Hello all. It's time once again for MM's Daze. That's like a big joke, 'cause it's supposed to be MM's Days, yet it's written Daze as in dazed so it's funny. Get it? Ah whatever. Anyway, we're going for something a little different this entry. Instead of trying to think of what to say I've made a small list of the things that I'm always ranting about anyway an am just going to update you on them. I've been doing that with my 'Moto's for e-mails and it really helps to address everything at once. Ok ready? Here we go.
Health
Ah my health. A constantly varying enigma. What can I tell you about my health? Well, I went to the New Orleans just this morning (had to wake up at 5:30AM because my lab work started at 7:30) and took a four hour blood test. This is how it's supposed to go. You go in. You tell them you're here for the four hour blood test (which is either for lactose or glucose tolerance) they take you in back and take a few vials of blood. In a few minutes they mix up a solution and you have to drink it. Then every hour you go back and after five more needle pricks you're allowed to go. How did it really go? Well the latter part was just like it was supposed to be. However we got there at 7:00AM and the doors weren't open. So we all went back and sat in our cars. Then someone drove up and went to check the doors a few minutes later and they were open. These two guys were getting in a fight about who was supposed to go first. The guy who actually arrived there first and the guy who opened the door. It got so bad, the lady behind the counter told the two men to sit at opposite ends of the room, and if she heard any more out of them she'd call the police. That was certainly interesting. But for the rest of the test it went fairly well. Dad and I were sitting in that freezing office, bored out of our minds for the whole duration of it. It started at 7:15ish and ended at 11:00. I went and ate - because, y'know, whenever they need blood or anything you have to fast - and then we went home. But as for my actual current health. All we can say for sure, is that nobody knows what's wrong. One doctor says I have Ulcertic Colitis, but since he took small, black-and-what pictures the other doctor can't tell. So no one really knows what's going on.
Work
Work has slowed down considerably. Over the holidays we actually got some serious hours in and now we're back to the red-shirts working on weekends and the supervisors taking the week days. And for some odd reason James put me to work Sunday, and I couldn't get out of it. On my availability it says I'm unavailable on Wednesdays, Sundays, and Saturday after 6. But he had me working on a Sunday. So that night I mentioned it to him that I was still unavailable on Sundays. And now for some weird reason I'm listed as NA on Fridays Sundays and Wednesdays, so MM isn't making that much money. I really need to fill out a new vailability sheet though. I was told that there's some unspoken rule hat you're supposed to fill out new availability sheets for the next year at he end of the old one. Of course since it's an 'unspoken rule' no one told me about it and I didn't turn one it. Oh well. Whatever ne?
School
School is about to start next week (can you hear me shouting for joy about that? *sarcasm*) It's weird 'cause we start school on the 12th but the day we have to go get our books is the 13th. But then usually when you're there the first day or so you don't do anything. But still it's odd. I have Business English, Word, and two Accountings. God help me. But I'm hoping to get the rest of my accountings back to back like that, 'cause if I do, I won't have to worry about Accounting after next semester. If it doesn't kill me in the mean time.
Web Site
My web site needs an update in the worst of ways. I've been doing so much to try and update it, and it's almost ready for an unveiling, but it feels like it still needs some major work. Or at least it feels like it needs some major work. I mean right now it's almost updated and all, but the stuff I'm working on now, is stuff that I can't seem to get through, so it feels like it's taking longer. Oh well, I'll get it all done eventually.
EQ stuff
As for EQ. I have innumerable characters now. I'm experimenting - or about to be experimenting - with something new on my web pages about my characters. Instead of having a bunch of pages about all these characters, I was thinking about having like theme pages. Put all the characters that are related - some way, somehow related in one way or another - on one page and having smaller paragraphs about it all. It'd be cool if I did that for all of them, and I'm thinking it'd be less confusing, but I'm still kinda playing around with it. So I'm gonna wait for after this update and see if I get any positive feedback on it and then go from there.
Also, I'm like, super into the EQ RPG books now. (Was it just me, or was I starting to sound all Valley girl right there?) I'm now on a personal quest to own every EQ RPG book their will be and become a Game Master. For right now I only have, The Temple of Soluesk Ro, The Players Handbook and I just ordered the Game Master's Guide. They have a bunch of books left to buy though. Next I wanna get the last book in the RPG guides: EverQuest Roleplaying Game: Monsters of Norrath. The books they have left are Al'Kabors Arcana, Realms of Norrath: Freeport, Befallen, Solusek's Eye, Realms of Norrath: Forests of Faydark, Luclin, Realms of Norrath: Dagnor's Cauldron, Castle Mistmoore, Heroes of Norrath: Casters & Priests, Islands of Mist, Realms of Norrath: Everfrost Peaks, and the Everquest Trades Concordance. But EQRPG.com has Heroes of Norrath: Fighters & Hybrids, Plane of Hate, Realms of Norrath: Field of Bone, and Fortress of Ykesha. But Amazon.com doesn't have those 'cause they're coming out late this year. I'm kinda surprised they have all they have. Yikes, this EQ entry is getting big. Maybe I should stop there... Ok I just went into serious rant mode. Oh well. Wanted a long entry anyway. I guess that's all for now, Mina. I'll write again whenever I remember to (heh). Ja.
