……/pant,pant,pant yo. Ok...so this afternoon’s been productive...Like, super, way, extremely productive. Earlier, I called the manager over at Hancock’s Fabrics and he’d like to interview me Friday at 2:00. So that’s all set up.

Mom’s still not feeling well, but it’s more the medicine and the after effects of the pain. Her eye doesn’t hurt...that much. So she’s been laying around and watching TV with my Dad. They seem to be speaking again.

Oh yeah, I forgot to write about that. Monday, Mom was slicing up a cucumber, and Dad asked if he could have a bite. And she said to wait till supper. And he kept playing and saying “Just one bite, honey, please?” and she kept playing back and saying, “No! Absolutely not! You will wait till supper.”...well he got all mad and wouldn’t speak to her for 2 days! Over a cucumber that she was gonna let him have with supper! But then after we got home and she was in so much pain that afternoon, he lessened up and seemed to forget about it. It’s a good thing, because I certainly wouldn’t have tolerated such childishness. Over a cucumber no less!

Ok so anyway. I’ve been talking about how I’m gonna pack up my movies and books and stuff and clean up my room a bit, neh? Well, Mom informed me that Dad had this huge plastic container that has wheels on one side that you roll around. Like a huge roller bin or something. So we decided since he wasn’t using it for anything except a really cool ceiling ornament, we’d use that for my books...since...I have so many. So, I asked Dad to go and get it for me...it was terribly dirty. Covered in dirt and God knows what else with forgotten dirt-dobbler nests in it.

So I dragged it outside, and the ducks were out in the yard eating. I grabbed the hose —which started an interesting game of keep-away with the ducks (I go get the hose, they run away, I bring the hose where I need it, they run back, I go to turn on the water, they run away, I go back to the hose once the water’s on, they run back) — along with a sponge and some dishwashing liquid and scrubbed the sucker down. Now, after I scrub it down and rinse it out (which got me fairly well soaked I’m sure you can imagine), I look up and I notice...the ducks are gone. I listen, and I hear this twooshing noise. And I say to myself “That sounds just like when Miss. Kitty used to dive into Mom’s flowers.” So I look over, and lo and behold! The ducks are either on the carport or sitting in Mom’s flower beds! Now, I thought this was hysterical, but I knew my parents wouldn’t be as happy. As a rule, ducks poop everywhere, and it’s even more obvious on cement. So, I snuck around the car, and I sprits them with the hose. I thought they’d enjoy it, but they ended up running away. Then I saw the damage done. So I ended up not only cleaning out that bin, but also hosing down the carport.

I dragged the bin back in after I’d dried it off to my specifications. I was soaked in sweat from the waist up, and soaked from the hose from the waist down. Mom had a check up with that dumb doctor for her eye, so she and Dad left. And I really wanted to take a shower, but I figured I’d better load the thing up with books before I shower, otherwise I’ll work myself into another horse-sweat! So, I go back and forth carrying as many books as possible, huffing and puffing all the way. Then I put the books all in there so the biggest are at the bottom with the smallest stacked where ever else they can fit. Then I decide it’s done (cause the damn thing’s almost too heavy for me to move it and it’s almost completely full as well) and I’m going to go take my shower.

I get ready and go to turn the shower on...and nothing comes out. I can hear the water going through the shower neck, but the nozzle won’t spray! I try every trick I know, but no shower. By now, I’m really upset. I’m worn out, aching, sweaty, I can’t catch my breath, and thirsty, and the damn shower won’t shower! So I draw a cool bath and shave and wash and all that, and then I let that water out and then I draw another bath to wash my hair with. I hate bathing because it makes me feel like I’m washing myself with dirty water. After my hair is washed I get out rather quickly and dress. And then I drink a whole can of root beer. I try to only drink one can of root beer every two days or so, but this time, I just couldn’t deny the need.

That has been my day thus far. I’ve also manager to clean up my PC a bit. By clean up, I of course mean that I’ve taken folders off the C drive and transferred them to the F drive. C drive is only 20 GB of space and the new F drive that I bought (also called Mariko) is 250 GB of space. At least it would be 250 but my computer’s so old that it doesn’t recognize the whole 250. It thinks that it’s only 120 GB of space. /shrug. Whenever I get my new computer I’m gonna be switching the F drive from here to the new one. I cannot wait.

But anyway. I had a lot of pictures in the My Pictures folder. Mainly because I have the Screen saver set to My Picture Slideshow. But I decided to take all the pics of Gargoyles, Movies and Anime out and leave EQ, Desktops, and Black&White pics up there...because that’s what I like, and I’d like to see it more often.

I will now take a breather for the rest of the evening. As we have church tonight, I doubt that I’ll write again. So, Goodnight, just in case.

Katana
Your Japanese name should be

'Katana'

which means "sword, blade".

You're
like a fighter; bold and brave. You have a
strong opinion and speak your mind. You always
end up in some sort of conflict, maybe a
contest or a discussion, because you go look
for it. That's just how you are, I guess.
