Yo. Today was...not so great. But it ended well. Woke up and Mom wasn’t here. So, I finished the laundry and made her bed (she had washed her sheets). Then I realized I was in an excruciating amount of pain, so I took a pill and hoped it would work. Then, I tried ignoring the pain and just going on.
Mom got in and we decided to go walk. So we suited up and headed for the mall. But the stupid pain medicine didn’t kick in (or wasn’t strong enough, either way), and we had to go slow, and we could only do one lap. But it wasn’t so bad...alright I was practically in labor at the time. But it’s nothing new. I go through this once a month after all...have been for years.
anyway, I sprung for lunch, using the ‘get a burger at Chick-fil-a free’ cards that I’d received when I worked at the Palace. Didn’t cost a dime and we were happy. So lunch was taken care of. We came home and watched CSI: Miami because I had been too tired to see it last night. It was so good. Really. I’m just so glad to have them on and them be new again!
Then Mom and I decided to go see The Fantastic Four together. It was at 5:10 and it was only 1:45. So we had plenty of time. Mom took a nap. I typed up one thing from the stack of stuff sitting on my desk. Then I reread Tengu by C. S. Hayden. God, but I love her Gargoyles fan fiction. I’ve got When Graeme Met Lucy, Tengu, and most of Ronin all printed out and sorted in a binder. It’s almost pathetic. But I just love reading her stuff. Ronin is still unfinished right now, but it’s just as good as Tengu was for me when I first started reading that. A little more...edgy, but good!
Anyway. We went and saw the movie, and both of us liked it. Then we stopped at Tea Tias (a local and cheap Chinese place), and then a trip to Wal-Mart, and then to Sonic for a salad for Mom. And now we are home.
I talked it over with Mom, and since we might be moving into the A-frame soon, I thought maybe it would be better to put the whole ‘buying me a new computer’ thing on hold for a while. But she said we’d talk to Dad and see how that goes.
This hurricane sure is causing a ruckus. When we went to Wal-Mart, there was no milk, and all most all the water was gone, there were only gallons left. With this heat, Mom and I have faith that the storm won’t come in directly here. And if it were to get to a category 3 we still wouldn’t be worried. If it gets above a Cat. 3 and come in closer to home, then things will get bad. We don’t know if we’ll be able to board up the windows with Dad gone. I don’t even know where he keeps the stuff we use to cover the windows. Oh well. Maybe we can get Uncle C. to help us with it.
Tomorrow will come soon as it always does, so I shall be off to bed. Goonight!

Hullo! Who doesn't love chocolate? It's a stress-reliever, it's stomach medicine, it's good for a headache, and it just makes you feel better. - everquest:
EverQuest was my first MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). I loved it because it gave me a world to let my imagination soar in. By the time I was done, I had 82 characters, each with their own stories. - ghostbusters:
It's the funniest movie in the world...I don't care how old it is. I love the part at the beginning of Ghostbusters 1 where he goes "Listen!..." and they all pause and listen, and he goes "Do you smell something?" and Peter looks at him like "wtf?" - johnny depp:
....you need a description...Look, just google him if you don't know who I'm talking about. - moons:
..um..they're large rocks that orbit planets. I love them because they're pretty and cool. Plus they're nice to look at. - pencil & paper rpgs:
P&P RPGs are Role Playing Games that are done entirely on paper. I like them because they help me to remember everything about my character...because it's all written down. - role-playing:
Role Playing is fun because you can be whatever you want to be (depending on the RPG you choose). Plus it's a whole lot of fun to walk into an RPG in progress. I mean, a bunch of grown people talking, laughing, and fighting stuff that isn't there...it's a sight. - star wars:
The brain-storm of the great George Lucas! One of the coolest things Sci Fi. What else is there to say? - veggietales:
A really cute cartoon that stares digital vegetables. I have one of the Veggie Tales sound tracks and the songs are so corny. They always make me smile. - zorak:
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! No seriously. Zorak is from Space Ghost, and then he was one of the coolest cynics on Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet (I have both sound tracks from the Cartoon Planet shows). He's just funny in that biggot way.
