Refreshing resolutions

Yo. After a good (or not so good) night’s sleep I feel slightly better than the strange annoyance I went through last night. I was extremely aggravated and very moody...but then my cycle isn’t that far off...From now on, I promise not to explode on everyone for no reason. I will explode only on certain individuals for specific reasons, and even then I’ll try to do it quietly.

Today’s plan (other than waking up). Go to New Orleans /groan. See Dr. Jacobs so that he can decide whether I am Lactose intolerant or if I have IBS...or if I have both O.o;;; Come home. Wash hair (again). Keep the house from getting lonely. The end...Yeah.

I have been so depressed with my hair lately. Since we tried that straightener, it feels like I’ve washed my hair and forgot to rinse out the soap and conditioner, then I decided to put gel and hair spray in as well. It’s stiff and grimy and gucky...I hate it. *sigh* I even washed it out with baking soda...didn’t do anything. I guess it’ll just take time...but I want my natural hair back! /whimper.

So, I am off to go and start my day. Let’s hope it turns out better than yesterday. I can’t take too many of those...at once, anyway.

Three-headed ...chin chilla?

Yo. Things I did today so far...

1) Went to New Orleans to see the doctor. That wasn’t so bad on the way there, but the way back made me sick. Oh and my doctor’s visit was only like 20 minutes long, and my wait was only 15 so that’s gotta be a record. He said that my blood work came back and my...*thinks* ERS or something like that was high...but whatever it was, it suggests some inflammation, which makes him think I might have a form of colitus as well as lactose intolerance. He said if I needed refills on my meds to call him and he’d get them, but if things don’t get better I’m in for another colonoscopy.../ech.

2) Put in my Resume at a place I know is hiring. A friend of mine that went to school with me tipped me off about this place that she got work at. She said it’s an oil field company, and that they need people who know how to work Word, Excel and Access...Access and I are barely on speaking terms, but I can work it...(boy, can I work it...when I want to...I simply choose not to…why are you laughing?) SO, hopefully I’ll get a call to go and work there. Everyone there seemed nice...even the grimy garage guys...If I go to work there, I’ll start referring to them as the GGG ^.^ /giggle.

3) Braced for Hurricane Audrey. What’s that? You haven’t heard of Hurricane Audrey? Well, that’s because Audrey isn’t actually a hurricane...she’s my Mom’s older sister (yeah, yeah, I know. She’s my Aunt -.-). For some odd reason she called and decided now was a good time to come visit since Uncle Buddy (don’t get me started >.<) is away at work for a couple of days. My Mom is one of 15 kids; which is naturely being a share croper’s daughter and all. Her sisters are all loud, short-tempered, and a bit crazy (it’s genetic /groan). Every now and then we must face the family onslaught, and now is one such time.

4) Watched 2 Hercules movies...again. Yes. I am obsessed, and I know it. I bought the first season, and I watch it regularely. Just like all the anime and other junk that I buy that I happen to be obsessed about. Since I pay for most of my things, the occasional birthday or x-mas gift notwithstanding, my parents generally do not worry over these obsession. Today’s viewing was Hercules and the Circle of Fire, and Hercules and the Underworld. Although it was extremely low-tech, I find drawn to Cerberus...that’s right, Hadie’s three-headed dog. I have decided that if ever I have a dog again, I will name him Cerberus…or you know...even if I get a Chin chilla or hamster or..something…Right. /sigh.

And that’s about all today. I think I’ll go and shower, since my hair is still killing me. You can tell that I’m bored today because I’m posting a lot. Oh well. It is my diary.

Yo. I would just like to thank Image Shack for the great things it does for people. I had no idea such a place existed, and I always wondered how I could go about posting pics here. So much love to my Twin-san, who actually pulled me out of the darkness and into the light.

But before all that...my day. Mom and I grow steadily sicker as we deal with our sinuses. We used to have a ...home air cleaner or whatever you call it, but it started making strange noises...So, Mom shut it off. Now we have it on, strange noises or not! But we still suffer...it puts out a foul smell into the air.

So anyway, Mom made a huge, home-made soup for us that was wonderful. Then she and Aunt Audrey went to Grandmere’s to talk. They’ve been gone for hours. Leaving me blissfully alone.

During that time, Twin-san showed me Image Shack and how to use it. I was delighted. I uploaded a lot of the icons I’d been working on, only to find that most of them were for her. So I then finished working on the icons I’d started for myself ages ago, finished those, and uploaded them. I will now put the icons on, though I will warn that you have seen some of them.
