Alicia had a... 'lesson' today, but it was really more of a question. She basically asked them to give her 3 sins. Somehow, that made me think of the Seven Deadly sins, and aside from a minor disagreement with Seth about the term 'sloth' (look it up, Brazilian Wonder), that got me to thinking about the seven deadly in general. I kinda got to wondering where they came from and all...I think I may be switching my lesson to focus on them...because, near'as I can tell, they're human emotions or states of mind really declared sins by the catholic church....I'm not sure where I'm going with this yet, but I obviously need to find more scripture...there's one in particular I'm thinking about, where it essentially says 'there are six things the LORD hates, seven things he cannot abide' or something like that. I'll have to check it out.
...but, for right now...it's 1:23 in the morning =..= and I have a serious sinus head ache. Stupid insomnia. I have to clean the church tomorrow.... I hope it's ok that I work best in afternoons.
