Yo. Just like I thought, things look better today. I went through a marginal period of “Hmm...maybe I’m being irrational...perhaps I shouldn’t quit...” because, it would be more ideal if I actually had a good job now. But then I strengthened my resolve, deciding that this would be the big push to get me up off my lazy butt and actually looking for one. I haven’t been lately. You know why? Because they’ve been working me every day except on Wednesdays and Sundays (the days I’m unavailable) and even then, they call and ask if I can come in. Nooo~ooo.

So yeah. Tomorrow I work from 11-4:45 and I’ll be turning in my two-weeks notice. Wednesday I’ll be going to Mrs. Patsie’s Hair Salon (The Curl Up and Dye Hair Salaon, kawai!), and after that I’ll be handing out my Resumes. At least, that’s the plan. Also, Wednesday I have to help a friend from church design her weding invitations o.O Mom heard she was needing help with it and she was like ‘Tracie can do that! Why don’t you just come over and we’ll do it for you!’ ...Now I know how Dad feels when she recruits him to do stuff and he has no idea. But I don't really mind. It spreads my name around that I can do designs like that...

Tonight was fun...We went to Wendy’s after church to talk to Mom’s friend about specifics, and of course since church had just let out, it was only a matter of time before a huge crowd started coming in. We were seated next to my Aunt Carolyn and my cousin, Mrs. Tamie, was right on the other side of us. They kept mentioning how Daniel and I would be such a perfect couple. How we're so alike.

Note: Daniel is a guy from church who (from what I understand) liked me when we first met about 5 years ago. But I was like 14 and he was 19 so when he asked my parents if they’d mind him asking me out, my Dad coolly replied “I have a shot gun, a shovel, and two acres of land, and no one will miss you.” Needless to say, Daniel moved on.

Well, now I’m 21 and everyone expects me to date – Personally I think I have enough problems at this point, but having a companion would be nice...Anyway. So, they keep going on and on about Daniel and me, and someone (can’t remember who exactly) says something about what our kids would be like. To which I calmly reply,

“Daniel and I have both agreed not to have children.”...everyone froze staring at me wide eyed, the clock on the wall seemed to get really loud and finally Mrs. Tamie asked,

“Together?”

Me: *grin* “No. Seperately. I said something about not wanting children, and he said he didn't want any either. So that finalized the whole thing.” Laughter erupted, my Aunt Caroyln was somewhere between choking and hyperventilating, my Dad’s blood pressure sky rocketed and then plummeted all at once. We laughed about that the whole way home. Dad did mutter a bit about how he’d need to “...talk to Daniel again...” so maybe I should warn him the next time I see him...which could be anywhere from next week at church or three months from now (he works as a paramedic and usually works nights, so his schedule is erratic at best). *sigh* Poor guy; wasn’t even there to defend himself...That was probably why it was so much fun ^.^

Well, I suppose that’s all for tonight. I kinda needed today to be good since yesterday was so terrible. Today I made mashed potatoes to go with Mom’s roast beef. Note: One of my favorite meals is mashed potatoes with raost beef & gravy. You know, where the beef is so tender it fals apart in the mashed potatoes. *swoon*. Ok, that really is all for tonight...except for this quiz thingy.
