And upbeat post for once

Mood: Chipper

Yo. Today was more productive than I thought it’d be. I excepted that I’d lay around and wait for Survivor to come on or something, but I actually got stuff done today. Not in the mountain-moving sense, but it was still something. I got those mood thingies done. That did take the better part of the day. But once I had my technique down, it was relatively easy...of course, by the time I had the technique down, I only had 29 things left to make!

Then I watched Ghost Hunters that I’d taped the other night. I don’t know why I keep watching it...I just love it for no good reason. It gives me ideas...none that I could discuss now, but ideas none the less. After watching that, I watched the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen again. That was fun. It’s great to revisit a movie you like. Maybe tomorrow I’ll try for something else. I surprised myself two nights ago by watching the Lion King 2, Simba’s Pride. And I found I loved it just as much as when I’d first seen it. I just love watching animated movies though. The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Aladdin, etc. They’re all old favorites. There’s just something about sitting down and watching them. Maybe it’s cause it allows me to be a kid again...I dunno.

Anyway. Survivor tonight was great. It wasn’t so much that the episode was so fantastic, it was just a break in the monotony! I mean, finally something to watch! Something that isn’t a rerun! And CSI shall come next week. I’m so happy, I could cry…Ok, not really. But it’s just great to see that new things are starting up. The down-time between seasons are way too long.

Then the President came on. We changed the channel 5 minutes into the speech. It wasn’t that we didn’t like what he was saying so much, it was just...boring. /shrug Go figure. I think it’s big of him to admit his mistakes and all.

Then I promptly got online to post in my journal. That was at 8:15 ish. ...I saw some cool-looking quizzes from purrsia-san. So, I was trying to fill them out. But Mom was watching this thing of Food Network about these master cake makers. They make wedding cakes and children’s cakes to die for. And she kept saying “Oh! Honey, look at that one!” every 2 minutes. It made things difficult. Finally she found a movie that didn’t require my attention. I didn’t finish the quizzes, but that can come at another entry...or just to fill in space if nothing else. And here I am.

And that was my day. Like it or not. Finally got around to posting in ruby_unicorn earlier too. That made me feel a little better. I feel bad if I don’t keep it up semi-regularly. But that’s really all there is for this day. So goodnight.
