed.
4: Exchanged that XL outfit that we’d bought at Wal-Mart for a Large.
5: Grocery shopped with Mom and Dad. We only had a few things on the list, but of course we had to get a few other things. You never remember all of what you want till you get there. Aside from list items we got Pocky, various fruits and veggies (yum!), candy for Dad when he goes offshore, and some cheap oriental food (huge mistake >____<).
6: Got home and waited for Trading Spaces. It was a rerun, but it was so old that I didn’t mind watching it over again. I love watching Frank on there. I think he’s so underrated.
7: Stayed home and played Black&White 2 all night till Mom and Dad got home from Sam’s.
8: Watched the end of American Idol with Mom and Dad. Set tomorrow’s show to tape.
9: Got back on here and played Black&White 2 again. God thag ame is so all-absorbing.

And that’s about it...although that really does sound like a lot. I do intend to call the Staffing place to see if they have anything new tomorrow morning...after Gilmore Girls of course ^.^

Oh! I got an e-mail from Chibi (amai_tenshi)! She said she sent me a letter in reply to the letter that I sent her, which should be great to read when I finally get her. That reminds me...I should probably ask Odango (chaineddove) if she ever got the Snail Mail letter that I sent her. Oh well.

Now that it is so late, I intend to watch Supernatural and then go to bed. Goodnight!

Holy Quadrupeds, my arms are killing me. We really went to town on the room today. We got all the trim (that we could get to) done, and we put a coat of kiltz on the remaining walls (that we could), then we put two coats of paint on the walls that were already kitlzed. We are now waiting for the walls to dry so we can continue.

And that’s all that’s happened this morning so far. Just painting, though we did take a small break after we’d done all the trim to watch Gilmore Girls. In other news: Mom and I have noticed that we are not born painters. We do an ok job, but we’re not very good at it. I keep telling Mom not to worry about it too much, and that we’ll just tell people that we wanted a ‘slightly distressed’ look for the walls. I’d buy it. They do it on Trading Spaces all the time.

Oh well, I shall now continue eating and then see if I can relax a bit more before we start painting again. Later.
