Severe Weather Alert

Sooo.... we got some severe weather coming at as from the north, Missouri's getting it bad right now. Severe wind and thunderstorm activity, not to mention, oh yeah, Tornadoes. This weather is spanning from Oklahoma to Missouri and into Arkansas. Even Kansas is getting some of it, but it's not as bad for Kansas right now. It's really dark outside and the trees are thrashing about like mad. We're expected to get 70 mph winds and I can hear some thunder just now. Our lights and TV keep flickering.... We're hoping this weather will blow over really quickly and then we'll be done with it. If not, we've all gotten dressed and we're ready to dash to the basement at any second. The storm, as a whole, really looks a lot like a hurricane. There's a low pressure center of circulation and a solid band of storms on the outside that's circulating.

The thunder's getting a lot closer and I'm pretty sure it's raining out now..or maybe that's just the wind. Either way, I'm gonna log now. Sorry for the hurried post, but I figured the small post to Twitter really didn't cover this. I'll post later when I can. Later, Sunshines.
