Beware, for I am: Hopeful

Ok, so today. Reiko came over and I met her boyfriend.../shrugs One of the few I’ve met that I actually don’t detest. And that’s the best assessment of said situation I can give thus far.

Moving on to other things that I can have a full opinion about. Work: I got a good deal offered to me today, and I just hope that it doesn’t turn into a rabbit-hole. It goes like this, see. My boss lady asked me to come tomorrow at 9 a.m. because the boss has some things he wants typed up. So she wanted at least 2 hours set aside for me to do just that. Not mail and chart logging, not filing, not copying, just the typing. So I’m temporarily coming in at 9 and I will work till 11 and have an hour lunch break and then come back at 12 and work till 5. All that’s fine with me. It’s the early morning thing that might bother me the most, but in the long run and since it’s temporary, I don’t think it’ll bother me too much. So that’s the new development there. We’ll see how that goes tomorrow.

Chibi has not replied to my e-mail ¬.¬ Steps shall have to be taken. I will have to call her. Yes. Call her. /nod nod nod

Mom and I just got back from an hour long car ride which involved us going into to town in hopes of stopping at Sonic and getting some ice cream. Turns out Sonic’s ice cream machine is broken. So, we went to Dairy Queen, which was much further into town than we really wanted to go, but as I said to Mom, “Desperate times.” We then went on a ‘short cut’ that ended up being like a scene from a scary movie. It’s raining, there are little to no street lights and there’s these old oak trees hanging over the highway...After about 25 minutes of this, we finally found the road we were looking for. But Mom had to embellish the situation by saying several times, “I didn’t think it was this far...”

That is all. Hey, if Britney Spears can do a ‘stream of consciousness’ post, you guys can be satisfied with this thing. Early morning. G’night.
