Harvest Moon

Ok, so I just got back from an errand for Dr. Bunch. He brings me this package and tells me it needs to be returned to the person who sent it to him. So, that means going down to Fed Ex and filling out all the crap and stuff. I usually don’t mind. I mean, yeah it interrupts my day, but it’s not like it’s far away or difficult to do. So, I get everything I need, make sure no one needs anything out in town and head on my way. I get there, and they need me to fill out everything and get the Fed Ex# and everything. That’s when it happened.

It sounded like someone upstairs was moving our heavy boxes…and then abruptly dropping them on the ground….

...and then the roof fell through.

It was one of these work-ceilings with florescent lighting, and a 3 ft by 6 ft section of the roof fell down, with the insulation following close behind…the guy upstairs was checking for a sectioning that had a leak in it, and nearly fell through. Thank God he caught himself! And thank God it was on the opposite side of the room…Of course this room wasn’t big at all, so it wasn’t that far away either. Then, I notice that there’s all this green stuff caked onto the yellow insulation. Of course the manager there was trying to say “Oh, that’s just some insulation” and I was like “Uh, no, that’s mold.” The poor ladies at the register screamed and nearly jumped into the wall =..=’

I just happened to be on my cell phone with Lori (asking her our Fed Ex #) when it happened. That was an amusing conversation

Lori: What was that racket!?
Me: Oh, just the roof collapsing. Anyway, call me back once you find out that tracking number.
Lori: O_o Oh…right. Of course. You weren’t under the roof were you?
Me: No. I’m on the other side of the room.
Lori: /sigh. Ok. Good.

I shall now finish eating my pasta salad. Tootles!
