Quality Time & Window Shopping

Wow. It kinda feels like I haven’t really posted in a while, when really I have been. I guess I just haven’t been posting with updates….more fun stuff. And stuff’s been happening, but…I dunno. I just haven’t gotten around to writing. God knows I’ve had the time.

I’ve been trying to spend more time with Mom and Dad in the evenings/afternoons when I get home from work. I make a point to watch America’s Funniest Home Videos with them. Mom and I even went to Pier 1 and Bed, Bath & Beyond yesterday after I got off from work. We just agreed to meet there, and we looked around a bit. I liked a few things that I saw, but even with so much percent off the price was too steep. Bed Bath and Beyond was fun too if only because they have so amny useful items….but once again, they’re very expenseive. I can get the same things at Wal-Mart….even if I can’t find the same quantity of things -.- Mom and I are supposed to meet up at the mall today to look at their Crocs. I need to get a pair of the croc flops.

We’ve got lights and water at the Nexus. Mom went and had them put it on in her name though, because she said it was $20 cheaper. And $20 saved is $20 earned ^.^ We went over and looked at it, and all those cleaning supplies that were there last time I checked had vanished. Mom said we’d try to get in there some time this weekend and clean the place up a bit. It depends on how things pan out...

I know that Scamp might (just might) be coming over this Friday…don’t know how she’s getting here or when it’ll happen exactly, but the tentative plan is that she’s coming over. I’m going to just assume that until told otherwise. Also, Chibi has said she’d be coming home on the 26th or 27th. She wasn’t sure. She didn’t say which month…so I assumed it’d be this one. So, I’m not sure how the weekend will pan out. If Chibi does come down, I’m definitely going to want to go over there and visit. Especially since I’m not sure how long she’ll be down. Heck, I don’t even think she knows. We’ll figure it out. I think Chibi, Scamp and Reiko all enjoyed each other’s company when we last got together, so I don’t think visiting with the ‘Mouto-chans would put a terrible crip in our style. It would just multiply the madness ^.^

Ashely started working this week. Monday she came in and got almost all the sanning done, and then finished up the rest on Tuesday. Now, she’s doing the mail (sorting it and putting it into charts and then labeling the charts). After she’s done with that, she’ll give me the charts and I’ll put them in stats. So far she fits in, even if she is a little quiet. I think that’s just her being new here though. She works hard and gets the job done, so that’s all that matters…I guess.

You know, I’ve been talking about how there’ll be such a huge change whenever I move into the Nexus...how my interent will be so limited…but I work with access to the internet all the time. In fact, I think now I post more at work, than I do at home. O.o Probably because sometimes, I don’t want to look at a computer after doing it all day =_= But still, I’ll have access if anything needs to get done. So no worries.
