msmoon: (Warcraft - Yaviel Other Half)

So...not much happened yesterday. Work dragged on...I got home, showered and got on WoW. Darkmoon Fair is in full swing in Mulgore, so Hothien kidnapped Wenny and took her to the festival...she has a jub-jub hatchling, a bunch of booze, and plenty of foods that she’ll never eat…oh, also, they tonked each other to death and met a nice fire named Bob. That was amusing. Wenny failed at the cannon thing twice =..= Thank God for soulstones and such. Still it's really cool. Then they sat, just outside the Bloodhoof village, fishing out of Stonebull Lake. Was nice and peaceful. The two of them are really enjoyable when they’re just talking and being nice to each other.

I wrote a little fic-let, which is up on
[info]ruby_unicorn, about Yaviel, because Scamp told me that she was writing a fic that she thought up about how Yaviel and Carandole could find each other. Her fic has drama in it and all, so my little, measly fic about Yaviel really does lead up to the drama quite nicely. If only because it shows her missing him and trying to distract herself and all that jazz. I really can't wait to see what Scamp does with her end of the fic.

Over the weekend, I bought myself a few movies. Most of them were in the bargain bin, so they were only $5. I did go ahead and splurge on
Iron Man, but...C’mon...it’s Iron Man. The other movies I got are Haven, What Woman Want, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Mask of Zorro and Spaceballs. Kinda finny, but I’ve yet to watch anything but Iron Man. Then again, I got Bridge to Terabithia in from BlockBuster, so I was a little busy (crying my eyes out, thank you very much). The next movie on my queue is Penelope, and I’m very much looking forward to that. I wub Christina Ricci.

...oh yeah. Last night, while I was playing
, I thought I heard something...but I ignored it, thinking it was just my imagination or my fan rustling papers or something (and of course, when you ignore it, it's always something real and not just you imagining things - unlike when you actually try to figure it out and it turns out to be nothing!). This morning, as I ambled into the bathroom, and little brown fuz-ball ran across the floor. After rubbing my eyes and waiting, I saw the little fuz-ball, and it turned out to be a mouse. I’m not frightened of mice at all, so I was like, “Awww, is a little mouse!” I’m gonna try to get one of those clear traps that my uncle has that you can trap them in without hurting them, and then just letting him go out in the woods behind my house. You can’t just let ‘em be, and I really am loath to hurt the little thing (he’s so scared of me!) so…yeah.

That’s all really...Can’t think of anything else. Guess I’ll talk to you later, Sunshines.

Mass Migration

There’s only a few critters I mind. If I see a bug I don’t know, then I generally don’t feel comfortable around it, and roaches are never going to be on my good list. But most insects and reptiles and small creepy-crawlies…they’re not something that bothers me. I even get the occasional lizard in my house (how is anyone’s guess), and I tend to catch them, talk to them comfortingly, explaining that they’re much better off outside where there’s ample food and then place them outside and let them scurry off.

But Sunday afternoon...I was feeling very very bad. So I went to my room to lay down and maybe listen to music or read or something…I laid down…and did a complete “...OMG...WTF! Quoiquoiquoi?” as I found small dots were crawling on my ceiling/walls. I quickly put my glasses back on, turned on the light and found 8 or 9 ladybugs all over the place. It was by far one of the most bizarre things that had occurred in the Nexus. Don’t get me wrong, I like ladybugs and all, but that doesn’t mean I want a mass migration in my bedroom. I’d seen a ladybug here and there…and I really didn’t think much of it. But this could not be ignored. I swept them off the walls (and they ended up flying off and walking on the walls over my living room, which I’m ok with since I don’t sleep in my living room), but not before I got it on camera. Not that ladybugs photograph well, but at least I still have that as a memory from my first house ^..^

Monday was hard...I just decided to take Midol all day long since my bloody hell week decided to cut short the PMS half of the cycle and save all the hurt up for the few days I am on my cycle. I told the girls at work, thank God for Midol otherwise I would’ve killed them all slowly. But, I made it through. Mom called me half way through the day and asked if I’d meet her at Chili’s for supper. We did, and we had a reasonably good time. Then she told me I had another package, which I was hoping would be the two copies of The Devil Does Exist that I’d bought. They’re late, and I’m anxious to get them in. So after eating we went over to her house and I grabbed my stuff. Turned out it was a gift from my Twin. I was a happy bunny. Of course, now I have more manga to add on to my Manga Wish list @ Amazon =..= Such is life. I called her last night to tell her how excited I was, but all I got was voice mail. And when I leave voice messages I tend to sound like a cereal killer...so I really hope it doesn’t disturb her ^..^ I just thought how funny it’d be if that wasn’t her voice mail, and someone who I had no connection to got that voice mail…especially with the Charlie the Unicorn references at the end there.

