This is a size what?!

Today, after church and eating lunch, Mom and I went shopping for some pants. I just need some things to wear to work that are a little lighter than what I’m wearing now. We had a Avenue coupon and a gift certificate to JC Penny’s (not that I’m a fan of JCP, but oh well).

We get to the Avenue. I pick out the types I like in the size I usually get. I go in the dressing room….they’re too big. I usually get an 18…and there was 2 inches of space off my waist…so I tell Mom, and she goes and gets me a 16 and a 14 – just for fun – of that pant…the 14 fit... I was basically like “…….<.<…………>.>……O.O I went down 2 dress sizes? O…M…G….when did that happen?” I mean, I don’t feel like I’ve lost any weight. And all I’ve been doing is eating less, but eating often, and drinking more water...I can’t see where I’ve made too much of a change. But it’s great! I mean, 2 pant sizes. That’s awesome. It’s just odd for me to realize that…I’m not quite as big as I used to be.

I had wanted to go and see Transformers today…but alas. Too much going on, and too much money spent elsewhere. God knows it’ll stay at the box office long enough with the money it’s making. I guess I’ll go and see it another day. Maybe during the week when things are slower.
