Keys to the City

Hopeful
Ok, so today I decided (sometime in the afternoon) that I’d go ahead and pay for a months worth of City of Heroes. I haven’t played in forever, and I’ve just been itching to play. It’s only $14 to play for a month, so why not? I mean, I might actually have a job by the time it expires (and that’s me being hopeful).
So I reactivate my account and pay for one month. Then I go to connect, and my updater won’t connect. So right away I go over to the support section of the CoH web site, and I tell them what’s up. Now, I thought I might get an e-mail tomorrow morning, tomorrow night tops. But I got an e-mail not fifteen minutes later. I then send as much info I can to them about my computer and then tell me how to run a program that’ll get them the info they need to help me. So, I just sent that off and hopefully I’ll be playing City of Heroes soon. Since they’ve responded so well, I actually feel optimistic about it.
Ok, TV tonight. Survivor was fun. I was rooting for the older women, but now I find myself wanting the Younger Women or Older Men to do better. The older women were idiots for voting Tina out. You wanna be stuck with the two girls who never spend any time outside as opposed to this nice lady who is a work horse and does everything...I’m sure that makes sense in some universe, but not in mine.
CSI was much better than I thought it’d be. I thought I’d be all hyped up for Survivor and then I’d be like “Oh, another CSI” to enjoy. Don’t get me wrong, I love CSI. But I guess I just got used to them being good. Tonight’s show was great. It was the first time that I really sympathized with the killer. Odd no? I certainly hope that doesn’t happen too often.
OMG, my Desktop Weather thing just thundered at me and I’m like, “Oh, God, not another night of storms!” only to check it and sigh in relief as it was only a dense fog advisory -.- /phew. Don’t scare me like that!
Ok, I’m off to...probably go take my shower. Other than that, I may stay up a little late to see if the nice people at CoH get back to me. Otherwise it’ll be me calling it a night. Later!
