Gundam Wing Obsessionist Today

msmoonI re-read a lot of the RPGs between myself and my Twin. I found out the a lot of the Future Kids got hooked up in the 240’s...So I decided to go out on a limb and start assembling their sagas. /rolls eyes I came up to a problem with Shiloh and Tracie though. It was such a pain! I found the IM where Fei told Kiara that Shiloh liked Tracie, and then Kiara decided to hook them up somehow. Then, I found another IM where he and her were together, but no actuall IM showing their hook up! So, I rescanned everything between the 230’s and the 250’s ‘cuase I knew it had to be there.
Finally I read over one of the file names “Chat between 240 & 241”. That was one of the Tenshi Christmas parties! So, I started reading that one, finding many old and humorous things. This was from when Chibi was still involved with the Tenshi. She kept going on and on about how “They bounced!” and no one but me knew she was talking about that old movie “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” ...she used to rant a lot about how the tomatoes bounced...and at any given time, she’d yell, “They bounced! They didn’t have any legs, but they bounced!” And then there was a bunch of other stuff with us back and forth. Old lines like, You obviously don’t shampoo from Space Ghost. And Look! It’s a Butterfly! From the stupid Barbie riding game. I swear you could be riding on your horse at top speed and a butterfly would flit across the screen every few seconds.
But, ANYWAY! As I was reading, I noticed that each of the Tenshi started droping out one by one. Then it was just me and Twin-san, and we started our own RPG thing and that’s where it was. So I have the whole Shiloh&Tracie thing done. I was so pleased to re-read it. I really really miss our old RPGs. We stuck with the Gundam peoples till the early 300’s. It was so much fun...and it never got dull. /smile
But enough nostalgic whimsy from me. I also cracked down and watched Gund Wing all over again. I’d bought it on DVD ages ago and watched it all. But I started re-reading our old IMs and I just wanted to watch it again. Although watching a bunch of bishie boys (and men) piloting cool mecha. So I renewed my love for the gundams, the pilots and also renewed my hatred for Relena and Dorthy…Although I’ve never been a fan of Noin or Hildie...In fact...Sally Po’s the only female on Gundam I love through and through. She’s strong and independent and does what she wants. I like that. I like Lady Une for different reasons..and those reasons tend to change as the character changes throughout the season. One thing I hate, is that on the DVDs there are cool pictures of the guys right? Well the first one is Heero, as usual. He is 01, Heero Yui from colony 01. Then it’s Duo; still not a surprise, he’s 02 from colony 02 and his name is Duo. Then it’s Trowa, again not surprising all their names mean the same as their numbers and their colonies and all…But instead of having Quatre next...they have Wufei. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Wufei. He and Duo are tied as my favorite gundam pilot! But it should be Quatre! Now, on the last DVD...is a picture of Wing! ...What happened to Quatre? /sigh No one shares my enthusiasm.
