Another update

Beware, for I am: Blank

Ok. So, Mom had to go in to have a colonoscopy (sp?) done today. I’m not sure where, or exactly when it was, but I know they were up around 6:30 this morning. She’s been fasting for that past two days. Out of consideration for that, Dad decided to fast too. I got made or bought food that didn’t have much of a smell to it and just confined myself to my room. So, they leaft really early today to get that done, and I stripped all the beds and put the sheets on to wash.

I’ve been trying to keep myself busy lately...that involves a lot of getting on the AMOS to see if I can work on fan fics and getting distracted by my web site and trying to work on that while going through images of various fandoms and seeing if I can make icons out of those. I hate it when I’m busy and I don’t get much done, don’t you? Who the hell am I talking to? /shakes head anyway. This morning, while scoping the web site, and looking at images I found a few really cool people on LJ. I was looking at their journals and I was just thinking, “My God…I don’t wanna forget these people...I’d better friend them.” So I’ve increased my FL on LJ which does happen once every other blue moon or so.

Now...what am I gonna do now? Oh yeah. Now, I will go and check the washer. I’ll put on something suitable to wear to town (even though I’ve no intention of getting out of my car…thank God for drive up windows -.-), I’m gonna deposit the rent money into my bank, and then I’ll go get some KFC for Mom. She said yesterday that she wanted KFC mashed potatoes and gravy with some chicken. You know, you never notice how many food commercials there are till you start a fast...or till someone in your house has to at least. Ok so. That’s it for now. Later!

All righty then!

Beware, for I am: Excited

OK. Several things have happened since last post. Let’s go down the list shall we?

1. Went to the bank only to discover that Dad hadn’t signed the back of the check...thanks a lot, Dad. So, I went back home and looted some of the hidden money so that I could get some food. So, I went and got the food and got back.

2. As soon as I got home, Dad called. He said it was ok that I took the money and all, and in fact, he said it was a good thing. Turns out, Mom passed out a few times before they could leave. The doctors had decided not to do the colonoscopy because she was so dehydrated. Mom dehydrates at the drop of a hat, so if you tell her to fast and you make her take pills that clean her out, it only works faster. So they didn’t do the colonoscopy thing. Dumb doctors. /shakes head might as well just keep her longer and do it and get it over with.

3. Mom and Dad are home now. Mom’s resting and watching Martha. She feels terribly weak and still a bit sick. But she’s much better than she was earlier.

4. I updated my journal to a paid account! Whoohoo! I finally got a paid account. Now I have more icons! I’m soooo happy! And if you’re reading this in your friends page of your journal (and to my Twin who is reading this through e-mail), then you can’t tell, but I’ve also redone the look of my journal. I like it.

I think that’s all (as if that wasn’t enough). I’m gonna go get something more to eat and then I’ll be hanging out with Mom all afternoon long. So later!

Buttercups and Bullets

Beware, for I am: Grateful

Dad and I went to get Mom’s prescription filled this afternoon. We ended up spending an hour at the pharmacy. We got a box of peeps (purples bunnies), and two Wendy’s frosties for mom and me.

OMG, you guys. There are pink, purple and pale white buttercups all over the place. They’re so beautiful! I can’t wait till my camera batteries are charged just so I can take pictures of those little flowers. I mean, usually you see a couple here and there, but this is different. They are everywhere. And their color is inconsistent, so they spread out over the grass in varying colors; going from pink to white then down to almost lavender.

Reiko called while we were out. She said she’d call back...but I won’t be holding my breath for that to happen any time soon.

So, I’ve watched all most all of Trigun. Laughed like a kid and cried like a baby. So, now that I’ve progressed so far back through my childhood, I might as well keep watching more anime till I get sick of it…sounds like a good enough plan for me.
