Beware, for I am:
Grateful
Well today was a productive day. After waking up, Mom and I went to town with the soul purpose of buying me a few more dressy shirts. I’m not entirely sure why or how, but I always end up messing up my shirts. We went to several stores, and we didn’t really find anything that I liked or that fit me. But we did come across five shirts at Avenue and two Capri pants that are embroidered, which I like. We then got a pair of shoes for me. Black ones this time. I love my little brown ones, but they don’t go with my black slacks, which my Mom always seems to point out all the time -.- My God, I never really cared very much for fashion, and here I am trying to find one that I like so I can keep a good job. *sighs* What’s really terrible is that we all have to make ourselves look so good, or at least what the media depicts as good, just so that people will approve of us. I hate how people always judge on looks. What do looks matter to a person’s ability to do any job other than modeling and acting? None.
Ok. I’m done ranting. I promise. After that we got some lunch at Subway and I decided to try the Italian BMT for a change. I usually gravitate to either the meatball or the crab sandwiches, but I just wanted to try something new. Maybe next time, I’ll try tuna or something.
I finally got the chance to watch Kingdom of Heaven. My mom borrowed it from my cousin Tammy a few days ago. I’ve just been feeling so out of it or just plain bad lately that I haven’t been able to muster the proper enthusiasm and interest to watch it. After that I watched Fluke and Ever After; both bought at the bargain bins at Wal-Mart. Glad to take those two off my wish list. Now I’m down to only 191 items on my movie wish list. Mamma would be proud ^__^.
Now that I’ve showered, I’m gonna finish that sandwich that I got earlier (it was a foot-long), and head off to bed. Goodnight all.
MM
