Finding Time...

Hey Mina. How’s everything going? I hope it’s going good for you guys, ‘cause it’s going pretty good for me too. Today was a very busy one but it was over all pretty good. In fact the whole week end and all was pretty good. I honestly can’t complain.

Work has actually been wonderful, though I know it’s gonna heat up with Star Trek and The Two Towers come out -.- But still, I enjoy my job so much now, I don’t dread going to work and I don’t have the aches and pains that I used to have. And this week I work Fri. 5-11B, Sat. 10:30-5B, and Sun. 10:30-5B, so I’m happy. And I’m gonna ask Jeremy if he can work me like 5-11 in Box Saturday that way my Imouto-chans and I can see the Two Towers together.

I bought my Twin and Chibi their Christmas presents already and now I’m stressing on what to get Reiko. I know what I want to get her...it’s just a matter of getting it to her. I also bought something for myself. I had the last two tapes of the Rayearth OVA’s in my cart for like three months and this time I put my foot down and decided to buy it all together.

Oh and Dad came in Tuesday and brought that Wal Mart gift certificate with him. So I bought The Lord of the Rings computer game along with two others one called SimsEarth and the other is called Populous. I also bought the Treasure Planet sound track. I’d eyeballed Avril Lavigne’s CD called Let Go, but in the end thought it’d be too much. I probably shouldn’t have worried but oh well.

School’s going great too. I actually made a 100 today on my Visual Aid speech on Anime. I checked the paper he graded—normally we give him a copy of our outline, and he scribbles on it while we’re giving our speech and grades us—and he’d written things like “Excellent visual aids!” and such. So I was feeling pretty good about myself.

Then I came home and Mom asks me to go to town with her and Dad, ‘cause they want to buy me a car. I was like O.O Sure! So we looked at the Kia’s and I test drove it and it wasn’t exactly what I liked. Then we went inside and saw the Ford Focus, and I loved it to death, and it was an incredible car inside and out. I got to test drive it and it was wonderful, but more’s the pity since we couldn’t afford it in the end. They kept jacking up the price and all so we walked. Dad said tomorrow we’ll look at the Toyotas tomorrow, and just shop around. Who knows, in the end they may come down on the price for the Focus. I really loved that car.

Then we went to Aunt Carolyn’s and ate with them—it’d gotten really late ‘cause the people at the car place never seemed to want to let us go. They kept saying “Just give me a second.” We’d waited so long I’d gotten a headache then gotten hungry and that made the headache worse. Finally we got to Aunt Carolyn’s and she had roast beef and mashed potatoes and sweet peas and white beats. It was very good, and I had seconds. Then was church, and in my free time I wrote out another section of my ramble, which was great.

So now we’re home, I’m showered and feeding my digital Petz—and boy but I wish they’d hurry up!—and I’m starting to feel the effects of my medicine. But I wanted to make sure I’d written before I went to bed, since it’s been so long. So that’s about all there is to my life right now. I still really miss my Twin-san and all, but we do get to talk through e-mails and sometimes—when we’re lucky—by chatting, though it’s never long. And now I’m really tired and the Petz are almost all fed so I’m gonna let you go. That’s all she wrote.
