msmoon: (Furuba - Anger Level)
Oh my God! Being without internet has become a serious issue now. I’m so bored at home. It’s just rediculous. I hate having to wait for work. And to top it all off, my computer has gotten slower. It takes about 30 minutes to get on, log on and actually bring up anything. And then it lags between actions =,= It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even turn it on anymore. What’s the point? Even worse, my nerdy computer friend linuXman has announced that he can’t help us. So we’re gonna have to just break down and ask the geek squad at Best Buy or something. I really just don’t know what else to do. I’ve saved everything I needed off of it (I think), so it doesn’t bother me if they have to whipe it clean.

In other news...I’ve written a huge letter to my cousin on something that I really want to post about, but can’t yet. I’ll wait till she’s told me she received the letter first. Then we’ll see.

Oh, yeah, I had a weird dream that I’ll be posting about later. ^_____________^

Also, I’ve uploaded a crap-load of pictures to the ‘Stuff’ Album on my FaceBook. That was ammusing. Other than that, I’ve got a double quarter pounder with cheese calling my name. Adios!

Harvest Moon

Ms. Dolittle

msmoon: (World of my Own)
I had the strangest dream early Saturday morning. I woke up early because of the weather. The rain was torrential and the wind was more temperamental. I remember laying awake and contently listening to it. Sometime after that I woke up because of a leg cramp in my right leg. After finally drifting back off to sleep I had this dream....

I dreamed that I was an orphaned girl who lived alone with foster parents. We went to a zoo or something like it one day, and all the animals were acting very strange. After observing that, several of the animals broke loose. They were mostly herbivores though, so it seemed odd that they were so aggressive. A lot of the elephants and rhinos were causing trouble my running at the guests and scaring them off. My foster parents just left me there, fleeing for their lives.

I remember looking around the damaged zoo, and seeing three big cats running at me; two lions (a big male and his mate), and a leopard. I ran to the nearest tree and climbed as high as I could. I kept hearing angry voices, like in cartoons when there’s a mob scene. Not so much talking, but angry grunts and voices coming through once in a while. Finally I said something like “Stop it!” and the three big cats stopped jumping up at me. I said that they were scaring me and they should be ashamed for ganging up on me. The leopard climbed up into the tree and looked at me with his chin resting on his paws, Then he said, ‘I’m sorry. Let’s be friends.’ His mouth didn’t really move, but I heard him say it audibly nonetheless. I reached over and scratched behind his ears, and he didn’t bit me, so I figured he was sincere (besides, animals don’t’ lie).

After I finally climbed down, the lioness apologized to me too. She said that they had all thought I was going to hurt them somehow, even though that didn’t seem awfully logical once they got a good look at me. The lion was silent, letting his mate talk and just staring at me. The lioness went on to say that her name was Lilly and her mate’s name was Dandy (which I thought was awfully cute, ‘Lilly Lion’ and ‘Dandy Lion’ ^___^). I told them my name was Sarai (which is so very odd, but I had been watching the Abraham movie last night, so I’ll blame it on that =.=) and I was pleased to meet them. I asked the leopard what his name was and he said he didn’t have one. I asked him if it was ok to call him Daniel (him being safe with these lions and all). He said he didn’t mind that at all, and he thought it’d be nice to actually have something to be called by other than ‘you’ or ‘cat’.

We looked around and noticed that most of the animals had gone. The people had fled too, trying to escape them. I told them I needed to head home to check on my horse. I’m assuming either my foster parents had this horse before I came to them, and I just decided it was mine because I wanted to love and take care of it; or, that they got me the horse after I got to them because they wanted to convince me to stay. Either way, I said I was worried about my horse, who I called James, and I wasn’t going to be able to do anything till I’d learned he was safe. So we headed for my house (and I could tell it was a dream because we arrived there in almost no time at all), and the house was in shambles. My foster parents were no where to be found, so I ran to the little shoddy barn that we had and let James out. He was a big, beautiful bay horse, with no spot of white on him. He said that some large animals had come and chased everyone away. When they found only he was in the barn, they left it alone. I was upset because even if they weren’t my real parents, they had taken good care of me. I remember looking at it all, and seeing a very big elephant accompanied by a rhino coming towards me. I yelled at them that they’d made me an orphan again, and that I was all alone. I didn’t have any more family. They stopped and stared at me in shock as I started crying. Then James walked up next to me and said he’d be my family, and Daniel reminded me that he’d always be my friend. Lilly said she and Dandy would take care of me too if I need it. I was too upset at the time to really agree or be thankful, and I remember being nudged onto James’s back and them taking me away, while the Elephants and Rhinos stood there looking regretful.

I woke up in the woods, hugging Daniel in my sleep. I was resting my head against Dandy’s side, and Lilly was lying at my back. James was still standing up, keeping watch I think. I remember waking up slowly and thinking I couldn’t place who was talking. When I finally opened my eyes, I realized it was Dandy talking to James. He asked James if I had talked to him before, and James replied that while I did talk to him, he couldn’t always understand what I was saying. He elaborated that my tone and actions always showed that I was happy with him. I got up and asked where we were, and they said they’d taken me into the woods because it was safer here. James reminded me of how they’d always gotten on better in these woods because no other humans were around. We all sat and talked for a while, and I remember telling them that though I couldn’t always ‘talk’ to animals before, I could understand them very well. They said something about how they wished all humans were like me, because they don’t seem to treat people they talk to poorly. I told them that wasn’t true, and that humans treat everyone poorly. James reminded me that I had never treated him badly, and I said that was because I loved him.

Our conversation was interrupted because James said he could hear some humans coming. We headed down towards the bayou, and I told them I could hear someone talking...They said they could hear anything, and just as we were sitting there, a huge alligator lunged out of the water at us. I told him we weren’t trying to hurt him or anything, we were just trying to get away. He told me his name was Gil and he didn’t like humans who just trampeled across his territory. I told him that while we respected him and his terratory, the humans that were following us probably wouldn’t care at all. So he said we could cross the bayou and live on the other side since no humans lived there. But he had to bite my ankle to show that I’d been marked to pass. The other animals said something about how they couldn’t understand Gil, and they thought it was odd that I could. Gil bit my ankle and then he let us cross, but I had to ride on James’s back because Gil said his sister, Georgia, lived about a mile down the bayou and if she smelled the blood in the water she’d be down there in minutes. So we crossed the bayou, and Gil ate whoever it was that was following us. We lived quite happily in the woods...all in all, a interesting dream no?
