Hey Minna. Boy here I start talking about how I want to try keeping my diary up, and what happens, I skip a few days. Let's see what's happened? A lot really, and then not much at all.
Let's see, Thursday not much happened. I waited for Twin-san to get online and she didn't. But you know abut that.
Friday was a pretty slow day, and even if my Twin-san would've gotten online I wouldn't have been able to talk with her. We had a meeting at church for all the people associated with sound. We just got our new sound board in -hallelujah - and our Pastor's wife/Music Director/First Lady Of Bayou Blue Assembly of God wanted us to all know what the regulations were gonna be for the sound people. We had to be there 15 minutes early, we couldn't eat or drink in the sound booth, we needed to work out a schedule, yada, yada, yada, you get the point.
Then was Saturday. And Saturday was actually pretty fun. At first it was clean, clean, clean. But then Dad and I were going to go to the movies with Mrs. Patricia-a friend of Dad's-and her grand son to see Ice Age. We were going to see it at 4:00, but it was sold out, so we bought tickets for the 7:00 showing while we were there. Dad and I had already gone to Cannata's and bought the candy and we got the drinks we wanted.
That was funny too 'cause Dad only put .50¢ in the machine and four cokes poped out! He brought them back and told the store people what had happened and they thanked him for it. It's funny how what seems like second nature to us is strange to other people. I mean, I suppose it's not a wonderfully honest thing to sneak candy and drinks into the theater, but then their prices are too high anyway. But when things like the, we paid this much and you gave us too much happen Mom, Dad and I always make it right. Like just a few weeks ago, Mom bought a patio set, a table and four chairs. Well the guy put five chairs in the truck and we didn't know about it. When we got home Mom noticed and the next day she went out of her way to bring it back.
Oh well, anyway, today was a strange Sunday. We went to church and I was responsible for the sound system. Ryan had neglected to tell me that turning on our new sound board with be different, but we figured that out with the help of Mr. Ben (a little tidbit of history. Mr. Ben-also known as Mr. Benny-is our church's first and most reliable sound guy). Well, then a problem with the wires came up and we had to figure out that too. I thought it was kinda funny how on the first day I try out the new sound board things start out wrong.
Oh well, they had a service about the Passover or Feast of Unleavened bread. The Hebrew or Jewish custom from when the Hebrews were in bondage under Pharaoh. It was very interesting and I loved it. After that was Sunday school.
Then we came home and Mom began to have a migraine headache. She's always getting them because of the lights, loud music or strong perfume. I talked with Twin-san, but then I had my own physical problems. I went to bed at about 2:30/3:00 and I didn't wake up till…6:30. Needless to say, we didn't attend church. But I did get to watch that Mom's On Strike movie with Mom and Dad. It was cute, but I really hated the stuck up daughter in the beginning.
Wow, big entry. Oh well that's what happens when I'm away so long. Well my pills are kicking in and I'm surprisingly tired. I'll write later Minna. Ja.
