And another Saturday Bites the Dust

Hey Minna! Today was....Saturday. It wasn't that bad...I guess. Woke up at 9:33. I got up, ate breakfast, and got ready to tape X-men evolution...which reminds me, I have to check and see what next weeks show'll be. I try to do that every week that way I'll know what's coming and if I need to tape it ^_^.

Mom said she wanted to go to K-mart and I told her if she could wait 30 minutes I'd go with her. I wanted to check and see if they had the sound track to Spirit. They did too but I've got $6.00 to my name ~_~. Mom would've been willing to make up the difference, but we really need to watch our money. After K-mart, Mom and I headed to Taco Bell and picked something up for lunch.

Headed home and did lots of nothing today. It was boring. I got on EQ and played on Tinidril for a while. In fact for several hours. I started on the Quest of the Khati Sha Recruit, for Beastlords, and it was nothing but disappointing.

OK here's the deal. You're supposed to go to this guy called Animist Poren and give him your Acrylic slate. He gives you this pattern and a stitching kit. You kill a bunch of Xarak Larva in hopes that they drop Shade weaver Silks. You combine two of those silks and make Silk threads. You combine two silk threads and make a silk bandage. You combine 3 silk bandages and-hopefully-get Silk Had wraps. At least that's the first part of the quest. Well all I really wanted to do was get the materials for the first part and then I'd camp. Well after about 4 hours of hunting and slaving and stressing about my Tailoring skills I finally had three Silk bandages. Well I went to combine the three silk bandages with the pattern and it had the nerve to tell me I didn't have the skill for it!! And in EQ if you use kits like that to make things, and you don't have the skill to make it, you wind up with a load of nothing! So basically I wound up with nothing after hunting for hours!

....But moving along. After that...I hung around...Thomas finally showed up. Um, went to Bored.com. Took my shower and watched Sleeping Beauty. I was starting to watch While you were Sleeping, but Reiko called and told me Yu Yu Hakusho was coming on. So I watched it. It was interesting, but I wish I would've seen it from the beginning.

After I got off the phone with Reiko and a commercial break came up, I called Chibi and asked her what day would be good for us to come over this coming week. She said she'd ask her mom and then e-mail me. So I finished watching Yu Yu Hakusho and realized how sleepy I was. So I put a blank tape in my VCR and started recording it. Now I've sent Reiko an e-mail and I'm going to bed.
