Going way down...

Exhausted
Well, today has certainly been a lot better than yesterday. Knowing who does what has helped a lot. Before I was never sure who to transfer anyone to if the person calling didn’t know who they wanted. There’s a lot more to this job than they actually let on, and you don’t find out what it is you’re supposed to be doing till they do let on.
I know that we’ve hit a slow period when Linx falls asleep. Because I always have the Microsoft outlook and word up, so he’s always just hanging around on my desktop. When he falls asleep that means I haven’t been doing anything for a long...long...long time.
Other than that I’ve just been surviving the phones. Typing from dictation is fun. I’m sure I won’t have as much fun with it once I’ve done it 3 dozen times, but for now it’s a lot of fun. It’s things like sorting through mail and learning all the procedures that’s tedious and mind-numbing.
I worked harder today than yesterday, but that’s because there was a lot more to be done. I looked up and it was 5:10. I realized that if I didn’t wrap things up and save whatever I was working on for tomorrow, I might never get out of there. So, I headed home. Washed my face, fixed food, called Reiko to ask if she’d be going to church. She said no ‘cause she was sick, but we agreed to get together Friday after I get in from work.
Church was fun...in the way that Wednesday night church always is. Then Mom and I went to Taco Bell so that I could get some MexiMelts for tomorrow. We came home, I showered and Mom fixed my hair so that it won’t be crinkly tomorrow morning (I hope). Then we watched the American Idol we taped tonight. It was so fun. I love Mr. Salt&Pepper. I think he’s cool!
And now I’m watching Bones so that I can tape over it tomorrow and not miss anything. But it’s really really late, so as soon as this is done, I’m off to bed. 6 a.m. always comes way too early. Goodnight all.
