Playing Chicken with a Cat
2002-Oct-20, Sunday 09:21 pmI got a e-mail from Amazon.com to tell me that my order for the EQ Atlas has been shipped. That came Friday. So ...I dunno when I’ll get it but it shouldn’t be long...maybe by this week. All I really know is that it was shipped out from Campbellsville KY at 6:55PM on the 18th.
Also, the clutch at The Keltic Rose Isle closes tonight at 11:59...so...we’ll probably find out who gets eggs...Wednesday or Thursday...It takes them a while to go over everything, and I can’t blame them. And plus, they have lives.
I decided I should do my persuasive speech on The Benefits of the Internet...but I really don’t have a clue as to where to start. I mean I have tons of points that I could work off of. There’s the ability to put your opinion on the web through a web site, there’s the ability to talk and e-mail people you might never otherwise have been able to encounter, there’s the support groups or mailing groups you can join, there’s –ok what else is there—there’s the ability to search for information, and of course shopping for things you might never find. But I can’t think of how to word it...I’ll just have to wait till I absolutely have to, then it’ll all just come out at once and I can organize it -.-
I’ve been playing more Black&White lately. I restarted my game, ‘cause I couldn’t remember how to steer that well. I started out with a cow as my creature—just for fun—then I upgraded to a sheep—not much of an upgrade really—and now I’m getting him to work out so he gets stronger.
Ok what else is there to talk about?...Oh yes! The cat we played chicken with. Ok when we went to turn into drive way there was a cat running towards us and when she got really close she laid flat down and just stared at us. Dad stopped and turned slowly and she ran off the other way. She was a pretty gray with stripes and a while belly and sock cat. But she looked...kinda fat. In a pregnant sort of way. But anyway.
It’s late and I haven’t taken my shower yet. This took a while to type up, ‘cause I was feeding petz and checking things out online. Oh well. That’s all she wrote.
