Blood Work and Body Aches

Hey Minna. My arm hurts. I went to school today, nothing too unusual. Did all the applications while the teacher was babbling. Then Speech class came and did nothing but took notes in that. We have a test Wednesday-which I'll be cramming for tomorrow-and the teacher gave us notes on nothing but the test.

After class I went to Wal-Mart to get some breakfast foods, and then went to Office Max 'cause I've got a dollar to my name now and I needs a job. Then I came home, though it seemed to take forever. Then Mom tells me she needs me to go with her to Thibodaux. She wanted to apply for a job with the blood center, but she couldn't drive and look for the house number at the same time so she wanted me to come. I was starving but I went anyway.

While there Mom asked if I wanted to give blood and I think my exact words were,

"Sure why not."

So while Mom was filling out the app. I was filling out paperwork. They ask a bunch of questions. Not just on diseases you might have, no no, they also ask about sex life—which I don't have so that was pretty pointless—I mean questions like, Have you be sexually active with a man with Hepatitis B? Have you be sexually active with a woman with Hepatitis B? Have you been sexually active with a man, who was active with another man? I was like,

" o.O I'm not sexually active at all so...Still a virgin after all." The guy's all like

"Thank you for your honesty but we have to ask anyway."

Then they prick your finger and gather a little bit of blood in a small tube and see how much Iron you have in your blood. I think you have to have between 35% and 55%. Mine was 42% so I cleared that.

Then, after you stop bleeding, they let you sit in this chair that's like those beds they advertise on TV, you know the ones you can adjust like hospital beds? Only this one was leather. So your feet are propped up, and you're reclining slightly. Really, really comfortable. After a few minutes he came up and tied a rubber thingy around my arm and after a little preparation he stuck that big old needle in my and asked me to keep squeezing my fist. After a few minutes he said I wasn't putting out any more blood and he called in another, more experienced nurse and she informed everyone that the vein had collapsed -.-

So now my arm's very, very bruised. Tomorrow I have my computer class to...good thing it's my left arm. Anyway, after that mom took me to Burger King and fed me. Then we finally came home. I fed my Petz and then took a shower. Now I'm online and waiting for my Twin-san but I don't think she's on...either that or she's on EQ.

This girl just IMed me and asked me to Cyber with her...Heh, I was nice and Christian like in my reply.

"I was just hanging and out and kind bored and kinda horny. Wanna cyber with me? Please please? "

"Absolutly not."

"Ok, I can take a hint. But if you might want to check out my web site. It may make you change your mind."

"Are you a lesbian? Cause I'm female and that's the only way you can be interested, and if you are, then I'm not interested, 'cause I'm just a nice Christian girl from down south."

And that's the end of that. Oh well I'm gonna get on EQ, since Rashi-chan got off.
