Oh, my aching back

Ok, so I’ve been telling everyone that I am incapable of moping because of my back right? I used to have to back in the days when I worked at the palace, but it wasn’t too often. Unfortunately, I knew that Mom, in her current state of health, could not sweep and mop the Nexus. I offered to mop…and I did. Dear, God in Heaven…I am so happy that I’m getting a swifter wet jet.

I had forgotten the pain that comes from it…mostly because in the last two years I haven’t had to do any moping whatsoever. But the pain radiating in my lower back, down through my legs is just awful. I cannot sit in any comfortable position. The only thing I’m surprised about is that my arms aren’t killing me, because lifting and swinging that heavy mop around wasn’t easy. Don’t worry though, it only hurts when I move any part of my body that is somehow connected to my back =..=

I woke up this morning, and I had no idea if we were wearing our Saints Shirts with our jeans or if it was our burgundy shirt with khakis. I remembered that last week we wore the Saints shirt on Thursday, so I decided to wear that. Of course, we weren’t wearing the saints shirts, so now I’m the odd one out with my jeans and saints shirt. Not that anyone really minds or anything, it’s just funny.

That house...I just can’t wait till the wood floor goes down. I mean, I moped and I was trying so hard to get the dirt up, but there are parts where they’ve scratched the tile and the dirt has gotten into the scratches, making it impossible to get it up at all. Mom said that the guy said he understood that we wouldn’t be able to get everything up (he’d already seen the state of the floor) but if we could just get it as clean as possible, it’d be fine. He and Mom are supposed to meet today at 3 to purchase the wood floor. I’ll have to go over and take final pictures of the house, making sure to include the floor.

I need to get a change of address form from the post office…what else? What else? Uh...I think I’ve changed my address on all of the web sites I buy stuff from. I can’t think of anything else that absolutely needs to be done.

We’re getting tons of rain from Humberto. Makes me want to go home and go back to bed…then again…I feel that way all the time. But if this is the worst we get all hurricane season, we’ll be awfully lucky.