I also called Reiko and asked how much it took to fill up her tank, since I offered to pay for her gas if she was too strapped to come to our Christmas party. Turns out she and her boyfriend were looking for an apartment or house in Harahan, but before they could find one, her current roommate freaked out on them and threw her out. So now Reiko’s back with her parents…I, for the life of me, cannot imagine me and my boyfriend living with my parents, but I guess desperate times and all that.

I need more boxes...=..=’

Well, I’m going to work now. See ya’ll later, Sunshines.

My eggies hatched yesterday! Take a look!

Ain't they cute!

Gomen ne, about the last few posts. I haven't been feeling great lately and it made me late on posting the next chapter of the EQ Saga. I did manage to clean my room up a bit Saturday, but it's still a wreck, and I hurt my left arm somehow, and for the past three days I haven't been able to move it the right way without it hurting. Good thing I work with doctors and nurses. Mrs. L said to take some IB Profin or some Motrin for the inflamation because it sounds like something is puting pressure on the nerve there. So I did and now my arms a bit better. It's just sore.

I'm also still getting used to LJ's new entry posting thing. It looks a lot like MySpace's thing only without all the hassel -.- (aka it's easier).

Here I thought both my ‘Mouto-chans were leaving me last weekend, and it turns out it was only Reiko. Chibi doesn’t leave till this Friday. If I'da known that, I might've tried to set up another get together. At least so I could give Chibi  some of the Manga that I stole from Reiko ..heh..so yeah.

Well, I gotta go ahead and start getting ready. Later!

Ok. So...many of you may recall when I made a post back here, stating that my parents intended to go RVing when they retire and leave me to manage the houses. That plan...has been altered slightly. My Dad intends to buy some land farther North. Where? Are you ready for this? Arkansas. /cocks head to the side I can hear Chibi’s giddy screams all the way from Searcy. My Dad is all-but convinced that the perfect place to live is in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. So...from what I understand, the idea now is to retire, buy land, do MAPS (the thing where they travel around in an RV and help people), eventually build two houses on said pre-bought land, and then have us move up. From what I can gather from my Dad, he seems to think that MAPS will prepare him on how to build things...like houses. Although I must say...I’d rather have a contractor -.- Don’t get me wrong, the gesture is made with all the greatest of intentions, but my dad just isn’t a carpenter. I don’t think that any amount of running all over the US whether there be training from experts or not is going to change this. If it hasn’t changed in 65 years, it won’t change that quickly.

Ok. Onto the rest of life as it stands. Today was great if only because Mom felt good today. It’s been the first day in almost 3 weeks that she’s been able to feel good the entire day. We got up and cleaned house a little. Then we went to town. We bought some awesome wall art for my room, which I shall photograph and post eventually. Then we got groceries.

When we got home, I’d gotten a call from another place that I’d sent a resume to. It’s a physical therapy place here in town. The position is only part time, but it’s $7.00 an hour. Right now, I’ll take what I can get, thanks. I have an interview set up tomorrow at 3:15. All ready I’m liking this. This is the first interview I haven’t had to wake up early to get ready for ^_^. The lady I spoke with on the phone sounded very nice...She explained the job and asked plenty of questions about my previous work and volunteering, which made me wonder what the heck we’d talk about in the interview O_o...Oh well. I’m sure she’ll have something.

Other good things to note: Chibi posted today. It’s just good to hear from her. I miss her.

Also, Reiko stopped by after work to check her MySpace. Unfortunately, she didn’t much like the picture that I edited of her the other day. She says, and I quote, “This is a terrible picture of me. The graphics are great, but the picture of me sucks.” I take that to mean that she didn’t approve of the base image and therefore doesn’t like it edited. …/shrug Whatever.

I guess that’s all for now. Goodnight to all...now go away.

I couldn’t help myself…

It’s [livejournal.com profile] tinhuviel’s fault.
