In case you didn’t know, being sick is not fun =,= After visiting the doctor Tuesday, I found out that I had a cold. Since getting medicine for it, I’ve slowly been getting better. I still feel really lousy very often, but it’s not as bad. However, since it’s passed (mostly), I’ve started cleaning my room and I’m gonna be calling luniXman to come over and see what’s wrong with AMOS. I cannot wait to be back online fully. I feel like I haven’t played WoW in ages and let’s not eve talk about being able to post, e-mail, and buy things at my own leasure.

I keep getting tired spell. I hope they pass quickly, beacue only a few charts came in and I’ve got plenty of time left to work =.= Is it Friday yet?

Harvest Moon

Beware, for I am: Bored Bored

Work was interesting today. Seriously. I’ve always gotten an unwelcome vibe from the ladies down stairs (with the exception of Alita), but it seems there were too many straws placed onto the camels back today...and by camel...I mean Karen...not that she’s at all like a camel...I’m just using that...what’s it called...idiom? Well anyway. The copy machine broke yesterday, and Lacy told Nicole that they were complaining downstairs about how much I use the copy machine and how much Lacy uses the postage machine. They said something about ‘monitoring the amount of paper we use’ I think. And there was a package that we had to pay for the postage or something, but Karen wouldn’t give it to Lacy till the amount was paid...something like $1.17. But no one had any petty cash on them, so we couldn’t pay. So Karen wouldn’t hand over the package. Finally Donna went down stairs and agreed to work with Tracy over it. I really hope we get that scanner soon...then we wont need the copy machine. Or the stupid filing cabinets. Oh well.

Oh yeah. I brought shrimp dip with chips to work for a snack, and I was gonna share with everyone downstairs too...but when I mentioned it, Lacy and Nicole said not to. After talking it over it was pointed out that there have been times when they’ve ordered sandwich platters and such and not invited us in to share. /shrugs, I suppose it’s just my good, Christian upbringing that was making me want to be generous with everyone. My bad =.=

Speaking of religion, linuXman sent me a link to this video on Utube. At first I was like, “Ok...that’s a little weird.” And then I ended up laughing at it. Especially the ending. It was just funny. And then I felt bad for laughing at something that was sacrilegious. Tangled web, man. Tangled web. Anyway. I now submit it for your opinions.

Yeah...so.That’s life thus far. Haven’t gotten anything in (Bill or Beatrice), and no notification from Amazon yet. So just sitting pretty and trying not to either wear myself out at work or bore myself to death at home. I guess that’s all for now. I’m gonna go rewatch something…don’t know what yet. G’night.

PS: Oh yeah! I loaned Lacy The Fellowship of the Ring because she said she hadn’t seen it. She hasn’t seen it all yet, but she said she loved it. And her son’s been watching it with her. And her hubby wants to see it too. I’m so glad to be inducting people into the fold…even if she is just watching because of all the hot guys...Ah well.

The best laid plans

Ok. So, today’s nothing special. It’s church, which is normal. Linuxman is planning on doing research on different religions and belief systems and having a lesson or semester on that, which should be really cool. I find other religions and faiths to be interesting. Especially their origins.

Mom and Dad kinda changed their future all over again. Ya know, years ago, they said that when I was ready (aka when my car was paid for) they’d let me move into the A-frame house and live there. Then they decided they wanted to move to Tennessee (well, Mom decided, and Dad was game). Especially after the hurricanes and all. Then Dad realized that they have snow in Tennessee, and that plan went out the window. Now they’ve decided that they want to buy a huge camper/motor-home and drive it all over the U.S. helping people. It’s a Christian organization where people go all over the world and they help build homes for the needy (kinda like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, only with less publicity and glamour). So now they want me to stay here at this house, and they’ll drive all over helping people and seeing the beauty of the U.S. (because God knows there’s beauty out there, it’s just hard to find with all those people in the way -.-), and they’ll call and write and check in every now and then when they feel like it, and then they’ll be off helping others whenever they get restless.

Fine with me. I get to live alone and do whatever while they play hero. No big deal. Ya know as a home-body I really don’t understand the restless urges and need to change. I adapt to circumstances and then get used to them. I enjoy my routine. I’m a creature of habit, I like planning ahead and having maps and schedules and so forth. If they wanna go off and be helpful in their golden years, that’s fine with me. And the fact that they want me staying home so they’ll have something to return to when they get tired of the road only makes it better.

So, now it looks like I’ll be staying down here in South LA unless I actually get out and move myself (which is also a possibility in 10 or so years). Now, all I have to worry about is getting another job -.-

Ok, I wouldn’t really be posting, but some cool things happened at church tonight, and that doesn’t happen often so I figured I should post so that if I look back I can remember it. Damn...what a run on. Take a breath, MM.

Ok. So, Aunt Batty came and got Fred not to long before we left for church. I got some final pictures of him, but I’m debating whether I want to actually post them or not. But that’s not the cool thing...Oh yeah! And we had hawks fighting in our yard today! I heard some screeching, and I looked out my window, and there’s this huge hawk just standing on the ground right outside. And he’s screeching and looking around, so I raced to get my camera, but when I got back another hawk dives down and nearly clobbers the first hawk. And then they flew into a tree that was really far away and screeched at each other for a while. Then they stopped. But that wasn’t what was cool either!

OK. Church. So, I get to church, and I start writing. Now, my rule is that I write when people are milling about (it keeps people away if they think you’re busy), and I can write whenever the pastor is preaching (especially if he’s being repetitive and boring), but during the song service I don’t write. Why? Well, because I’ve had moments when I don’t know what to write, and I’ll listen to the words of the songs and get an idea. It’s not even the words of the songs they sing...sometimes it’s just the flow of the beat and the feel of the music...it gets me in the mood. It works so I don’t question it.

So, after the song service started I’m sitting there on the back row, nearest to the corner, where it’s darkest in the entire church (unless I were to find a closet, and then I couldn’t write), when Brother El. Comes over and whaps me on the shoulder. I mean whaps me good too. I nearly fell over. And he teases me and says something like,

“Don’t ignore me! Pay attention!”

Well, luniXman just happened to be walking towards the door right by him, and he kinda playfully shoves El, and he’s like,

“Don’t hit my sister! What are you thinking!”

And Brother El’s all, “She was ignoring me! I don’t have to put up with that!”

And luniXman says, “She wasn’t ignoring you. She was giving you the respect she figured you deserved.” Then he looks at me and says, “Did I say that?”

And I’m like, “Out loud?”

That made my day. It was hilarious. It didn’t help that luniXman was wearing that shirt that looks like the Matrix, and it says “Messiah” and underneath that it says, “Jesus is the One.”

Ok, so next. I wrote 9 pages of the next chapter in the EQ Saga. Yup, that’s right. I wrote out the intro...yup, that’s right, the intro is 9 pages long. Then again, I could type that sucker up and it’d only be like 2 pages on Word. But still! Writing that much is an accomplishment! I looked up and I was like, “What!” because someone was tapping my shoulder and my Dad was like, “Uh, do you wanna go?” and I’m all like, “Oh...uh...yeah. Hold on a sec!” It was amusing. Then we went to Whataburger and I wrote out another half a page after I’d eaten. I think Mom was trying to get me to be social, but I was there for two things: to eat, and to write. If they want me to be social, they can come and sit with me.

So that was my night. I’ve already taking my pills (with some hot coffee because I was coughing my longues up), and I’m gonna go and shower quick, before the sleeping pills kick in. Hmm, I wonder if taking sleeping pills with coffee would be considered redundant...

Goodnight!
