More int he world of Black&White

Yo. Today was...interesting. Got up around 9ish...ate pancackes with the rents. Did a lot of nothing till 11:15, and then left for Pizza Hut. I forgot how quickly you can get there since you’re gong 70 mph. Got there a little early and just waited. Mrs. Connie, amai_tenshi, her brother Andrew, and his fiancée Melanie. Ate, drank, and was merry for about an hour. Then we had to split. They still had some last-minute packing to do since they’re leaving for their trip tomorrow.

So, I came home and.../thinks What did I do? I think I got on and played Black&White right away...Yeah. I’m pretty sure. I played Black&White till Mom&Dad came home, and Dad said he needed the PC for a while. Then I got back on and played after we ate...so I’d say I’ve been playing for roughly 71/2 hours. After a while though, the game gets pretty tedious…But I still want to play so that I can see what happens. I really need to get the old game guide out and re-read it all.

I finally got to the 3rd island. It’s so much harder! Not only did Lethey’s kidnap my creature, he has him held prisioner between these three obelisks and his creature is tormenting him! It’s terrible! Especially since I hear my creature groaning in pain every few seconds. Not only that, but I can no longer cast the wood miracle. And what does everyone need?..That’s right: wood! It’s so aggravating. I’ve had to strip-mine the place for any and all near-by trees. And Letheys is being his usual self.

I converted the first village to follow me ( a kawaii Japanese village) and he threw fire at some of their people and I had to put them out before they caught the entire village on fire. The second village was an Indian village, which I converted. That made him really mad, and he sent a pack of about two dozen wolves through there to convert them back. I kept trying to cast lightning on them, but it wouldn’t work! So I started throwing them, so that they’d land in the ocean near by. But some of them did get past me, so the village turned from me and went back to Letheys! So I then did what any normal person under those circumstances would do...I destroyed their village. By the time I had them believing in me again, there were only three people left in the village! It was terrible. Of course the evil side of my conscience loved it. I finally got them back up to code and realized that I needed to get off, before something else crucial happened and I got pulled in again. I woke up to early to pull an all-nighter gamewise.

Here’s a pic of a few of the Norse people, who wanted to sail away. I supplied the wood and food for the trip, and they were greatful. Aren’t they cute?

This pic is so funny. My creature was being really aggressive, so to counter it, I put him on the fuzzy leash of compassion and tethered him to one of my villiages. He saw the villagers dancing and began to dance himself...He’s a much better dancer than I.

Here’s the first pic I took of a Wonder. Wonders are huge buildings that help villages. Greek wonders make my people more hearty.

And here’s a pic of an Indian wonder. The Indian wonder makes the birth rate increase...great.

Last for the Wonders is the Norse Wonder. Norse Wonders, to me, seem the biggest. However, their only purpose is to increase the amount of fish brought in. Considering that fishing only brings in about 10% of the village’s food, one must compensate by having quite a lot of fishermen.

This is a pic of Khazar, my allie on the second island, dying. He was attacked by Nemesis after I won over one of Lethey’s villages. Evidently the only way to kill a god who doesn’t have three parts of the creed is to destroy their temple...which takes quite a bit of work.

Here’s a pic of one of my smallest Indian villages. The fireflies were out and the moon was overhead so I snapped a quick picture of the (rare) peaceful moment.

And lastly (for this evening at least), a picture of Lethey’s stealing my creature away through...hypnotics I suppose. I cannot wait to bombard that useless excuse of a wolf-creature of his!
