msmoonI’ve never really understood the need for the word subdivide. I mean, let’s think about this word. It’s like a double negative or something right? Because of course if you divide something, it’s going to be a sub-section of what it was before you divided it. It’s like a free gift. Well of course you’re giving a free gift; the point of gifts is that they’re free! There’s a specific word used for that…i-something. For the life of me, I cannot remember what it is though...
Anyway. The whole point of that is for me to have something to connect what I’m about to tell you.
Yesterday my parents tell me, “We’re going to go and subdivide our land, and we’re going to put the land your house falls on, in your name.” ….I’m going to own the Nexus. I mean, it’s mine; yes, but it’s mine because my parents gave it to me. This time it’d be mine by right of ownership! When I was looking at them, with raised eyebrows they explained that “If anything happens to us, no one can take that house from you, and if you decide to sell it, the money will go to you.” This, of course, makes perfect sense to me as well. Of course after all this the only thing I could really think is “Man…aren’t my parents awesome?” Seriously...I’m living rent free and I have a repair-man (my Dad) that I don’t really have to worry about paying as long as I let him drink my coffee in the mornings and fix them an occasional meal. Compared to most, my life really rocks.
In other news, my mom says she’ll be calling our ISP today (or at least soon) to set up some sort of appointment for them to come out Saturday and installing DSL at my house so that I can in turn beam it over to them with the router...Then...I shall have Warcrack again! I really cannot wait to play. I’ve been saying (what with my work computer being down and all) that I really need to just beat the crap outta something! Plus, I just wanna plaaaay /whine.
...what else to say...oh. I found a present for my cousin. I shall buy it soon, wrap it, and put it away. Then I can focus on looking for her Christmas gift. There are many possibilities…but we shall see.
Also! I shall be going over to Reiko’s this Sunday again. She wants the next season of Supernatural and to hang out (but I’m sure it’s mostly the next season of Supernatural ^..^).
