Stuff came in today...

Yo. God, but it’s so good to be home. Today I slept till like 12 something! That’s the longest I’ve slept since I’d been homeschooled and we weren’t having school. I then got up and promptly check [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]’s journal. Oh! I mean my friend’s journals. Tin just happens to be the most active and the most fun to read. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] still hasn’t posted...It’s been 9 weeks. *sighs* I really should have a talk with that girl. How else am I supposed to know what’s going on if she doesn’t, 1) E-mail me (which she never does), or 2) Update her journal regularely. Honestly.

Dad’s toe is doing much better today...My Aunt Dorris gave him some of this stuff called ‘New Skin’ (I think), and it helps to coat the cut/wound so that it doesn’t get infected. It’s working really well. And Mom’s been waiting on him as much as she can so that he can rest. He still likes to get up and do his own stuff sometimes, but he’s taking things slow at least.

Ok, so what else did I do? I got EQII in. Made me get all excited and crazy for a while . It made me remember how I had written down what characters I wanted to play a long time ago. I’d written down their names and everything, and the names are the hardest to come up with after all. But then I couldn’t find the list I’d made! I was franticly looking through all my notebooks. My mom made me clean my room up a bit a while back, and I’d taken all my notebooks and stacked them together, and it wasn’t in the stack! Then I realized that I might’ve left it on the computer at one time, and Mom’s infamous for going into one of her ‘cleaning sprees’ and she might’ve picked it up and done God knows what with it. So I looked around the living room and kitchen, and sure enough, she and Dad had started using it to keep the scores of their card/domino games in. I swear, I have to watch her every minute. But after that I got to looking around at the EQII specks of what it needs to run on your computer. To run EQII you need at least $15 a month to start out with and since me have no job, I can’t play it. But then your computer has to have:

-Processor: 1GHz or greater

-RAM: 512 MB

-Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory

-Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware

And all that jazz. Not that I have any idea what all that is, how to know if I have it, or how to get it if I don’t have it...but it’s good ot know I suppose... I went online to Alien Ware and look at their gaming computers because ther was an insert to get a chance to win one of their computers. I think I’m in love. Yet once again, must have job first. *sigh*

And then, we’d gotten a call yesterday (could’ve been yesterday, or Monday, or Sunday for all we know. Our crazy answering machine can’t tell the time and day correctly anymore -.- But anyway). The call was automated and it was to tell me that my copy of Red vs. Blue season 3 was ready. I was so happy. I mean, I only bought the thing in May. They said it was gonna be out by May 23 and I bought it in the first week of May. Then it was June 12. Then they didn’t know. Now, today, I finally have it. *exhales* I think I’m gonna cry... What was really funny was the guy at Game Stop was like “We have the fourth season on pre-order already if you’d like to buy it. It’ll be out in November.” I told him I’d wait till I actually had the money and come back for it. The truth is, I don’t know if I want to pre-order anyting anymore...I mean...May you guys. I had this thing paid for in May. It’s friggin’ July...hello? That calls for a slight lack of faith when it comes to the next ‘pre-order’ thing, ya know?

But anyway. That’s everything for today I suppose. Tomorrow I’m gonna see about going over to my old college and getting my degree before they start using it for a coster or something. First I have to make sure they have everything right on it. They’ve misspelled my name twice (on transcripts and in the graduation ceremony thingy), and they’ve put me as an Accounting major when I’m an Office Systems Technology major. Honestly! But then, they’re funded by the state; how accurate can they be?
