So, our Christmas was yesterday :) It was a very enjoyable day. Though, Christmas practically started the night before. Mom has totally lost her voice, so all she can do is whisper -..- But night before (Christmas) last, she turned to me and said "OK, we can open one gift." With a huge grin (so really, I should've known, right?). So, I go under the tree to scoop out the gifts that I think will be good enough for both of them, but not totally take away the shock value of actual Christmas. By the time I turn around, Dad's gotten a small box that's professionally wrapped. It's suspiciously shaped, this small box. After telling them that they've spent enough money on me this year (iPod, trailer, car repairs, not to mention !groceries! etc) I happily open the box and find a beautiful amethyst pendant inside. It's lovely and I haven't stopped wearing it since I opened the gift :D It's sparkley-er than Edward Cullen!! XD

/AHEM. .... Right. So I gave Dad his present from me, and it was these velvet boxer shorts with a red hem, that had small bells attached to them... and a long green pointy hat :D Mom and I laughed about that every time he looked at it. I told him, "Now you can't sneak up on Mom!" ... we also told him that he probably shouldn't wear those on the rig :3. For Mom, she opened her Nat King Cole sings Christmas CD :) She was very pleased with it, because she does love Nat King Cole and her favorite time of the year is Christmas. Probably because her father was a tyrant who never let them celebrate. At least that's our excuse for indulging her :)

Now, as for yesterday, I was very pleased with how things went. Aside from the fact that I had to operate Zeiss (my camcorder) and my picture camera, everything was wonderful (it's a legitimate complaint! If you try to operate two mediums, one will ultimately suffer!).

We had tomato gravy and biscuits for breakfast, read the Christmas story like always and then I played "Santa"..... which is an odd term, since I've never believed in Santa <..< Curious... Anyway! Dad went first. I had gotten him some Rocky Mountain thermal clothes and some Rocky Mountain socks. They're made specifically for those who live/work/paly on snow covered mountains. He was thrilled with them, to say the least :) Mom got him a beautiful leather jacket too, and he was very pleased with that (I think it made up for the whole elf boxers the night before :D).

Mom was next. She opened two gifts from me. I got her a small travel bag that holds your make up and bathroom stuffs because I saw her admiring them for a while now. She always thinks it's too vain to get herself one for some odd reason, so I decided to do it for her. And then she opened the win chimes. She was very thrilled with those as she hadn't expected them :) Dad got mom that enormous jewelry box, and at first she was a little skeptical. It doesn't look like there's any room in there, but when you open those doors... you're amazed with it o..o' Dad complained a little, because when we opened the box, we quickly realized that we had to assemble the base of the monster -..- Assembly is the bane of our lives, I swear. But Mom also got a huge crock pot, and she'd been wanting one for ages :)

I had an enormous gift under the tree along with my presents from Reiko. It was a huge tote/suitcase for scrapbook craft stuffs. What was really funny, was when I opened it up to look inside, and there was a K-Mart bag inside with a bag that held 3 men's v-neck shirts! Mom had evidently bought that ages ago and put it there then forgot :3 But other than that, the things was empty and enormous with tons of pockets and pouches. I had fun taking everything I had assembled or collected as crafty stuffs out of the dilapidated cardboard box and putting them into my new ... thingy. I still am not sure what to call it. Craft Suitcase? Needless to say, it's about halfway full :) It weighs a ton too o..o' But I moved on to Reiko's gifts. She got me a very impressive set of dragon-grip daggers, Spirited Away (anything by Miyazaki is worshiped) and ... a pair of abalone crescent moon earrings. It's the thought that counts on the last one, and they are beautiful. I told Mom, since I don't have pierced ears, maybe I can take the charms off the earrings and fit them to a necklace or something. The daggers are freakin sweet too :D I mean, I pulled one out of the box and Mom's eyes got as big as saucers! It was pretty awesome. Over all, it was a really good Christmas.

Today hasn't been too great, for me at least. I'm still not feeling that great, but I've been pushing myself to at least try and be normal. First fir the job interview, then yesterday for Christmas and today we the church's Christmas choir production. Alicia's in Kentucky now, so the only one to help do the sound system is Mom, Brother Sam or Brother Gary.... and Brother Gary and Brother Sam are IN the production... and Mom's sick. So, I just decided to suck it up and go. The choir actually went off really well... the whole thing was nice. Unfortunately we all have to come back tonight, and I have my class to teach =..= It's not that I don't like my class or anything, it's just that I'm really not feeling well. But I'll make myself go tonight, and I'll try to take it easy tomorrow. I was going to go and hand out resumes again tomorrow... but I think I'll wait till Tuesday =..=

I guess that's all for now. I just figured it'd be a good time to update, since I never tweet on Sundays. Plus a lot of stuff had happened :) I guess I'll talk later, Sunshines.

You Should Write in a Journal
Part of what's stressing you out right now is not having all your thoughts sorted out. There's a lot of confusion and chaos going on, and you need to get a handle on it all. And there's no better way to do that than to start writing. At first your journal make not make sense to you, but that's okay. Just writing things down will help you. Over time, you'll find that it's great to have an outlet to think, vent, and dream without judgment. Just make sure to put a lock on that journal!

  Hm, I think I will :D
