Zonked Creativity

Hey Minna. Well, Today is the day—supposedly—when Thomas, my brother, will leave for Spartan School of Aeronautics in Oklahoma. Mass celebration. Now as a rule, I usually don’t get on early for anything unless my family asks me to, ‘cause getting on the computer is just asking to be late. But this morning Mom woke me up and said they couldn’t figure out how to do the Trip Maker thing for Thomas’s trip. I hopped out of bed and helped him make it, printed it out and made it look oh so pretty. So after breakfast I looked at the clock and thought...hey I’ve got an hour and fifteen minutes. I might as well write.

So what’s up? Well let’s see...Oh yeah, yesterday I went to Chibi’s and had a blast. I saw two new animes that I love...one more than the other. Read or Die was cool, but they need to give Ms. Deep some more clothes! I mean, it’s like “Oh were you saying something? Sorry I just couldn’t take my eyes off your chest as only half of it is covered and you do bounce when you move...”

And then there was...I think it’s called Hack for short but it’s a got more to the name. It’s about a person who’s role playing on the net and they pass out or something and they get lost in the game and are actually playing their character as if they were the character, and they can’t log out. It gets more and more mysterious as some PC with a cat face keeps appears and disappearing. Chibi said she’s on the third episode and she’s still not too sure what’s going on.

As for school yesterday...It still sucks. I took that stupid Metric Poetry thing over and over and I still failed it. Ok here’s the deal. They give you an assessment, this one being on the five different parts of poetry. Each five sections has four questions, miss more than one and you have to take the tutorial and mastery test. Well, yours truly has never ran into Metric Poetry before so I didn’t know squat. And Tuesday I took that tutorial and mastery test twice and then Thursday I took it five more times! Till finally I said, “Oh, forget it.” The biggest problem is the tutorial is the same old thing. I mean I could do the Metric Poetry Tutorial in my sleep now, but the Mastery test has five questions—and you have to get four right—and those questions are hardly ever the same >.<

*sighs* Anyway, today is English 1030 and Speech 1010 with Mr. Rogers -.- I can barely contain my glee. I did twice as much English homework as I was supposed to so I’d be better prepared. And I’ve got my speech pretty much planned out. Since we only have to talk about our topic for about five minutes it won’t take much. Thank God.

Oh and things are going as well as they can on the FanFic front. I’ve started chapter 15 of the EQ stories and that’s about as good as it’s gonna get. What with homework and other such things, my creativity is zonked by the end of the day. But I’m trying so that counts for something ne?

Also I’m hoping to RPG with Twin-san tonight. I really hope we can since we haven’t been able to all week >.< Oh! And she’s trying to win a Halloween Dragon from the Keltic Rose Isle. I’m pretty sure she’ll win it. She’s got the creepiest page around and the best writing talent so we’re pretty sure it’s in the bag.

Well I guess I’ve talked enough. I’ll write later Minna. That’s all she wrote.

He did it again!

Well he did it again. Hold on, before I go into rant mode I’d best go through the whole scenario. Starting with school.

Went to school, was bored out of my mind for English. If fact if we hadn’t had a Spelling test, the whole thing would be boring. All he does is review what we did—stuff I already know—and then let us go. Sometimes he can’t even remember what he told us to do -.-; Anyway, Speech was a little better. Mostly because we took notes and all, and then took stuff for Monday’s test.

Well, we got out of school, I called home and told them I was coming. Then as I turn onto the street I slow down—cause our street’s got gravel and lime stone on it and if you don’t go just a bit over 10MPH you kick up dust like no tomorrow—and then just as I’m about to get to the house I see Thomas’s car coming out the drive way. We stop and he says

“Bye, bebe be good.” To which I reply,

“Ok, You get smart!” and then he drives off.

I pull into the drive way, park the car and head into the kitchen. Mom and Dad are playing dominos. Mom asks,

“Did Thomas park behind you in the drive way?” to which I reply, most puzzled,

“No, I saw him on the street.” And Dad says,

“...You mean he’s left already?” and I’m like

“O.o that’s what it looked like to me...” and then Mom says in a small voice,

“He didn’t say good bye...”

Dad was totally flabbergasted—that’s it in his own words mind you—and Mom’s all hurt. Dad leaves for a while—still don’t know where he went—and Mom starts doing dishes while I fix myself some Ramen Noodle Soup. Then I hear Mom crying as she’s doing the dishes. Do you know how frustrating it is to hear your mother cry and know it’s because your older brother’s an inconsiderate idiot >.< ?

So now the rents are both upset—dad’s more surprised than Mom—and we’re supposed to be having a celebration dinner tonight around 5. Can you imagine the depressing mood? Hopefully Mom and Dad will get over it and all and just forget about it. Otherwise it’ll be a pretty pointless celebration dinner...I mean you’re supposed to celebrate at a celebration dinner...not mope. Oh well, that’s me letting off my steam for now.

That’s all she wrote -.-
