Technical Difficulties and some other such stuff

Beware, for I am: Tired

Ok...after much toil and with the assistance of a heavily-accented Bell South assistant, my parents are wireless. I’m wired, but they’re wireless. We finally gout the router working, and once it was hooked up right everything else fell into place. It turned out that I had to go in and tinker with the modem and introduce it to the router and once they were introduced, they carried on a conversation and it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I’ve now updated my parents thingy over on old Irene, and they’re now up and running. The only thing they should need from me now is the occasional printing thing.

...I’m exhausted. I did not sleep well at all, and of course Dad was so loud this morning. He’s always loud but when he has people over he gets louder...And they were eating in the kitchen around 7 this morning, so I could hear everything. If I don’t get a good night’s sleep soon, I’m gonna end up crashing or something. I dunno...Oh well.

A Little Girl in a Big World

Beware, for I am: Productive

Ok, so what did I do after this morning’s initial flury of activity? Nothing. That’s right. Nothing. I feel into a stupor and did little more than watch more Lord of the Rings appendices, read fan fiction, and write a little. But I did get something out of the writing at least...

Well, I was gonna post this to all_tales, because I’d love some feedback and comments on it, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to...So I’ll just post it here! This is really kind of an original with original characters, locations, and environments...This story just sort of popped into my head, and I see it as kind of a short story that leads up to the big one that’s been brewing in my head. The character is just so lovable (to me at least) that I can’t forget about her, so I wanna at least have this first chapter up to remind myself about it.

Ok. Here it is.

So, whaddaya think? Sure, it’s a rough-draft and a work in progress but at least it sort of introduces you to a person in my world. I’m getting so sick of not writing about it, and yet I don’t have anything more to write concerning the main story.

So that’s all I really did today. Write that little diddy and add a bit to the next chapter in the EQ Saga. I’m now very hot and it’s late. So I’m gonna go shower and then it’s off to bed (I hope).
