Yo. Now it seems like I’ve found my handle. Mizu's is “So I...”, Mine is ‘Yo’. And unlike her, I don’t care if I start every entry with it. It adds some consistency to an otherwise chaotic and depressing journal. Besides...it’s my diary. I’ll write if I want to.

Oh and if you’re wondering about the title...our wieners at the theater are Oscar Mayer wieners...a couple of teeny-boppers saw that and started singing the Oscar Mayer song. I will be singing that stupid song in my sleep. Ok anyway...

Today was...interesting I suppose. After eating at 4ish and getting ready for work, I left with my new copy of The Rogue’s Hour which I purchased with money from graduation. I also had other stuff, but that’s what took up most of my evening. I may have had five customers from 6:45 to 10:45. *sighs* And then there are nights like Monday and Tuesday when I had to run back and forth from the Café to the Gameroom and sometimes to podium or Box office. But anyway. Haven’t finished Rouge’s Hour yet...still don’t know what to think of it. It’s slightly confusing and somewhat angsty but *shrugs* I’m assuming the author wants to keep you guessing.

I have other worries. I’ve started a little side story called The Blood Wars. It’s an original story I’ve started to help explain the way vampires work in my world. It centers around a ‘baby vampire’ named Deidre, who was made a vampire and then abandoned by her maker. She doesn’t even know who he/she is. She’s taken in by an Elder Vampire named Vincet and his underling Iarorn, who proceed to teach her about her nature. Then it expands as a crisis begins to evolve, and Deidre begins meeting different vampires, Elder, Ancient and otherwise, and learning more about the Vampire Underworld, as she calls it. I’m on chapter five, I have over 12,000 words so far (none of which are author’s notes or anything, just story), and I’m sorta stuck. I know what I want to happen, but I’m not sure how to write it out, or for that matter, how to transpire up to that point. It works out in a way, ‘cause I’ve been sending the chapters to my Twin-san via e-mail for approval. She’s kinda busy lately...or something...and so she hasn’t read everything...I think. She said she’d read the 4th chapter tonight. So, now we’re actually kinda caught up, but that still doesn’t help me any more. It also doesn’t help that I have four notebooks with tons of stuff written in them that I need to type up. God, I hate OCD!...*looks at OCD* I didn’t mean it! I swear...

Ok enough of that craziness. So, after work, I’d just shut everything down, and I’m going back to recheck everything. This guy, and a bunch of people I’m assuming are his friends, walks by and looks at me. He yells out, “Hey, you got an old man?” To which I’m like,

“Huh...?” and he says,

“An old man. A boy friend.” I then said in that ‘nona yo business’ tone,

“no.” and he said,

“You want one?” to which I coolly replied.

“No. I have enough problems.” His friends, who had all stopped and were listening, all laughed. I was going for a really sexy, but in a tie you down and hurt you sorta tone...so I suppose one could say I was channeling NutMeg...though many might debate that. NutMeg is a super-cool, sexy, even if slightly insane Asian girl who can kick your @$$ or worse! Love you, Nut Megs! (ps: Mikie is my fav ninja turtle) ...Don’t ask.

Yo. You know, I had thought of something last night, while I was drifting off to sleep, and I was like “Oh...I should probably post that on LJ.” ..and now I can’t remember what it was! Don’t you have that -.- From now on, if I have a thought like that, I’ll have to write it down somewhere (no doubt I’d loose the notebook I wrote it in), so that I can remember!

Alright, in other new...I’m awake... Well, I changed the layout of this Juornal...I kept looking for something that would put the title of the entry at the top, with the time and date next to that, and then the mood under that, but this was the best I could do. At least the best that appealed to my taste.

You know, I’ve been reading through Mizu’s journal, and I noticed something...she kept saying OMGSQUEE...now, this is a problem I have often as the sometimes clueless older generation. I’m startintg to sound like my dad, “What is ‘jam’ and how do you ‘pump it up’?...” From what I understand, with my oh-so-humble knowledge, OMG is ‘oh my god’, that’s obvious. But Squee? Is that like saying you squeeling oh my god or something?

Also, I’ve been looking for Actor/Actress Head shots lately. HollyNet.com and StudioMark.com are the best I have to go with so far. HollyNet is better really, ‘cause it has pics of actors and actresses that bear a certain familiarity, whereas on StudioMark there are other people who (I take it) want to be actors and actresses. The reason I’m looking so much, is because I want to have well-known visual references when I refer to characters in my story. For someone who reads a lot it’s easy to describe a character just by saying, “She has olive skin, with angular features, and deep crimson hair, and the sharpest ice-blue eyes.” But I find that a lot of people understand descriptions better if I say something like “She’s a cross between Lindsay Lohan and Angelina Jolie...”. They can just visualize that better for some reason...and besides that, I do want to make a movie out of my book one day, so I guess I just decided to start looking around at who could play what now. Side Note: I don’t care what anyone says, I think Angelina Jolie is cool.
