Eye Poker...

Wow. This morning was another early morning ( I swear, tomorrow I will sleep late). This morning we had to get up so that Mom could go to the doctor and let them poke a hole in her eye..yeah.

The thin is, that there’s a thing in her eye that’s supposed to be deep and permit fluid to flow through the eye. But her’s has gotten significantly shallow...so the fluid can’t pass through. As a result, this condition could continue right into glaucoma. If there’s one thing Mom values, it’s her eyesight. She’s always said that she would be devastated if she lost it. So she decided to get that taken care of as quickly as possible.

The problem was the time it took. The appointment was around 8:45ish. And I had brought a notebook and book to keep occupied. But we didn’t leave till 11! It was mad! I was all like, What the Marf? So, we were starving. So, Mom came up with the idea of getting a Sonic salad to have for tonight, and we could finish off the pizza we got yesterday. It was so good. Mom’s always had this thing like a love/hate relationship with pizza. She doesn’t like the sweet tasting tomato sauce; it just tastes too processed for her. So now that we’ve found someone who makes cool pizza with not so sweet tomato sauce, it’s really wonderful.

Well, after eating, I headed over to CVS to get the eye drops Mom needed for her eyes. I figured I’d take the pics I’d been taking and get them put to CD. With any luck, I may have those uploaded by tonight...but I don’t know for sure yet. CVS was having problems though...it took me 30 minutes just to get the prescription. They said that they had 3 air conditioning units, and 2 of them blew. And so everyone was little ...frayed.

I kinda feel bad. I made another LJ alias, ruby_unicorn, and I haven’t written in it half as much as I thought I would. It’s for serious stuff, venting, and anything else I want. But, I haven’t felt inspired to write in it...at least not on a regular basis. But then, maybe it’s good I’m not using it...because I usually on use it to express when I feel bad about something, or I’m not sure about something. I also use to write up stuff creatively.../shrug. Oh well. I’ve been a little tired lately. Too tired to be creative or rant. And they said it couldn’t be done.

and that has been my morning and a bit of the afternoon. I intend to lay around and watch Trading Spaces, catering to my Mom. Later.

1. I was born in 1983.

2. I was named spur the moment.

3. My mom offered to name me after my grandmother, and my grandmother told my mother if mom named me after her she'd beat her.

4. I love being the baby of the family

5. Though I continue to mature, I will never grow up.

6. I was born with blonde hair and blue eyes. I now have dark brown hair and grey-blue eyes.

9. I am allergic to many things, but the most grievous is cat fur. I love cats, birds, & horses

14. I've owned two horses. Both horses had to be sold because I become too sick to ride them, and I couldn't stand to see them go to waste. I miss my horses. Especially my Rocky.

15. There are a few American cartoons I enjoy. I enjoy Gargoyles, Thundercats, X-men & X-men: Evolution, Batman, and Spiderman.

16. Though I enjoy American cartoons, I love anime. I love Slayers, Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket, Gundam Wing, & Magic Knight Rayearth just to name a few.

17. I love Vin Diesel's voice. But I've only seen him in The Riddick Chronicles. His body doesn't hurt the package either.

18. I rarely watch TV shows regularly, but those I do watch, I tape.

19. I'm an "obsessive perfectionist" when it comes to the things that I do. I sometimes get ideas for stories and kill the story with organizing the facts. I have lists upon lists upon lists of Characters that I'm still perfecting. So far I've hit 1,000+ characters. That's not counting some of the ones I make for random fics.

20. I've never had a boyfriend.
