msmoon: (Supernatural - Drama!)

OK, so Supernatural was awesomeness last night, and I nearly killed myself laughing when they gave us Jensen Ackles's little surprise tidbit after the show :D That was made of win!

....when the show opens up and you see Dean...running for his life with terror on his face...and then him saying "He'll kill you!" to a poor guy and the guy looking at...a cute wittle Yorkie with a pwetty pink wibbon!.....oh yeah, you know it's gonna be one of THOSE episodes XD

Ok, so Dean got down-right twitchy around those reptiles (and iguana’s are so awesome! They always look like they're grinning at you!XD), that was a big clue right there that he was, as he put, 'haunted'. I had no idea it'd turn him into a whiner though =..=

But, seriously, this totally reminded me of The Ring...which, I suppose is fitting since, it was originally a Japanese story about a girl who died and imposes her death on anyone who finds out about her (through...uh...a tape...that she made...after...she died. Whatever -..-). I was so glad for Bobby in the end. I'm always glad to see Bobby. Bobby is made of win...I expect him to stop the apocalypse with a glare at this point :D Yay for knowledge of foreign cultures and obsessive geekyness....uh, but anyway. So, this was...a strange cross-over of The Ring and Of Mice and Men....O..o and typing that out just got me to freak myself out...

What’s weird about Supernatural, is that it can mix wacky/silly/dorky in with smart/funny/scary and work. It’s very odd to see, but I love the show for that very reason (and because it’s paranormal awesomeness! ...and *cough*the boys kick ass!*cough). Somehow the show managed to pull that off, making Dean look like a totally pansy/dork and yet it was all relevant and most of it was truly terrifying because of yellow-eyed!Sam and precious!Lilith!

Uh...Dean’s bowlegged right? That explains his run of insanity! Seriously, when he ran away from the ghost and Sam was all ‘wtf, dude?’...well, he had some serious flail going on there >..>

Thank you for presenting with take-charge!Sam too. That's always awesome. I suppose if I were having a mental/terror break down, I'd want Sam as opposed to Dean if only because Dean's so blunt and uncaring at times. Sam was truly supportive and cool headed.

...are you teasing us with what's to come? Because I thought I saw a flash of yellow-eyed!Sam right at the end there....and Dean wasn't under the ghost sickness curse....hmmmm. Azazel Endgame Prelude, mayhap? /sigh. So, the afterlife doesn't have pearly gates, they have revolving doors -..-' awesome.

I'm surprised with myself, because I'm so satisfied with this episode...and there was no supernatural tag-alongs. I mean, no angels no demons, just our boys and the ghost! Twas awesome, and it made me want to re-watch season 1 for some odd reason. Not that I won't look forward to seeing Castiel or Ruby or whoever next time, but it's just nice to see the boys rock on their own.

...that last scene with them and Bobby...in the afternoon, lounging against the Metalicar with a beer...and ...hell, I dunno if it's because they weren't bundled up in jackets or what, but they looked awesome. The whole thing was just sort of picturesque, and I can't put my finger on why. It just looked great. Maybe it's because they were acting so casual and laid back...who knows.

All that being said...I leave you with this. I enjoyed it, and I hope you do too XD!!!

Sank you! Sank you so beri beri much!
