You never watch the clock when you're taking over the world

Yo. Wow…today was just…hmm. Yeah. Today started with me doing the laundry and vacuuming. And then I read some fan fiction, and some manga, because I feel starved for it for some reason. And then I watched a bit of TV…I logged on to play Black&White 2, and the rest is a blur. I mean I know what I did, it’s just one of those things where it’s like,
“What time’s it getting’ to be?“ /yawn & looks at clock. Damn! I didn’t know it was that late!”
I’ve finally managed to compile a few pics of my time in Black&White 2. There are only 4 of the, but I enjoyed them. Here they are for your amusement.
This first pictures if from the land one part (or tutorial land, depending on how you look at it). There is a man who begs you to remove a huge rock from his garden. Of course, you evil conscience tells you to teach the man a lesson for ordering you around; and, your good conscience tells you to help the man to gain his loyalty. I helped the man, and the good conscience was happy, but the evil one plopped in and started complaining, “Is this how it‘s gonna be, boss?!”
In this picture, you see my little lion creature…he’s break-dancing in an attempt to entertain some of our villagers…it’s really cute…in a absolutely crazy way.
Here’s a picture of the town that I made on land 2. This land is really easy because the only other tribes are divided, leaderless people. All you really have to do is build up an impressive town, and they flock to join it. I think it’s better, because it allows you to focus on one town and only one town. Whereas, if you use an army to conquere villages, they tend to stay in there little settlement…and you have to tend to them along with your other town. That’s just too much for me.
Here’s a picture of the town that I build in land 3; the land that teaches you hard the game will begin to get. In this land, the other people you have to win over (the Norse) have a leader and a mighty army. Fortunately, you can build your town behind the safety of your walls.
Eventually, the other towns all admit that your town is a kick-ass town, and they all join, but you really have to fight tooth and nail till it happens.
However, this is arguably one of the best parts of the game. Ok, for instance, I had decided that I was gonna be either a good or neutral deity in this game. Well, there’s this little platoon of enemies that patrols right outside your right wall near the ocean. There’s no way for them to get to you, but they can’t go anywhere else either. Well, my creature sees them and he says, “I wanna stomp all over those enemy soldiers.” so I’m like “…hmm” so I decided to pet him and tell him, yeah, it’s ok to stomp enemy soldiers.
Then, I build my town up to a marginally impressive level, and one of the Norse towns migrates to my gate, waiting for me to accept them. So, I open my gate and let them come in…but before they get in, a small regiment of the Norse army comes running at my wall! So, I hurry up and recruit a decent size platoon of swords men, and get my creature to the gates. When my creature sees the enemy soldiers, he roars (as best as a 5 year old creature in this game can) and races out to meet them. Then he slams his foot down and stomps on them, and they just go flying(well, most of them anyway)! Then, I tell my army to attack the soldiers, and they do. Between the creature and the army, it’s short work, I can tell you that much.
On the down-side, the people who were migrating to join my city are just staring like “OMG…wtf…squee…” To make matters worse, my creature stands between the opened gates and starts roaring furiously! I’m like “Chaa!” but the villagers are like, peeing their pants. So, I put a leash on my creature and put him in his pen (because he’s pretty tired after that fight), and then I have to pick the migraters up, one at a time, and place them within the city…because they’re timidly walking like…”hmm…should we…shouldn’t we…I dunno..” And I can’t risk having my gates open long enough for the Norse army to regroup and attack again. I want to give my soldiers some reprieve. So, I shut my gates and pick the people up one by one and put them in the city. Then I keep the gates closed and the army inactive till another group of migraters comes.
And then the cycle starts up all over again….God, I love this game.
But that’s really all I have for you tonight..or…tomorrow…or…wait, it’s after 12. Dude…I should get to sleep. Oh wait, I should make sure the house is clean for when Mom gets back tomorrow. Ok, I’ll do that. Either way, goodnight.
