It's just the Ocean...

Wai! MM’s DreamWeaver is actually cooperating with her again! So I’m updating to MMEQDB 4.0! Also I’ll probably write more in my diary and on my fics. I’m so happy it worked.

Ok so how’s things been? Well, they’ve been ok I guess. I finally got my car. It’s a Ford Focus, and it’s fully loaded and is a color that they call Tundra Metallic but it looks like a dark jade if you ask me. It runs like a dream and I’m loving it.

Something I wish would hurry up and happen; I sent off for some stuff from Amazon.com and I keep checking to see if they’ve shipped it yet. I ordered The Silmarillion—a book about the Lord of the Rings—National Geographic Beyond the Movie – The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, J.R.R. Tolkien – Master of the Rings – The Definitive Guide to the World of the Rings, and A Visual Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Two Towers. All of them are expected to arrive somewhere between Jan 27-30 except The Definitive Guide to the World of the rings...That’s coming somewhere between Feb 2-6.

Oh, in case you’re wondering about the title. That had something to do with work tonight. AMC has it’s own radio station and plays songs 24/7. And one of those songs is that song that’s like... “It’s just emotion taking me over” and all that. Well, the girl I worked with tonight—Jade—heard it and started singing. When Jade gets bored she sings. But anyway she started singing and she sang

“It’s just the ocean taking me over...” and I was like,

“^.^ Um I think it’s Emotion...” we laughed about that for the rest of the night.

Jean was in a sort of dilemma. She had to find a place for these poor two week old puppies. She’s a member of the humane society and the puppies mother was put to sleep—don’t ask why I don’t know—and now the puppies aren’t eating anything, so she was trying to contact her husband to ask him if the lady who had the puppies could just swing by her house and drop them off. Well, he was on the internet and he didn’t have the CallWave thing up. So she talked it over with the managers and they said it’d be ok if the puppies were brought their as long as the public didn’t see them. Well, Jean kept trying to call her husband and finally she got the answering machine and when she did she said,

“Hi...this is Jade at the Palace. We’re calling to say that Jean collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. We’ve been trying to reach you for quite sometime but we couldn’t. Could you please call back, she’s really bad.” And he called back and Jean was all like, “One of these days, we’re gonna get robbed and I’m gonna get shot and call you to tell you I love you with my last breath and you’ll miss it ‘cause you’ll be on the internet!” Needless to say the night wasn’t boring.

I saw Mr. Rogers too. He asked how I was doing and all. In fact I saw a few people I knew. Tamera, Russell, and Mr. Rogers. He said he hadn’t seen me around, and to stop by and visit him when I could. He’s a nice guy really. He gave me a 4.0 so I can’t say too much about him.

Also my Imouto-chans and I are gonna try getting together Sunday. I hope it all works out. I also hope Chibi doesn’t read any of this ‘cause then it’d give away the surprise that I got a new car. I hope Reiko hasn’t told her either. Oh well, I guess we’ll see when we get there.

I’m really tired now—happy but still tired—so I’m gonna go ahead and close. OpenDiary’s giving me a bit of trouble but I’ll just give it time. Tomorrow I work 12:30-5:30. One of my favorite shifts. So I don’t know when I’ll write again...Soon though. Very soon. That’s all she wrote.
