The Two Weeks are Up

Lacey just left. Today was her last day. I don’t think I’ve ever had a coworker leave that made me feel like crying. I already miss her.

I couldn’t make this up…

Wow. So about ten minutes after Lacey left, Lori told us we could go too if we wanted to….how nice. Especially since, with Lacey leaving and all, I was really bummed. But I’m trying not to focus on that. There’s plenty of other unpleasant things to focus on.

Mom went yesterday to Aunt Annie’s to visit for a while before Dad arrives tonight. Somewhere along the way, she must have talked to my Aunt Lane as well. Aunt Lane was saying that after Scamp had come back from her trip, she had complained that I was lazy and never did anything around the house (which is wrong, because I washed dishes and did laundry). She said that Scamp didn’t want to live with me either because she didn’t want to be forced to go to church. Now, that I can sorta see. If you aren’t a Christian, what’s the point of going to a Christian church, right? But it’s Mom’s house and she makes the rules. I respect her, and follow them. However, if she were to live with me in the Nexus, that’d be changed because I really don’t like it when people force me to do stuff, so yeah. Not gonna try forcing others to do stuff. As long as she isn’t building any black alters on the properity, I really don’t care how she worships (sorry to disappoint, Scamp ^_~). So, Mom calls me after I get off of work and tells me about what Aunt Lane said. Of course, I’m thinking, “This is probably just Aunt Lane…” but I don’t like to have any doubt about it, so I got online and talked to Scampers about it just to be sure. She confirmed that it was all bogus, and she was pretty upset about it. I just shrugged it off, because I figured it was just...well...Aunt Lane. I told her it was kinda funny us having such good gossip going on about us and we didn’t even know about it.

Other than that, life’s been peachy on the side of keen, if you know what I’m sayin’. I think I’m gonna go make sure the house looks presentable and all then get on and maybe play some Warcraft. Later, sunshines.
