Disappointed
Yo...today sucked big-time. The only good thing that happened today was that my feet didn’t start to hurt till 2 hours after I started working. Lat time it took an hour and a half for them to start hurting. But of course, once they started hurting it only went down hill from there. People had gone crazy for our Columbus Day sale. I mean, one minute it’s 9ish and then I look up after a couple of customers and it’s like 11:30! What’s worse, is that I keep feeling sick...Mom appears to be getting over her virus...I just hope I’m not catching it.
Oh well. I work tomorrow, 10—5, Wednesday 10—5, Thursday 9—4, off Friday, and Saturday 9—4. And that’s all there is to say about that.
In other news...The Good News. I finally got Black&White 2. The Bad News. I can’t play it. It requires DirectX 9.0c, and DirectX 8/9 based Video card which supports at least version 1.1 pixel shaders, and I don’t have that...and I’ve no idea how to get that. So, I guess it’ll just be another thing I’ll have to look forward to when I get that new computer. So, I’m gonna put it with my EQII game and just ignore it till I can actually get my new computer...dammit.
Not much else happened today other than the agony that work has become. Aunt Batty gave me a belated birthday card with $10 in it...other than that, that’s all. I think I’ll go to bed early tonight. Waking up at 6:30 this morning was rough. Goodnight to all.
