Ironman is made of awesome. Yes there are a few things that aren’t quite the same, but considering the way things always are (the movie industry always changes things), that’s to be expected. It’s given a real-world feel what with the terrorist in Iraq. One could easily see how Star Industries would be a big player in the war. And I’m sure we’ve all wanted to see terrorist cells that are hurting their own people in the Middle East get pounded. Robert Downey Jr. is great as Tony Stark, bringing a great deal of charm and whit to the character. The movie is engaging and doesn’t get boring or fall flat. …and I think that’s pretty much all I can say without giving out spoilers =..= But, even Mom said it was a good movie, even though it ‘wasn’t her type of movie’.
Oh, and last night while we got our tickets for Ironman we also got our tickets for Prince Caspian, and we’ll be going to the 7:30 showing on May 16. Cannot WAIT! Then, there’s Indiana Jones coming out at the end of the month. Mom’s not that into those type movies, so I intend to go with Dad to see that one. Busy month, man. Busy!...well, movie-wise.
That’s all for this post, or it’ll be about more than just movies…and I’ll end up adding more tags =..= Later, Sunshines.
